You meet when he throws a football at your head on purpose and laughs at you with his friends. Then, he privately apologizes, and if you want to progress with his romance you have to say it's fine. If you press him too hard too early about maybe not being an asshole and a bully, he gets defensive and the romance/friendship path ends. If you don't want to make out with him after a football game (before any real development happens) it ends the romance. Basically, you have to put up with him being an asshole and honestly kind of shallow at first. He does have pressure from his dad to perform well at football I think but like. Does not excuse him being a major jackass. All the other romances in the game are better.

Marco is a character you can match with on the Lovelink app, which is a dating chat simulator - you play a pretend version of tinder/grindr to meet matches and when you match with someone, they chat with you and then disappear for a while (you can pay premium currency to speed it up) Marco... you can match with this character, but they are actually on the app to try to help out their single best friend, Taylor. But, even though Marco is on the app to be a wingman for Taylor, the character mostly chats with Marco. Eventually, the player meets up with Taylor for a date, and Taylor says he's actually in love with Marco's fiance, Sally! Like, not only that but it's obvious that Sally might feel some sort of way for Taylor too. And also, Marco gets jealous when the player goes on the date with Taylor which HE arranged. Everyone here sucksssssss. Disaster. Trainwreck. Marco and Sally have been dating for 10 years and the relationship is dead but neither one will do the hard part of breaking up. Taylor and Sally have some sort of un-acted upon mutual feelings for each other and the MC is here, getting into this love square mess, even when they try to get out of it, Marco wants to keep chatting "as friends!" MESSY. This route meanders on and on for a bit, with the player eventually somehow getting an invitation to Marco and Sally's wedding, SCREAMING. What a man!!! Inviting the girl he wishes he had to his actual WEDDING.

Fra i suoi spettacoli teatrali si possono citare Coppia d'assi (con Giacobazzi) e lo spettacolo di monologhi Vernice fresca. Pagliari è anche noto come cronista di incontri di football americano. Nel 2008 è il protagonista della sit-com "Casa Pizzocchi", in onda su Tele1, ambientata in una casa nelle valli di Comacchio e con Duilio Pizzocchi, Andrea Poltronieri, Marco Dondarini ed Andrea Vasumi.

Al cinema ha recitato in vari film: Consigli per gli acquisti di Sandro Baldoni (1997), Baciato dalla fortuna di Paolo Costella (2011), All'ultima spiaggia di Gianluca Ansanelli (2012), Volevo nascondermi di Giorgio Diritti (2020) e Va bene così di Francesco Marioni (2021).

Nel 2020 ha pubblicato per Pendragon un libro di racconti dal titolo Fuori scena. Risate a sipario chiuso.

Conduce dal 2005 con Giacobazzi un programma radiofonico, Il Manicomico, che va in onda tutti i giorni su Radio Italia Anni 60 Emilia Romagna.

 La formula della serata è quella delle cene a base di “risate da paura” in locali storici di Las Vegas sullo Strip come il Comedy Club.

Dietro alla rassegna c’è come sempre la mente creativa vulcanica di Ice Ferri, ideatore dell’hotel e delle attività che si svolgono all’interno della struttura inaugurata il 31 ottobre 2022. Particolare anche la proposta culinaria che gira intorno alla passione di Ice Ferri per il tartufo. Il tartufo è infatti alla base dei menù  che saranno proposti durate le serate. Tartufi che provengono direttamente dalla tartufaia di Ice e che a Los Angeles, dove vive, lo hanno fatto conoscere, con il suo ristorante a Pacific Palisades a gente del jet set hollywoodiano, modaiolo (Calvin Klein è un abituèe) e a rock star come Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) o Metallica.

What I Wish Had Happened

This is what I wish had happened at the end of that last Marco/Hugo update. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of how their story has been going, and I’m entirely sick of the Sally situation, so my mind kind of wandered and this was the result. 

Pairing: Marco/Hugo x Reader

Word Count: 1.4k

Sally turned to you, eyes bright and expectant after asking you to be in her bridal party. You were taken aback and had no idea how to respond. How could you? This was not going to plan at all. You were hoping this would be the day that Marco finally admitted that you were the one he was meant to be with… but now the wedding was back on, Sally hadn’t even let Marco finish what he was going to say, and now she expects you to be in the wedding? It was all too much.

You looked at Marco, who was looking back at you, his expression just as shocked as you felt. 

“I...I… can’t,” you said, suddenly feeling like you couldn’t breathe. You got up from the table and quickly walked out the back, needing some air and needing to get away from them. 

You staggered outside, taking deep breaths to get air into your lungs. You felt like you were panicking, like your world was coming crashing down on you. 

“Y/N?” A soft voice that you knew so well came quietly from behind you. You squeezed your eyes shut and took a deep breath, steeling yourself for what you knew you had to do. 

You turned around slowly, your eyes filling with tears. 

You were still breathing heavily and Marco took a concerned step forward, cupping your face in his hands. “Breathe, Y/N, you’re okay. I’m here, just look at me.”

“I can’t,” you choked out, more tears falling.

