The L/N clan, known by the Bami clan as their enemies, was nothing more than a simplified version of them. While the Bami Clan had separate branches for a variety of areas, the L/N Clan depended on a single heir. The heir was picked in each generation through a ritual. The ritual would be done on each child in order to make it fair. The child chosen would be called the Superior and the others would get to be normal.

With the newest generation, Y/N had been chosen to be the Superior. She had heard about the Superior’s training. It was extremely rigorous and an arduous process. Her curriculum differed from everyone else’s, with more subjects. The textbooks grew heavier with each passing year. However, she had been conditioned to take in all this knowledge and keep it with her. Once, she had asked what was the purpose of all this.

“In case you are ever forced into something, you have what you need.”

She didn’t understand. Years later, she’d be entering the prestigious Hyakkaou Academy. She already knew the reputation of this school and how to gain it. Through gambling, she’d make a place for herself, only to be safe. She knew that as long as she was safe in this school, she could continue her studies. What she hadn’t known was that she entered right as the school was in pandemonium with an election. Somehow, the second she walked in, she could sense more than that in the air.

Terano had been wheeled past her, her eyes closed as she strategized her next move against Kirari. But something lured her into turning around. When she whipped her head around, she saw her enemy standing there with a blank face and curious eyes. This was the girl that her family had said needed to be eliminated on the spot. The entire clan agreed to set aside their differences when the time came to eradicate her. “You.”

Y/N tilted her head. “I’m sorry, I don’t know who you are.”

“Don’t act stupid. You know exactly who I am.” Terano had no patience for her, she needed to warn the others. If Y/N was here, it meant that everything they had ever worked for would come crashing down around them. “You’re the one taking everything from us.”

“I’m not sure how that’s possible, I have been studying all this time. If you’ll excuse me.”

That was how future interactions went with the Bami Clan. Terano had notified the rest of them that she was here. Tension ran amidst the clan and it was not, for the first time, directed at one another. They needed to get rid of her quickly. The first person to try was Miyo. She had tried to subtly poison Y/N, just like she had with Yumeko. But Y/N raised an eyebrow at her, sniffed, and said, “You have poison on you right now. Please do not get near me.”

The next person to attempt was Rin. He had asked her to gamble, but she declined, reading her book. When he looked at the cover, it was something about philosophy. Her, reading about morals? That was impossible. He asked one more time and Y/N sighed. “No, thank you. I will not gamble with you. I am asking you to leave.”

It was a fruitless attempt each time. The clan members were all getting paranoid and twitchy, thinking that at any moment, she might poison them or manipulate them into handing over their heirship. The rest of the school could see how they bristled at the sight of Y/N, who hadn’t done anything wrong. In fact, she was staying right in the middle of the pack, almost under the radar but not enough so that the clan wouldn’t detect her. She found out what was wrong and why the clan hated her so much, not to mention piecing together the reason as to the ritual. She was the person that could defeat them with a single blow. They were terrified of that. If she stood up to them and helped out the school, they would have no choice but to back down.

Kirari had said that she’d take care of things. This was why she had Y/N right in front of her. “You and I have some things to talk about.”

“Really? I don’t recall doing anything wrong.”

“Our families are in dispute. You are more than capable of destroying our family. We are here to--”

Y/N let out a long, loud sigh of exasperation. She had set her bag down on the floor, crossing her arms as she leaned back against her chair. “Let me put this in a language you all can understand, because I know this message will be passed along. I. Do. Not. Care.”

Kirari blinked. The words were rude, but the tone was something different. She didn’t care about the family dispute? Or was it that she didn’t care about Kirari’s words? “Listen to me--”

“No, you listen to me. Your family has been trying to get me to do things that I don’t want to do. Miyo tried to poison me, Rin tried to get me to gamble and I’ve heard enough things about him, Terano attempted to coerce me into handing over a property of mine, everyone has tried to eliminate me or get me out of this school. I don’t care about the dispute. Frankly, I don’t care about the election either, I don’t want to be president.”

“Are you aware that you’re something of a martyr to the other students?”

