hyoseop is excited to partake in his first ever tour, though he’s also a bit nervous. though hyoseop has tried his best at learning mandarin since joining type zero, hyoseop has never been the quickest learner when it comes to… well, anything. he speaks a bit, though most definitely not fluent. he’s pretty sure he won’t become fluent before the tour starts, but he can try his best at learning some mandarin still.

he sits with baekhyun, “i really wanna thanks the fans once we perform but… i don’t really know how to do it in mandarin… i could probably say what i want to say in english, but then it just wouldn’t be as special…”. “how good are you at mandarin?” he turns to look at baekhyun.

While enjoying the warmth of the sun, Zoe lazily gazed around the dining hall. That's when she spotted him, Baek. Her heart skipped a beat at the sight of him. She has admired him from afar, but now, seeing him up close, sent her pulse racing.

She watched him for a moment, trying to gather her thoughts. Zoe couldn't help but admire his handsome features, the way his dark brown eyes seemed to hold a depth she longed to explore. Taking a deep breath to steady herself, Zoe decided to approach him. She knew she had to control her 'fangirling' tendencies if she wanted to make a good impression. With newfound courage, she rose from her spot and made her way over to where Baek stood.

As she drew closer, Zoe couldn't help but feel a flutter of nerves in her stomach. What if he didn't want to be bothered? What if she made a fool of herself? Pushing aside her doubts, she plastered a confident smile on her face and greeted him.

"Hey, Baek, right?" she said, hoping she got his name right. "I'm Zoe. I've seen you around campus, and I just wanted to say hi." Her voice sounded surprisingly steady, considering the whirlwind of emotions churning inside her.

the vending machine is a place one goes to when in need for refreshments or to have brief conversations of a nature trainees probably weren’t supposed to have. but as long as it was just talking, no one could call them out for anything, right?

“oppa~,” she sing sungs while bouncing over to baekhyun, checking her hip against his in a playful manner to get access to the vending machine in his place with a mischievous smile on her lips. “how’s mr. worldwide handsome doing today,” she continues, voice lowered down to a whisper so people wouldn’t pick up on their conversation.

“you looked amazing for the spring boys promotions, by the way. i saw some nice fancams from the concert. how was it?!”

what is happening?

hyuntae was at a loss for words after their meeting. he was one of the chosen trainees that might get to debut? and in type zero? he wasn't sure if that was something he wanted. but he was happy with the opportunity none the less. now he got to show his potential. he was going to prove he was up to the challenge to grow his skills in the areas that they had asked of him.

but what was this feeling that he suddenly had? for some reason he was anxious. nervous even. would he be good enough to debut? but was he even ready to do that? so many questions went through his mind. but he had to try. one person he knew would also be having a hard time. his brother. he as even anxious over spring boys, he would sure as hell be nervous about this. so after the meeting he stayed back by the door and waited for baekhyun to come out.

"no time like the present to start. wanna go with me to practice? i could use your help with singing" it was the one skill he had that he had no confidence in. first the musical made him feel unprepared with singing and now this evaluation. he hated the idea of getting a bad report on anything. maybe this was going to be the first.

Sojin had been going through an emotional rough patch lately, feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed. He needed an outlet to burn off some of his angst and decided to go hit the local gym in the late afternoon. As he walked in, he could feel the intensity of the atmosphere, the sound of weights clanging and people grunting as they pushed themselves to the limit.

He made his way to the back of the gym, where there weren't many people. He ran full speed on the treadmill for three minutes to build up his heart rate, then he moved to the bench press. He started working out vigorously, feeling the burn in his muscles as he pushed himself harder. In the midst of his workout, he noticed someone standing next to him, watching him intently. It was a fellow gym-goer, a guy around his age who looked kind of familiar and looked to be in great shape.

Sojin didn't want to be rude, so he took off his headphones and turned to the guy. "Huh, did you say something?" he asked the guy, ...really to give his legs a break.

parker and @lgcbaekhyun do scavenger hunt things

After almost three years in South Korea, Parker has decided that he likes Seoul and the country in general. What he’s not particularly fond of is the summers. They’re hot and humid, and feature this thing called typhoon season. He doesn’t mind the heat as much when it’s dry and sunny, but on mornings such as thi, it’s too humid a raincoat, and too wet not to have an umbrella, though the waterproof sneakers his sister sent him from the US are pretty sick and handy.

“Why isn’t anyone wearing glasses?!” He whines loudly and throws his head back in frustration. For a moment he mindlessly takes in the underside of his convenience store umbrella while he takes in an equally frustrated breath before righting himself and turning his attention to Baekhyun. “I swear I see people wearing glasses all the time! Where is everyone?” Truth be told, even Parker even wears glasses but he had opted for his contacts today, in case the weather cleared up enough for him to wear the sunglasses currently perched on top of his head.