He wiped them away with his thumb. “Can’t what?”

“I can’t do this anymore, I’m sorry,” you said, pulling away from him. 

He looked dejected, and said, “What do you mean? Y/N, talk to me.”

“I can’t be friends with you and pretend things are fine, and I can’t go on stupid double dates with you and Sally, and I definitely can’t be in your wedding. I’m sorry, I’m done, I have to be,” you said, starting to walk away.

Marco took hold of your wrist, desperately holding you in place. “Y/N, please don’t. I thought we were friends!”

You spun back towards him, your anger spiking. “I never wanted to be your friend! Marco, I am so in love with you, it’s killing me. Have you ever for a second thought of all this from my point of view? You spent so long telling me how awful Sally was, how she never paid attention to you, not the way that I did. Then you told me that you were in love with me. You said that to me, Marco. You told me that you were ending things with her and that you would pick me. You told me we would be together, then you disappeared, and when you came back, you told me you’re still choosing her, but you wanted to keep me in your life. And I was just supposed to be okay with that. Do you have any idea how that felt? Did you even think about what you were putting me through?”

He stared at you, shocked. He looked like you had slapped him. “But.. you and Taylor…”

“It wasn’t real. He thought if we pretended to date, you and Sally would get jealous and realize who you’re really supposed to be with. I’m sorry, I know that was manipulative and messed up, but we were desperate, and it didn’t work anyway, so I guess you don’t have to worry about it anymore.”

“You...what?”

“I know, I’m sorry. Look, Marco, I love you, so I want you to be happy. If Sally really makes you happy, then I’m glad you’re staying with her. But I can’t keep waiting around and hoping that someday you’ll pick me. It hurts too much. And I can’t stand there and watch you marry her. So, I have to go.”

He looked like he was about to cry now. He reached out for your hand and you reluctantly let him take it. “Don’t go, Y/N, please.”

You pressed a hand to his cheek, studying his face for the last time. Tears welled in your eyes again and you blinked them away. “Bye, Marco,” you said with a sad smile before turning away and not looking back.

Weeks passed. Marco had texted and called a few times, which you left unanswered. You were doing your best to move on, but it wasn’t easy. You felt like a part of you would always love him. 

Your phone pinged one Saturday night when you were chilling at home. You sighed when you saw that it was Marco. You opened the text just so he would see that you were deliberately ignoring him. The texts kept coming though. 

Hey, Y/N.

You’re really gonna leave me on read again?

Okay, I deserve that. I understand that you don’t want to talk to me, but will you at least read until the end? I have some things I want to say to you, and I guess this is the only way. If you still don’t respond… I guess that’s my answer. 

First of all, I’m so sorry for what I put you through. You’re right, I wasn’t thinking of you when I chose to stay with Sally. I thought it would be easy and safe with her, and I was being selfish and stupid, especially when I just expected you to be my friend like nothing had happened, after everything I had said to you. I am so truly sorry, Y/N. 

The truth is, I’ve never felt as strongly about anyone as I do about you, and that scared me. I was scared to start something new and deal with the fallout of ending things with Sally, so I was a coward and you got hurt because of it. I’m not trying to make excuses, it was wrong of me, and I’m so sorry I hurt you so much. 

So… I ended things with her. Finally. Officially. Completely. We’re done, and everyone has been informed the wedding is called off. 

You sat there for a few moments, completely baffled. This is what you had always wanted, but was it too late? He sounded sincere, but how could you be sure he wouldn’t break your heart again? 

I’m so sorry it took me so long, but if you’ll let me, I want to spend the rest of our lives making it up to you. I love you, Y/N. I love you so much. I would love another chance, if that’s still what you want. 

Whatever you choose...just, be happy, okay? You deserve the world, Y/N. I want you to be so happy, even if it's not with me.

You took quite some time thinking everything over, knowing that you were still in love with him, and knowing that you had to go see him. 

A few hours after his last text had come in, you were knocking on Marco’s door. He opened the door quickly and looked shocked but happy to see you. “Y/N?”

“Hey,” you said tentatively. 

“Come in,” he said, moving into the living room. You walked in, staying standing and staring at him, not sure what to do. “So, I guess you saw my texts,” he said, sounding nervous. 

You nodded your head, unable to take your eyes from him. “You meant it?”

He took a step closer to you, so he was only a few paces away. “Yes, of course. All of it.”

“You ended it?”

“I did.”

“And she knows?”

He laughed humorlessly. “She knows. Everyone knows.”

“And you...love me?”

His eyes softened and he looked like he wanted to reach for you, but thought better of it. “Of course I do. I love you so much, Y/N.”

“You want to be with me… for real this time?”

“I really do,” he said, cautiously taking a step closer. 

You felt tears prick at your eyes again. “Please don’t break my heart again,” you whispered.

He looked like he wanted to cry too, and he took your hands in his, looking at you with such love in his eyes. “I won’t. I swear I won’t, I’m so sorry.”

Finally, you let go of your resolve and fell into his arms, burying your face in his neck. He wrapped his arms around you, holding you close. “I love you, Y/N.”

“I love you, too.”