Scoffing, she uncrossed her arms and leaned forward. “I’m not dead yet. I have not been swallowed or devoured in your aquarium of torture. They are putting their faith in the wrong person because I don’t care about this rivalry. Future generations can continue, but for me? I don’t plan on standing against you guys. Do what you want. Just let me study, it’s hard enough to get some quiet around here and I have to deal with interruptions?’ Y/N stood up and grabbed her bag, making her way out before she turned around. “By the way, your best strategy against Terano is not what you think it is.”

Kirari sat down, before getting back up to go to her aquarium. There, she saw an isolated fish wandering around. The other fish seemed to move away from it, some daring to get close before darting off once more. No matter how many times this happened, the fish didn’t do anything. It was docile, seemingly indifferent to what was happening. Kirari smiled. She was an interesting person, to say the least. She couldn’t wait to see what more she could bring to the table.

What about a headcanon with everyone in Hyakkaou Private Academy having a sleepover at their friend’s house for the weekend? In which they have pillow fights, playing truth or dare, eating s'mores, of course includes watching a scary movie.

♥ NOTE: Oh this one is a lot, I'm gonna include everyone in this but it's everyone together at a sleepover

Are you the MC of an otome game? Because that's what everyone's thinking when they see the most powerful people following you around as if you were royalty and they were your knights

The day you even remotely hint at a sleepover, all of them are fighting to ensure that they get an invitation, only to realize that they would actually have to get along with their enemies

The sleepover happens on a Friday and the first ones to arrive (30 minutes early) are Yumeko, dragging Mary along happily; right on time are Kirari and Sayaka, mainly because Sayaka had to tell Kirari that they had to be there on time and the rest come at scattered times, the last person to arrive being Midari and Yuriko has to apologize to you, saying that she tried to take her earlier

Everyone’s in their pajamas and they’re super weary around each other, but they immediately smile at the sight of you

The first thing that everyone decides on is a Mario Kart tournament, Ibara has brought the Wii U and everyone’s taking their own controllers while most of them stand aside, placing bets as to who is going to win

It doesn’t matter who you main, if you steal Rosalina from Runa, she’s going to lose it

Midari is fighting with Rin over the control and his seat next to you, she wants to sit next to you because you’re sitting next to Yumeko (and because you’re there too)

The winner of the tournament, to everyone’s surprise, was Terano; she didn’t even want to play until Yumi shoved the control into her hand

That’s when the snacks started to be passed around as everyone started deciding on a game to play, first it started with Never Have I Ever, but it quickly went downhill

“Never Have I Ever...tried to backflip my way into a pool because my crush was watching.”

Nobody’s hand was raised and that’s when Kirari pointed at Yumemi, “We all know you’re lying. Raise your hand, Yumemi.”

“Kirari, that was one time when I was little!”

But soon it started to become worse, with fights breaking out over what someone did and didn’t do, it’s up to you to suggest Truth or Dare, in which everyone happily agrees

You go first, setting down a bottle that will point at someone and as you spin it, everyone is watching expectantly until it lands on Manyuda: “Truth or dare?”

“Truth.”

“Is it true that you let Itsuki paint all of your nails in neon colors due to the loss of a bet?”

Manyuda’s jaw dropped as he glared at Itsuki, “I swore you to secrecy!”

The rest were letting out roars of laughter, not believing that the most serious member of the party would even remotely lose and certainly not be entitled to a consequence such as that

The bottle keeps going around, the dares getting more dramatic and the truths becoming worse: “I dare you to run down the street in tap shoes while singing an explicit song at the top of your lungs.” “Have you ever thought about dating a milf?” “You have five minutes to write a country song and perform it.” “What is the weirdest status you’ve had on social media?”

It wasn’t until someone got dared to kiss you that everyone froze before there was another uproar, ensuing an incredibly aggressive pillow fight where anyone could’ve had their head chopped off by the deadly speed of a pillow that could’ve felt like rocks

Rolling your eyes, you brought out the s’more kit that you bought for this occasion, yelling, “If all of you don’t calm down, all of these s’mores will now become mine!”

The sheer silence could’ve made you cackle if it wasn’t for them glaring at each other in a lethal manner

You decide to put on a horror movie, knowing that it would at least calm some of them down--until they got terrified

It was a mix up between Midsommar, Hereditary, and some other movie that Miyo suggested (everyone instantly shot down Miyo’s idea because they did not trust her and were positive she would traumatize them)

They were the ones that chose those three, so the popular vote got to pick the movie

Not even halfway through the movie, they were all either cowering behind someone else, putting on a brave face, jaw dropped, or they were munching on their s’mores

The ones who openly screamed at some point were Mary and Sayaka, this movie was horrifying, how could anyone watch it?

