This is Lightning’s Pokemon team.

Pikachu is her partner and first Pokemon she got (around age 10).

Toxel was with her for at least just as long. It belonged to her parents, but after they died she raised it.

Porenta was caught during a GC mission. They’ve fought together and earned each others respect. Then it decided to join her party.

Meikro was an accidental catch, she actually aimed for Riolu, but she took it either way.

Riolu was a stray in Bodhum, it was her mission to get rid of it, but decided to add it into her team to take it under her wings. Her first catch attempt failed, causing her to catch Meikro instead.

Sheinux was supposed to be a gift for Serah, but it clung to Lightning so much that she just kept it and gave Serah something else.
