I know I'm just probably grasping at straws here, but it's time I take this out of my chest.
Back when snk 119 was released, after two days of ugly sobbing, I commented about how it didn't surprised me that Gabi was the one firing that killing shot. A lot of that had to do with everything we've learned about her since chapter 91, but mainly it was bc of a heavy feeling I got while reading chap 102 last year. Yes I'm talking about this.

Back then I found this panel very suspicious. In the middle of the battle by this point every character was focusing on Zeke's entrance. We got shots of every single one of the characters. But then that was broken by the panels of Gabi running towards the battlefield and swearing to kill Eren Jaeger. So far so good, there's nothing strange with her vow considering all that just happened in Liberio. It's Eren's panel that grabbed my attention.
Looking a the whole page his expression could be read as the same as the other characters: reacting to Zeke. This lecture works pretty well overall after all. But I always interpreted it as something else; no matter how improbable it sounds, bc there's no way Eren could have heard her considering the distance, it pretty much looked as Eren somehow reacting to Gabis words. Even the placement of the drawing seems to be hinting at that.
As foreshadowing, this was an incredible hint. But that's not all. When the two of the reunite in snk 112 Eren goes out of his way to include her in his chat with Armin and Mikasa, and even to take her with him to shiganshina. He later says is bc he wanted her to contact the infiltrators, but I can't help but wonder if he had other motives. Like keeping a close eye on her.
After that all hell breaks loose, Marley attacks and the battle unfolds. Zeke arrives, screams and ends up turning Falco into a titan, resulting in the deaths of Colt and later Porco, right in front of her. Gabi grabs the gun while Eren makes a run to Zeke, and we have this panel

A lot of people wondered why Eren didn't even attempted to dodge in any form. I've read all the theories: he knew this wouldnt kill him, or part of an elaborate illusion, he didn't have time.
My take is this: Eren already knew this was going to happen. All the way back since Liberio.
The concept of Paths allowed us to learn that memories and the will of a person can travel throughout it and reach future shifters. But Kruger in chap 89 and Eren in chapter 1 already showed us that those memories can even come from the future. Maybe it's the FT at work, or even an unique treat of the AT holders. But it's possible. So my theory is that somehow when Gabi made that call in Liberio, somehow ( and this is a Big somehow) the future memories of what was gonna happen in chap 119 reached Eren, and that's why he looked shocked and startled in her direction. Not bc of Zeke, but bc of Gabi herself.
Going by this borderline crack theory, the reason Eren kept her close and didn't attempted to dodge is bc when they made eye contact, he already knew what was about to happen. And in preparation for that moment, all it took him when he realised the bullet was about to be fired was to act to prevent his demise. Transfer of consciousness a la Reiner? Maybe some other trick we still don't know about? Perhaps the knowledge that this wouldnt kill him? We wont know until ( hopefully) the next month.
I'm aware there are not holes, but craters into this reasoning, and that the only thing that holds it together are vague assumptions about the workings of Paths. But even so, this is at least a possible explanation about that weird panel in chap 102 beyond mere foreshadowing, and even between the similarities of the two panels I just discussed.
Feel free to rip this to shreds tho lmao.