Sumika, as an actress, watched the movie and hummed in appreciation for the special effects and everything else; she studied films a lot and she would be damned if she didn’t study this one

Once the movie was over, you toppled something over and literally everyone became a choir of shrieking, terrified individuals; you’re pretty sure they’re all traumatized

Miroslava suggests a Disney movie next and you make her choose because everyone else seemed too frozen to even speak; she chose Wall-E

The movie seemed to calm them down, even getting to the point where they were sleepy

Rei wanted to help you out with cleaning up, so she did as the movie was watching but you insisted in her sitting down and watching the movie

Once it was over, someone shouted, “Another!”

Cue the Disney princess movie marathon as well as the karaoke of songs that came from them

At around 4 am, they were all sleeping as a movie played in the background; they were a lot more peaceful, especially since they were in your presence

Your presence calmed them immensely and they couldn’t be happier about being at a sleepover with you, even if it meant getting along with people they didn’t like

Backhugs aren’t really backhugs with her because she gets so excited about you being there with her that she turns and spins you around

Do this a lot, she enjoys your hugs, no matter what way you give them to her

━ RIRIKA MOMOBAMI ;

Ririka is red faced and she hides her face in her hands

She isn’t exactly embarrassed, but she didn’t expect it and she’s just worried that she’s doing something wrong so please reassure her that she’s not doing anything wrong

Tell her some compliments while you’re hugging her from behind and she automatically melts into you

She loves your backhugs a lot and she’s definitely the little spoon so please hug her from behind as much as you can, it’s the best thing for her and she fully expects you to hug her from behind more often

Tell her you love her while hugging her, she would probably pass away right then and there

Definitely is the favorite boyfriend, dear god, you bring him and everyone's like OMG IT'S IBARA LET'S GOOOOOOO

He loves arriving every time because he's always welcomed by the tios, tias and primos, everyone literally loves him so much

He's the kind of guy to show up and all of the older cousins just go AYYY QUE ONDA VATO while doing the hug thing boys do when they smack each other's backs

The kids love him and he loves the kids, they especially love how he will occasionally arm wrestle them and purposefully lets them win

Sorry, he's not your boyfriend anymore, you're sharing him with everyone because everyone wants to spend time with this man

He knows how to dance to all the latin genres. this is canon now, he can do a mean bachata and cumbia, but he’s actually so good with merengue like man takes you into his arms and bam, everyone’s jealous of both of you and how well you dance

Helps the tias with the food

Eats a lot of everything, he loves the tamales de pollo, i guarantee it

His favorite songs are La Dueña del Swing, Lambada (the original version), and Suavemente, he just dances to all of these with you

He likes talking with the babies, he's so nice to them

I bet he’s a fan of Enrique Iglesias and probably listens to his songs a lot; Cuando Me Enamoro, Donde Estan Corazon?, and No Me Digas Que No are on his top tracks because he thinks about you when he listens to these songs

At first, the family thought that he would break your heart but by the end of the day, he actually loves these reunions a lot and they are all harboring a secret soft spot for him

This girl is a threat, everyone loves her because of how lively she is

The older cousins also love her a lot and make her join their card games all the time; you're gonna have to tell her that no, she cannot gamble with them because they will go broke because of her

She flatters the tias so much, they all love her dearly and they constantly ask you to bring her around

The younger cousins LOVE playing with her and she’s the one that amuses them; plays hide and seek with them a lot and she can see them but she pretends as though she can’t

Girl could give a run for their money when it comes to dancing, the other couples could never

She’s dancing bachata, cumbia, merengue, and salsa with you and no matter what your dancing level is, she ALWAYS makes you look good with her

Her hair is so long and the tias all want to practice hairstyles on her; she patiently lets them and says something like, “Oh, I look so good in this hairstyle! Thank you so much!”

