leo was freaking out a bit and when he freaked out, he got distant. he knew cody was starting to notice it which made leo actually think about what he was doing. normally, he would bail and just try to start fresh, be on his own, but he didn’t want to do that with cody. he loved cody. he had just never been in love before and he was freaking himself out. leo had just gotten to cody’s place and he already knew that he needed to address the distancing he was doing, so he just went right into it. he frowns at cody’s words, feeling bad that the other was clearly freaking out about it too. “wait no... it’s... it has nothing to do with your ex... “ he reassures him and steps towards him. “you didn’t do anything wrong.... this is... it’s all me... i just... i freak out when people get close... because i feel like they’ll leave... i was getting in my head,” he tries to explain. “but then... i realized.... i dont want to push you away because i dont want to lose you... im sorry for getting distant. i love you.... and i can’t lose you....i just freaked out and i need to learn how to talk to you instead of just getting in my head. “
