I literally hate the phrase "semi-lore" so much

#mcyt #if you do use it i don't have any personal issues with you dw like it's become part of the community's common language #i just wish it wasn't #like in my eyes lore is lore #and i get some people maybe what to differentiate between different lore is they want but like at least call it casual lore #like ranboo referred to his making the lab stream as semi lore #what does that meann?? like i know he just means it's not as fancy and high production as like his lessons stream for example #but in normal word context semi means like ''partly'' like that would sugggest his whole lab is only like kinda lore or whatever #and it isn't you know it isn't i know it isn't ranboo knows it isn't #and it's one thing if a cc uses it to describe their lore sure yanno it's what the community have told you to title it yanno #but when the community calls just completely normal dsmp streams semi-lore?? like especially when it's something like ponks which is clearly #lore #like more often the phrase semi-lore is just used to downplay people's content or to deem it as less important and that's not fair #dsmp