When it’s time to play the loteria, somehow, she’s beating everyone in each and every round

Cue to her shouting “LOTERIA” very excitedly and everyone’s like “nombre niña, estas bien loca”

Bring her around for every family reunion, she’s suddenly part of the family and everyone is expecting your wedding now

━ MIDARI IKISHIMA ;

She terrifies the younger cousins and the older cousins are like “WOW YOU’RE SO COOL JOIN US”

Probably dances hardcore to reggaeton, like she knows how to dance to it and it’s impressive if it wasn’t for the fact that she’s half tempted to dance reggaeton on the brick wall

Takes three plates at a time and somehow balances the paper plates with no problem, it’s a talent and unfortunately, she will not share her food with you because everything smells good and she’s going to try everything

She’s a great storyteller so the kids are in fits of giggles and wonder by the end of her tall tale, then they think she’s not that scary anymore and drag her to play with them against her own will

Oh god, if there’s a piñata, she is DEMOLISHING it, this is why everyone places her at the back because she’s not going to give anyone else a chance

Doesn’t even care about the candy, but she probably takes a lollipop or two to take to Runa

The tios think she’s cool so they ask for her to come around more but trust me, she scares the daylights out of the tias so they are not too eager for her to come back

She is having the TIME OF HER LIFE

She thinks that your family is so much fun, because everyone’s all over the place but everyone joins in with the others

Definitely plays pool with the guys and she ends up beating them all; hence for the rest of the party, all of them try to defeat her but none of them can

Eats so much and she’s pouring all the compliments onto the tias and they’re actually bonding over her nails and how cute they are

Cut to you going to the bathroom for a few moments and when you come back, they’re gossiping about some major drama happening between a CEO of some company and one of Itsuki’s father’s employees

When it’s time to go dance, she is dancing with reckless abandon with you

Probably knows the song Lamento Boliviano, requests it and when it’s on, she’s jumping up and down with you, screaming the lyrics at the top of her lungs

Listens to Pitbull, I’m not hearing any criticism, probably requests him too so that she’s bouncing around the dance floor, screaming the lyrics at the top of her lungs

When it comes to the pan con cafe and there’s a lot of it, she’s probably stealing a slice of the tres leches and a bunch of conchas and other sweet bread, she’s gotta have a taste for everything

Dips some of her bread in coffee because you tell her it’s good like that, it’s become her favorite snack now, she’ll definitely take more sweet bread home so that she can dip them in coffee

You gossip with her about the beef you have with some of your primas and she’s like O_O while looking at said person

She cannot keep it on the downlow, but she’s so much fun to gossip with

When you said carne asada, she assumed a family reunion and she didn’t get dressed up but when she walked in, she saw how underdressed she was compared to everyone else

She’s so embarrassed, poor girl, she wants to go home and change immediately

Mary is so awkward at first, she doesn’t know what to do so she sits on the sofa the whole time until one of the bolder cousins walks over to talk to her and eventually, she’s engaged in conversation with the others

The primos are cool with her and the primas are asking her what’s her skincare routine as well as what she does with her hair

You have to smack a drink out of her hand because it was an abandoned alcoholic drink

Mary sees the ring that the older primos have made where they’re chanting drunkenly while forcing someone to be in the middle of the circle dancing, she is terrified

She does a simple two step dance with you but when she sees the others dancing bachata at a speed unknown to man, she literally says, “Teach me how to dance to that.”

Records videos of you dancing with a family friend’s son, cackling while you look lost and confused

She eats a lot of the food, definitely likes the sweet stuff

Oh God, she takes one bite of the tres leches, you turn away and suddenly she’s back with the entire tray and everyone is too drunk or immersed in whatever they’re doing to catch her

Takes the tray home, she won’t share unfortunately

She loves your family, they may be a little overboard but they are a lot of fun

━ KIRARI MOMOBAMI ;

She’s hesitant at first because she’s scared that your family will think that she’s a monster or she’s going to drive you away or something on that line because of her status

Turns out, none of them know her, they’re all just secretly judging her so that they see if she will gain their approval or not

But the first people that interact with her are the kids, mainly because they see her hairstyle and think that it’s really pretty

The most drunk tio goes over to her and just slurs out, “Have you ever seen a tree?”

“Yes.”

“Have you seen two trees? One of them’s always gotta be leaning to the right.”

