Not a lot to say about today’s recon conversation with Blair Tuke.
Interesting dock shoes at the last few seconds….Never seen anything quite like them.
Anyone know what they are?

Buone Natale!
Thanks to the LRPP recon team for finally getting some great closeups of the team, rudder, foils and sailing in lighter wind
Note the subtle angle differences between the shapes of port and starboard foils.

Nice fun interview with an American Magic sailor, who is actually happy being interviewed.
Nice to see (even as American Magic still lopsided at times in the gusts).
Forgettable interview with Andy Maloney of ETNZ.

Back from Barcelona.
Pete trying to play coy as usual. LEQ40 has a new port foil going through testing.
Looks like the chase boat was having a hard time keeping up!

After the horrible weather that the north of NZ has been experiencing, ETNZ got out on the water.
Some of the best recon footage in a long time and good to see them practicing their starts.
Recon interview also delves into the winding down, packing and readying the team for moving to Barcelona headquarters!
Thank you recon team and Tony Rae for the gorgeous footage.

Well, I do have to give it to the team….
…They are looking much more stable flying, tacking and gibing.
Not sure anyone knows if these foil shapes will work in Barcelona.
