I am on a rewatch of Katanagatari and decided to count how many deaths of named characters occur. I will also count how many Maniwa Ninja leaders remain after each episode.

This is the fist episode in which no named character is killed. There are some deaths in Azekura Kanara's flashback and some unfortunate souls that decided to challenge Maniwa Hōō.