Kirari does not understand a word he says but you’re howling with laughter at how confused she looks and how this uncle is always the one trying to give advice but sounding absolutely out of his mind

If there are goodie bags, she takes five of them. No, they are not for anyone but her.

She’s definitely involved with the chisme, she’s always saying stuff that happens at her school

Kirari: And so, the girl ended up going back to her ex--

The tias: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

She has a lot of fun watching your family have fun but she does dance with you at some point

She doesn’t even realize what time it is, but it’s midnight when she checks and yet the party is still going strong which makes her worry: “When does the party end?”

A bunch of primos are running past, yelling about how the sad songs haven’t come up yet; she’s slightly concerned but more amused

She’s another one that’s really shy about being there because she doesn’t think that she should be there since it’s a family reunion

You assure her that “a bunch of my older cousins are gonna arrive with their own significant others”

When she gets there, she finds out that there’s a running joke about the significant others being in a club about not being “officially” part of the family

The tias dote on her so much and they’re like “ay que linda es!! es tan bonita!!”

She has to endure them asking about her hair and what she puts in it because it’s so healthy; also has to deal with the tias trying to put her hair into different hairstyles

She’s determined not to sit around so she timidly asks if she can help with anything; cue her actually enjoying her time with the tias as they serve food

Says that it’s the best food she’s tasted in a while (secretly thinks it’s because it’s homemade with love and she’s had food that was not made with the same kind of love)

When she goes home, she immediately asks you if she can go to more of your family reunions

They might have been very rowdy but they actually acted like the family that she wished she had

Automatically, when she walks in, everyone can already see that she’s so good to you so it’s funny when everyone immediately treats her like family and she’s like ???? I don’t know any of you ????

The tias ADORE her, they think she’s so fun

“Eres la secretaria de la presidenta?” They are so impressed by her being Kirari’s secretary and they are asking if she has any beef with anyone

Poor Sayaka gets caught up with the drunk tios offering advice and money to which you literally tell her, “Tell them whatever, just get that money.”

The kids think that she’s so pretty and the youngest cousin actually asks her, “Are you a princess?”

She gets her hair braided by the drunk tias that are ranting about men and especially their ex husbands, she gets all the chisme and you're shaking her to tell you because your aunts won't even tell you the time of the day

Goes to a room and finds a sleeping baby there and she's like, "Why is there a whole child here?"

Probably can do a little two step but she isn't as crazy as the others

She really likes being there, your family is welcoming but damn, the drama going on is better than the one at school

━ RUNA YOMOZUKI ;

She’s so much fun, she fits right in at the party to the point where you doubt if she doesn’t have some latin blood in her

The second she walks in, she’s greeting everyone like they’re old friends even though none of them know her but they’re greeting back eagerly, she even goes up to the shyest person and eagerly says hi to them

A menace when it comes to dancing, she steps on your feet and she also dances with other people, she’s just a chaotic mess when dancing but she’s trying and that’s what matters

The food is incredible to her, but the sweets are even better; she steals so many bags of chips and shoves them in her bag as she tries more of the sweets

The cake is Mil Hojas and with one slice, she’s already in love with this cake, says yes automatically when your aunt offers her more cake

Nah because she's a menace at video games, she plays with your primos and beats every single one of them

Has made some children cry when she wins and she doesn't even flinch, she just eats another lollipop

Enjoys the parties and if she could (probably will), she'd drag the entire student council with her

At first, she wanted to bring Miri along because of what you had told her about the party, but that’s when you shook your head frantically, saying that it was better for Miyo to get a taste of the party herself

The invitation said 3 pm, but you said to wait until 4 pm to get there; she didn’t understand why

“If we get there at 3, no one else is going to be there and they’re going to ask us to help with the food when we’re literally their guests, don’t worry about it.”

Her makeup is on point and she carries herself like a princess, but she falters when she’s greeted by everyone

Since this is the first time that she has ever been to a party hosted by your family, she’s really awkward but she does see how everyone else treats that one boyfriend that has been here tons of times; it’s her goal to become as well liked as him

The tias are offering her many plates of food and to be polite, she takes multiple but at the end of the day, she actually finishes all of them because the food is incredible

When you tell her that it’s tradition to take the centerpiece, she’s troubled for a second up until she sees you pulling out a large bag from inside your smaller bag so that you can take as many centerpieces as possible

The entire family sees her with you and they’re like :O

All you gotta say is that unlike them, you actually have a girlfriend and they’ll be an emotional wreck

When the quinceañera dances with the dad to that first song, you can see her with tears in her eyes

When you tell Sumika what she means, she quietly says that she’ll do that when you two get married and then she leaves you flustered but she’s so calm about it

The primos are all asking, “And how much did they pay you to be here?”