The amount of new experiences Hyunsoo has gone through within the past eight months is enough to rattle any new industry hopeful — in particular if they happened to be an introvert like him. He finds the amount of opportunities to be unprecedented and unexpected in the best of ways. ( The amount of attention on him now is another story entirely. )

There are plenty of other rookies close enough to him during this retreat; albeit, many of them those he had not spoken to before or ushered into other groups if he was familiar with them.

Lunch time feels more akin to his socially awkward days in high school rather than a bonding event between co-workers. Groups are designated to sit amongst one another; himself separated from the other actors and models he initially arrived with to sit with Type Zero members. Of course, he knew of them ( how could he not? ), but there was a wall between debuted idols and trainees.

Even still, he feels as if he is out of place. He has already made his debut and yet he hovers on the precipice of the seating area with clear apprehension, lunch box tightly gripped in his hands.

His eyes fixate on the crowd of people — many faces he has seen in his fleeting days as a trainee or exclusively on television. Surreal, given that he considers himself a genuine fan of a few of the groups present at the moment. It is jarring, and enough to send his heart into a frenzy against his ribcage. So many people... He drifts around with his gaze, a bit lost on where to go until he runs into a familiar face.

"Ah... hyung..." Hyunsoo's voice is soft as he calls out to Baekhyun. He lifts his hand in a tepid wave and quickly steps up next to him. "Are you going to our table? For Type Zero..."

even if he didn’t have a busy schedule like parker and daeho, eunho had never felt so in over his head as these past weeks. where he’s had to guide and help trainee’s, as if he was some big senior artist. he had only been an idol for 2 years, but after being with them for a few weeks now, eunho could see what the coahes meant when they said they weren’t ready to debut.

but what was he supposed to do?

prepare them?

he wasn’t li shang from mulan, even if he related to the character right about now - because some of these boys were despreate for debut, and some didn’t take it seriously.

eunho shakes his head, snapping himself back into the zone, eunho had just come from a testing of clothes that he would wear later and he hadn’t taken of the bright orange burberry hoodie he had been given to wear just yet, he had rushed over - “ sorry, i am a little late. ”

there were many different guests to do each day for this scavenger hunt. leo never had to do one of these before, but it was quite the experience. he didn't mind. they were split into teams, and in the true spirit of competition, leo wanted to win. "baek, we have so many options to start off with today. do you just want to start from the top?"

leo couldn't help looking over the list confused as to where to start, but excited nonetheless. "we can start with an easy one. we can go have breakfast and take a photo of it"

a performance alone

solo performance, not something hyoseop had done in a while. there was the cafe performances, which was quite a while ago, but he enjoyed them. hyoseop had been used to perform with others, his dance and singing skills not very outstanding, if he performed alone it was easier to see his lacking. and though hyoseop still didn’t feel confident in neither his dance nor singing, legacy had let him debut, and he had to remind himself that they’d let him debut, he wasn’t all bad.

he sits with baekhyun, trying to figure out suggestions for his solo performance for their upcoming fan meeting. “i wanna do rapping, but, i always do rapping” he looks up at baekhyun, “then again, i always do rapping because that’s what i’m best at” he shrugs. “any skills you’ll be focusing on for the solo performance?” he hums, “i didn’t think it would be so difficult to find songs and what i wanna do” he sighs.

Far be it for Park Seojin to be consumed by nerves. On the contrary, he is quite excited — ecstatic, over the moon. He pushes past the tendrils of disdain, frustration and envy. Albeit, perhaps he's developed a certain complacency in his impatience. One could call the way he bounces his his leg and drums his fingers signs of some anxious feeling but Seojin resists the notion. Rather, he wants it all right now. The concert, the stage, the vision of himself singing for an arena full of people.

Be at your best or you'll have wasted your youth for nothing. Fuck all, actually, Seojin would like to add, but he has been working on that potty mouth of his. "Oh, shit." So much for that. He can't help it though, not when he nearly checks shoulders with Baekhyun in his mid-rehearsal daze.

He grabs the other man via is upper arm to make sure he's steady before sending him a rather cheeky salute reminiscent of their time in the military. Of course, experiencing basic training together could form an everlasting bond between two men.

"Hey, watch where you're going, hot shot," He starts off with a playful smirk, the Gyeongsang dialect naturally spilling from his lips in Baekhyun's presence. ( More than usual. ) "What are you in such a hurry for?" Though, Seojin must consider he is the only one still lingering around the practice room while the others have each peeled off for the day. A number of assumptions swirl through his mind but he offers none of them. He could be asked, similarly, why he is still floating around.
