OKAY SO

my thoughts on moonshot cause i review everything cole sprouse stars in besides riverdale because my posts review riverdale for me

spoilers under the cut

first my love for this movie. it was cheesy yes. so cheesy. but oh my god i died laughing at like all the jokes and we know i would never if my parents were watching with me (my family was out at jurrasic world so i had my own movie night) LESBIAN COUPLE funny jokes (super funny jokes) and cole + lana and i was like just mwah mwah at this movie. since i am learning about archetypes in school i applied them to moonshot as well and I'm saying it that walt is the child/innocent, sophie is the orphan and/or the lover?, captain tart(e)ar is the wise old man (love her tho mwah) leon kovi is the ruler (hate him tho ugh and i will explain) and G.A.R.Y is the joker and yes he is a robot and that's kinda all the characters i wanna talk about

WALT

okay so depsite his name, hes just a child. walt is my bestie. hes my blorbo. he's just so hbhbjl i have no words to describe him. i love him so much he's so innocent. his character was so interesting to see because he was so different from his other roles. most of cole's roles (ha ha rhyme) have been educated, smart, quick-witted and idk just like not walt. walt was the opposite. where will was an entp, i think walt is and enfp or and esfp. most of his other characters have been very logical but walt was not. walt just did stuff. he sent 37 applications to the mars program without thought. after like 3 he should have thought "huh. maybe they don't want me" no he's determined. i loved that about him as soon as i saw him. his determination. he wouldn't give up. he was funny. he cared, when he cares about someone, he cared so much (ginny and sophie) like yeah he just met ginny but he also talked on the phone a lot with her and she interacted and a month passed so i get it he wanted to see her like he felt like she was perfect for him and i would have liked to see that relationship grow a little bit if this movie was longer but then it would have been filler

SOPHIE

sophie i was hesitant about first meeting her like she came in kinda late to the plot imo but it also fit when she came in kinda and like they go to the same college and never saw each other again? no that critique that later anyway sophie. i grew to love her. i didn't like her right away as i did walt but i also wasn't like i hate her character right away. then we see her again in (you guessed it) walts work and they talk all night. sophie is confusing. she hates him then she talks all night? i feel like she doesn't know who she is at the beginning but at the end she has some idea of herself apart from boys and relationships. i also think her box was built around calvin and not what she actually wanted but she already had. at the end, shes more independent and i like that and shes judgemental but in a good way and she takes too much on herself. as soon as walt was found she could have reported him and had nothing to do but she hid him and took it on herself to take care of him. shes too hard on herself. that's my last point on her but like she needs to loosen up in life and with herself

LEON KOVI

least fav character. i hate him. he can die in a ditch. i mean his character had the potential to be the mentor for walt sure but i hated how he was written. after walt meets him he immediately manipulates him to be a campaign for the program that i don't know the name of lol. like he's all "yeah we knew you were sneaking around that was so funny lol anyway i posted it all over social and your famous so i cant really send you down to earth cause its bad pr so sign here and you can live here for free and help me ith campaign and leave everyone you love behind!" he preyed on the fact that walt LITRALLY just got dumped after everything he did for her and he's been obsessed with leon forever and everyone he loves (sophie) is on mars so he takes the deal. the idea for leon to be this mentor to walt was good. if he was a healthy mentor for walt. he also manipulated him to stay so like. he can die

dont really wanna talk about anyone else those are the main people i had thoughts on and also!! calvin was kinda a good boyfriend??? he set all that up for sophie just to have her leave cause she opened the gift from walt and had a talk with jan like i feel bad for him he did love sophie but he didn't put her first and that as kinda the theme so like i get why the had to break up

maybe ill post negative thoughts about the movie generally and not character but that's another day and i have a project to work on lmao

HIII HERTZ!!!!!!!!!! I DONT HAVE A FAVE BUT INSTEAD. I AM TENDERLY TAKING U BY THE HAND ON A TOUR OF MY FAVES (THIS WILL B LONG SO UNDER THE CUT)

these r in no particular order btw i just like!! there r so many good characters in kof.

MAI SHIRANUI. mai is literally my wife. shes like rly oversexualized :( but shes rly cute and like literally everything to me. i admit i um. kinda got into kof indirectly bc of her. shes like in love w this guy named andy (who doesnt reciprocate and is rly rude to her) AND AND. she is so so close w her team (shes on an all womens fighting team!! and theyre all friends and like. shes so cheerful and cheers people on! in the anime she literally cheers on someone on the rival team that his team wasnt cheering on!) shes like rly fiery and rly fun and so sweet and OUGH. wife. i love her so much u litrally dont even understand. shes everything to me. i love her. SHE ALSO HAS FIRE POWERS. and hurts w her fan! shes like one of the more well known kof characters but i love her so much shes everything to me. shes also SUPER fun to fight as and rly strong! AND AND. she and chun li (from street fighter) have a rivalry bc there was a crossover game between capcom and snk!! but theyre both rly similar and yeah!!