“Nothing. I came with them because I wanted to see their family.”

She has had movies take place in Latin America, so she knows how to dance to every single genre there is; trust me when I say that, no matter how hard you try, you cannot possibly look bad with her as your dance partner

She’s really smart, so she catches on sign language quickly and she even asks you to teach her some stuff because she knows that she’ll never be an expert

If you don’t communicate in sign language, she communicates with you in other ways

You two have a secret thing that lets her know that you want her attention; it’s something subtle but noticeable between the both of you when you want Rei’s attention specifically

She has a specific ringtone that lets her know you have messaged her, she knows that it's one of the ways you both can communicate well, even if it's not face to face

Rei is honestly super supportive and knows what to do to interact with you so that you don't feel alone

━ IBARA OBAMI ;

Ibara definitely asks Google and you questions about everything he should know so that he doesn't do anything wrong

If you don’t feel like signing anything and you don’t have anything to write on, he probably has some with him; one can never be too prepared according to him

His texts with you are so contagious, he always types in capital letters and loves when you do too because it shows the emotions that you're really having

He learns of a few gestures that you make for specific things that no one else does, and he kind of picks up on that too; he finds himself doing gestures that you do sometimes with you, it's endearing

Always has his attention on you, it's impossible for you to try and capture his attention when you already have it when you're in his proximity

Ibara does his absolute best to communicate with you and is always open to learning new things that come directly from you

━ RIN OBAMI ;

Rin has studied about this so he knows sign language and other forms of non verbal communication so that both of you can talk without words

Sometimes he won't even verbally speak to you because he doesn't have the energy, but he still wants to communicate with you

Like Ibara, he always has a notebook and pen with him in case you want to write things down, he never leaves without a notepad and pen

He slowly learns some things that you do when you're answering yes or no questions, especially if they're not common and suited specifically for you

If it's more convenient for you to text stuff to him, he'll have a ringtone that is reserved for you only so that he knows to check his phone immediately

Makes sure that if necessary, he'll talk for you, but also knows that you are capable of doing things on your own

He's always there for you and doing everything in his power to be able to communicate with you properly

━ MIYO INBAMI ;

Miyo tends to find smaller ways to create your own language because since you're mute, the classic way to go about it is sign language, right? Wrong! Miyo is teaching you a new language that does not require you to talk

She already has experience in creating a brand new language; after all, that’s the way that she and Miri interact without saying anything out loud to one another

Miyo really wants you to learn this language so you don't count on sign language and you two can have your own little conversations without anyone noticing

Of course, she still knows sign language in case she needs to include it in the lexicon

She carries stuff around with her that's for you to write your messages on so that people know what you're saying

At random times though, she'll sometimes test you on that new language so you will be learning that with her or she will die trying

Isn't against Miri also teaching you

Please show her some gestures of yours that you use to show some things, she wants to learn about how you communicate certain stuff to others

She also incorporates those gestures in her everyday life sometimes, it's unconsciously and you won't notice it until she's deep in conversation

Miyo knows that you cannot talk, however, that does not mean that you cannot say anything for yourself so Miyo absolutely helps you in the aspect of you sharing your opinions without saying them out loud

At first, she tends to be really impatient with you because this should be logic but then somehow, she realizes that not everyone has been to what she went through when she was young

She tends to go really fast whenever it comes to her assignments too because everything that is being taught was taught to her when she was in third grade

Obviously, since it’s chemistry, it means that you have to do projects and luckily, you end up with Miyo as your partner

She’s exasperated at first because she really wants to get this over with but the teacher said that you both need to work on the project, so the best thing she can do is try and help you understand what is needed to understand

Her notes aren’t aesthetic, but they are neat and serve their purpose; she expects you to write them all down and study them that night so that you’re at least good with the basics

After a while, she realizes that you’re actually trying and she softens slightly by not going quickly and instead explaining step by step what she is doing plus what effects it has

