Jamie Foxx and and his mentee Sela Vave have been hanging out heavy since it's reported breakup from Katie Holmes, but Jamie denies there's anything romantic. More inside...

  Despite shooting down dating rumors, Jamie Foxx and aspiring entertainer Sela Vave are still hanging out together, sparking dating rumors. The two were seen hanging out at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off on Saturday after holding hands on the LA scene a few weeks ago. If you haven't heard, Jamie and his former girlfriend Katie Holmes called it quits after dating for six years. They tried to keep their relationship on the low. It seems like as soon as they started being more open about their coupledom, they broke up.

21-year-old Sela Vave was spotted walking through the event with the 51-year-old actor/singer/comedian. The "Shazam" host also brought his daughter Annalise Bishop and a few of her friends along for the fun:

After having a ball at the Chili Cook Off, Jamie and Sela traveled to Atlanta to attend Ludacris' annual Celeb Basketball Game on Sunday, Sept. 1st. Oh? Hmm...traveled from LA to ATL together. They didn't post any pics together, but they both posted on social media from the event.

  Spending so much time with a young, pretty, aspiring star sparked dating rumors, but Jamie says that's farthest from the truth. During an interview with radio host Big Boy, the 51-year-old actor denied dating the 21-year-old, despite how much time they have been spending together lately.

  "People are saying I'm dating the girl. Let me just say this, that's absolutely not true!" he said. "That girl hangs out with my kids. My young daughter loves her, my oldest daughter loves her... I talk to her mom, her parents... I know the nature of the business that we're in, so I don't trip on headlines, you know what I'm saying? I don't trip on that."

He continued,

"When it comes to that part and the girl and her and what I'm trying to do for her as an artist, I feel like I have to be an elder," he said. "Her 'uncle,' as she calls me and step in and say, 'Hey guys, don't let it be the double standard.' When all these other guys are on the couch, they are hustling and they had dreams. When she's working in this capacity, all of a sudden she's some sort of... I'll say the nice word... using someone to get to the top. And I don't get down like that."

"I got a 25-year-old daughter and I don't date in my daughter's range... ever!" he said.
