obsessed with the whole "he was my best friend too" from Sam and Dean's "is not the same" or "you don't get it" concept. because Sam loves Cas, there's no doubt of that, they are best friends, brothers in arms, family...and yet, is not the same so then Sam goes "oh" like the pieces of the puzzle somehow fit now

okay so i know the popular consensus among my mutuals is a “boy wants girl girl wants angel angel wants boy” scenario which i can get behind as like a theoretical concept to study in a classroom setting but it is ultimately nowhere near my truth

my truth is that sam and dean are canonically soulmates and castiel isn’t really interested in sam until he realizes it’s a package deal (i am confident that if you were to try you could track down and pinpoint the exact moment where castiel resigns himself to this on-screen) and then he decides he will literally kill himself in front of them to be their third. i think deancas is reciprocated to an extent it’s not this fucking. earth-shattering francesca in the second circle love thing (only on castiel’s end) but it’s there. samcas is a given. i don’t think it’s possible to enjoy castiel the way i do without samcas influence

basically i think castiel angel of the lord got himself cast out of heaven and thrown into antenora in a desperate attempt to unicorn for a heterosexual trad couple from kansas. for this i grant him the nobility of a knight

DeanCas: Supernatural was my first big fandom, and the show and these two idiots will always hold a special place in my heart, even though as the show and my love for it progressed, I became more of a SamCas girl, as they’re dynamic led much more naturally into the realm of relationship than DeanCas did.

Hermione/Harry: Another well loved and favourite ship.  These two made so much more sense than HarryGinny or RonHermione ever did! I loved their friendship and it EASILY could have led beyond that, and much more naturally than Harry and Ginny ever felt.

Lastly

JayTim: This ship and these two adorable idiots is what got me back into DC after a LONG hiatus from the franchise.  They are adorable together and deserve each other and to be happy after all the shit they have been through.

Last Song: High Hopes - Pan!ck at the Disco

Last Movie: Aquaman - So good.  I thoroughly enjoyed this movie in every way.

Last Book:  Oh gods...um “Taggerung” by Brain Jaques.  Redwall for the win, bitches.

Currently Reading:  “Warbreaker” by Branden Sanderson.  I’m rereading this book yet again, as I love it that much.  The characters are dynamic, their motivations compelling, and the dialogue is witty and engaging in turns.  It also has a very unique magic system that I adore.  I encourage everyone to read it.

Favourite Fanfiction: Do I have to pick just one again?

“Upon a Fiery Steed” by Vathara.  A Gundam Wing/Stargate: SG1 crossover that I’ve read easily a dozen times.  It seamlessly melds two vastly different fandoms together in a way that just works. Staying true to not only both series original plots, but also doesn’t change the characters personalities to fit the story.  The plot and prose are so flawless that you can easily picture this happening in the SG1 universe.
