I woke up this morning and cooked fried bologna, grits and toast. Something I haven’t had in years. I started thinking about my mom waking me up with “Rise and Shine, rise even if you don’t shine”. Oh how I miss hearing Earnestine Williams say that. I can remember us waking up by age, first Andrea Kirk-Cook then Vicki Kirk-May and last was Kevin Kirk. He still holds that spot 😂😂. I’m sure I had fried bologna since I lived at home but I can’t honestly remember it. Maybe I’m just excited about working with them at Jam Session November 16-18. But whatever it is, I enjoyed my fried bologna and grits.
