Confession (in color)

I can't wait to actually complete all of these pictures I did for leshley week starting with my confession comic 😊. I realized how much of it relied on color, and it was a blast to do so. I loved doing her eyes and blush. I made sure to double back to put all of his moles on as well .I want to start working on trying more hard shadow work without blurring it, so I'm gonna try that for the rest of the week entries.

omg what happened with that discord. i thought about joining at some point but i'm too old for that kind of shit.

don't bother, they'll ban you if you follow me. or are caught talking to me.

there's a group of about 4-6 people in that server (i don't know who all of them are but one of them is a pretty big fanartist) who aggressively hate my takes on things (and can't articulate why) and got REALLY FUCKING PISSED OFF (because they put so much stock into the things i say) when i said i don't read fanfiction and didn't like the prompts for leshley week, so they sent me over fifty hate anons in the span of 48 hours while laughing about it in the discord. one of them had the gall to DM me and try to "explain to me how fandom worked in 2023" and tell me i had to treat fanfiction like a business and network and make connections if i wanted people to read my stuff (and didn't understand when i said i don't care if nobody reads it) and then demanded a public apology for the prompts thing. and they screen recorded the whole conversation. and they still continued to stalk my blog after the fact, so i had to block them for their own good, because it was obsessive and weird. and the admins (the head admin being a huge fic writer) just allow all of that to happen and may be part of that group to begin with.

a follower of mine tried to join the server independently of all of this, because they didn't know that it was going on, and got banned within the first 24 hours of joining. they DMed both admins and a few other people they knew that were in the server asking why they got banned and got no answer and were blocked. then, later, someone else DMed said follower and told them that the reason they got banned was because they were caught talking to me, and the DMer left the server once that was said in it. and that's how i ultimately found most of this out.

i haven't talked about any of this publicly because my god do i not care about stupid shit like that that happens on the internet; i have real life real person problems to worry about.
