So about Hugo Hornsby

I know how many people dislike him(and Marco ofc) but if I'm being honest - i don't get all the hate.

For sure, situation we get ourself into as a main character is sick, really terrible. All the emotional draining, manipulation, not being sure what is happening behind the door. At that point - everybody was a villain - us, Tylor, Sally and Hugo. I think that team writing this story did a great job at showing confusion of emotions. Hugo liked us, we knew it - but of course - he had a fianceé. And I adore this story - couse' it showed really great example of emotional cheating - BOTH - From Sally and Hugo. We kinda forgotten how terrible she was, much more open in her cheating.

I think I like Hugo, couse' I can see his motives - he's morally gray in really interesting way. He himself is a really nice, cute guy, but act anxious and scared when it comes to his own value. His "arc" in a way, is all about selfvalue, selfcomfidance and selflove and Im here for it. His decisions make sense if we read his backstory. An lonely nerd, without people around - he meets his best friend Tylor - the only person who gets him and then he meets Sally, he really describe their relationship as not equel. He thought that she was too cool, too good and too pretty for him. He treated her as some sort of treasure he connot give up on, couse' that would again means he's the looser he was before.

Then he meets us. A person genuine and quite straightforward about feelings. He fells in love but it's wrong. Sick. So he tried to escape the situation. The main reason od his actions is BEING SCARED. That's the point he's really insecure and scared. He cannot give up on Sally, she's the only thing he knows in romance field.

I hated him when he cuts us off, decited to go with the wedding, treated us as his plan B. But i get that, that makes sense im his character building. He acts selfish as a defense.

I don't thinks he's perfect. But he proven to be a decent man with strong feelings for MC. And we cannot look at him without thinking about his past actions and I think that's great. I like when character makes me feel emotions- i feel more invested then.

I only dont get the Tylor thing - why ??? It does not make sense that he suddenly, after 10 years of being im love with Sally, loves our MC. It's messy.

I don't think anyone read it, but still thank you. I wanted to get it out of myself.

There are so many of them stuck in grey, it's NO DAMN SURPRISE I don't see anyone talking about this game anymore. Lovelink was never perfect but at least it had somewhat of a community. Now it's dead like 96% of your matches lmao.

So what's with all the poly relationships/threesomes popping up in the lovelink routes?

I generally prefer monogamous relationships, but,

I don't mind if it make sense with the route like with Blake/Keanu.

But Jonathan/Albert? Min-jae/..the other one (can't remember the alternate, ☠️). It was really jarring since there was no indication of Jonathan being interested in a three-way.

Can't I just have my soldier to myself!?😭😭😭

I wish they would have a very clear 'I'm not into that option' for people who aren't into it.

Or make a separate route that is clearly polygamous, not just add it on to existing routes.