OK. NEXT. kula diamond!! she has two moms and she was basically raised as a weapon (like kurapika hxh) (keeping this vague bc like i dont wanna spoil too much!) AND shes like part of this found family and her rival who used to like. rly be irked by her started to actually care about her thru the games and like. ough. AND as the games go on she gets happier overtime and like is so sweet. she loves ice cream and she literally offers to heal certain opponents w her ice powers after matches. shes literally my best friend!! AND her hair turns blue when shes using ice powers (iirc) but shes naturally a strawberry blonde!! heres a pic of her w her found family (they r in a meeting against the government sort of organization, its a long story)

NEXT ON THE BLORBO TOUR: ASH CRIMSON. hes a fucking menace. literally everyone wants this kid dead (hes the protag for a few of the games! they switch protagonists every arc iirc) but hes like kinda lonely and like from what i know of the fanbase everyone hates him but his design is SO good and i think hes cool so i will b the only ash fan (altho like. i am avoiding the fandom as much as i can so like idk but from what ive seen ppl rly dislike him). he also like taunts a lot in his dialogue but one of my fave lines of dialogue is how like. anyone whos relatively nice is like buddy u are lonely arent u and hes just like NO. but he literally is. im soooo excited to get to the games he's in. HE ALSO HAS FIRE POWERS. but green. im convinced he is wearing a bump it in his hair. ALSO. he loves doing nail art. hes everything to me but also my worstie. this pic is him (in the middle, blonde) n his team (p much the only ppl who can rly stand him from what i understand)

NEXT. BENIMARU NIKAIDO. HES LIKE. LEGITIMATELY (LOOSELY) BASED OFF OF POLNAREFF FROM JJBA. hes like rly funny to me bc legitimately hes rly fucking pitiful. but hes rly funny. hes like the comedic relief that his friends like him but get bothered by him and OH BOY i go insane over that character type. hes a model (as well as a fighter which um. u would think would contradict.) HE HAS ELECTRICAL POWERS TOO. i think he holds his hair up w his electricity powers. he loves women too but ultimately he is just a goofy guy. HES RLY GOOD THO. i love him <3

OK. NEXT!! YURI SAKAZAKI!!! shes on mai's team (along w king, you will see her next!!) and shes so cute and so happy and shes like!! everything to me! shes just genuinely like. the character type thats a ray of sunshine and shes so so kind. her win pose in kof 95 (about 40 seconds in the vid i linked!) is so so good i love her so much. i love how shes so supported by her team and vice versa, like their friendship is EVERYTHING to me. shes just like rly goofy and fun and i love her a lot! heres a pic w her (far right) and mai from the snk capcom crossover game!!

ALRIGHT. NEXT IS KING!! shes a bartender and soooo pretty!! shes rly strong AND SHE HAS A PET CAT. shes like always in her suit (so cute!) and shes in the fighting tournament to raise money for her brothers hospital bills! and a lot of her quotes r just like teasing her opponents!! shes who i main in 95 bc shes SO strong and shes like!! everything to me <- is overwhelmed w all the great things abt her)! shes in the middle here tho! she is also like. very lgbt to me (her dialogue is very like hmm. does not seem straight)

NEXT ON THE BLORBO TRAIN!! LEONA!! shes like. well. she has killed. a lot. but its ok i love her. one of her weapons is (and i kid u not) explosive earrings. there is SO much fundamentally wrong w her. shes rly rly like reserved ig? and rly worries about her hurting her friends (bc of well. possession reasons. its complicated but its why she killed i believe). shes very like quiet and sticks to a couple words a lot of the time. shes also kinda strict (had a military background) but i love her. ALSO. fun fact i discovered when getting images of her is that some of her moves are based off of jojo (the explosive earrings referrencing to kiras powers and she has an aging power that is referring to prosciuttos!)

NEXT. A 2 FOR 1: MATURE AND VICE. theyre ioris teammates and like. these women are SO coded to be together. mature is the blonde one and vice is the red haired one! theyre both like evil and mean and i am OBSESSED w them. they care abt iori but also like. theyre kinda enemies w him. its rly rly funny i love them. mature lierally well. fights w her nails that r super sharp and vice has super strength!! theyre both like kinda rude and tease their opponents but i love them sm...

NEXT!! K' (pronounced as K dash)!! this guy is a clone and also part of kula's found family (hes in the pic i had w her, he has white hair and a leather outfit!). hes literally like. so traumatized and honestly went from p much hating everyone to gathering a tiny group of people he trusts and!! ough. i just. hes everything to me. i want him to have the world. i dont have a lot 2 say about him other than i care about him a lot!! hes the one reclining in the yellow chair in this pic (also INFINITELY funny bc the other three guys in this pic all want each other dead but yes lets have a friendly little vacay pic)

AND. ANOTHER 2 FOR 1 DEAL: BUT IORI YAGAMI AND KYO KUSUNAGI. theyre like rivals they want each other dead but like. imo theyre a bit in love at the same time. kyo is like ur typical nice guy but doesnt do great in school due to not caring about it (despite being 20 he hasnt graduated from high school) AND my fave thing abt him is he LOVES writing poems but hes not great at it. hes rly strong and just like genuinely a nice guy! he has a motorcycle too! hes friends w benimaru and is just like. a rly nice guy. HE AND IORI ARE IN A BAND TOGETHER ALSO. which the voice actors will like do concerts as the band which is SO cool. he hates iori w a passion bc their familes have like had a rivalry for years and years but also. they rly dont know why they hate each other. iori is like trying SO hard to be like omg guyyyssss im so evil. but hes rly not hes just some guy thats also my babygirl. he loves cats, he literally is like only caring about if he can fight Kyo (like. esp in the kof manga (i believe post 95?)). he also like has fire powers! kyo does too tho! me when we r both men and also in a band together but i also want u to die sooo bad