While everyone else is struggling, you two are doing everything well

If she tells you to grab something, grab it immediately because she will not ask twice and she will start getting exasperated if she has to grab it herself

Sometimes, she’ll do her own thing because the book is wrong and she knows more since she’s been in pharmaceutics all her life

You two end up getting a good grade because of her and she says that it’s because you were listening to her

It was really late, almost 2 am and the world outside was dark yet calm, because no one was outside, everyone was sleeping peacefully

Or so she thought, until you had walked into the living room turned into her laboratory

She had gotten an idea for a new chemical that she wanted to test out so she got out of bed to test it, hoping you wouldn't wake up but alas, her hope was futile because you could sense her not in bed with you

You can see that Miyo has dark bags under her eyes, meaning this was not the first time she got up at an ungodly hour and didn't go back to sleep

She ushers you to go back to sleep but you shake your head and say, "You look tired. How long have you been working on this?"

The silence says everything and you tap her hand, suggesting, "Dance with me."

She didn't expect that but she expected much less for her body to move on its own and before she knew it, she was slow dancing with you--or attempting to slow dance

She knew she couldn't, but she couldn't say no to you; it didn't mean that she wasn't nervous about stepping on your feet and she constantly looked down so that she didn't step on you

You patiently taught her a simple two step that she could follow, then a simple movement that you could practically dance to on a plate

Miyo clung to you, her face buried in your neck while trying to make her feet move the way you taught her to; she was smart so she caught on quickly and also caught on to what you were trying to do

You had single handedly made her take a break without doing much; Miyo was not only impressed, her chest was warm as she continued dancing the night away with you

She has had to learn how to slow dance several times as an actress, and especially since she gets invited to "galas" that always involve a little bit of dancing

So when she asks you to be her date to one of the galas, you wholeheartedly accept, ready to slow dance with her

The night is long yet the time has finally come for the both of you to get on the dance floor, moving in rhythm to the dreamy music playing from afar

Sumika was confident in her skill, but she didn't expect you to be good either; you didn't notice but because of both of your skills had gained the attention of the other individuals in the same room as you

♠️ NOTE: this was fun to write, let’s get going!

The city was quiet during the midnight, hardly any people on the streets and the occasional person with lulling music, perhaps for a special occasion. It was as though it was a dream. But the nighttime not only hid shadows, they hid those who lived within them and used them consistently. Stories were told about the assassins who did not care about anyone and killed with no remorse. They’d even leave signatures on the bodies. Bright red lipstick running down the corpse’s open eyes, a needle carefully placed in the palm of a hand, and more grotesque imagery.

The most famous and dangerous group of assassins was the Bami Clan. All of them were experts in differing areas and they all knew their ways around the shadows. One of the deadliest ones was Miyo Inbami, an assassin who used poison to gain a vision as to what each poison did. This time, she had a mission but unlike the other ones she had, she needed to work with someone else. Someone that she truly detested, even with the amount of rumors centered around them.

“God, Miyo, you’re gonna put a bullet through me and trust me, the last thing your little clan needs is a war against my own.” You raised your hands as you walked towards her on the tall building that you were on.

Her glare was colder than the night breeze nipping at your skin. She had hated you ever since you had stolen multiple of her marks and even waited for her to arrive before tossing a card from a deck at her, immediately leaving. Her marks were hers and you were casually taking them. You hated her because of how utterly pretentious she was. Sure, her style of assassination was not common and perhaps, in a dark way, it was beautiful, but that did not mean you fell over for her attitude. She scoffed as she put her weapon away. “Come to steal another mark from me?”

“Surprisingly, no. I’m here on my own accord.”

Miyo frowned. She could detect a hint of sarcasm behind your words. You definitely were here to steal her mark. “You can leave now.”

You laughed. “Oh Miyo, has no one ever told you that sometimes a simple weapon is faster than poison?”

Her eyes widened as she looked back at her mark, only that the mark wasn’t walking around anymore. He was facedown, a signature knife on his back that was now sprouting into a rose. While she was focused on you, she had failed to notice how fast you moved, even with your hands behind your back. People said you were incredible when it came to throwing knives, seeing as the distance was determined impossible in order to hit someone. You came in and threw all of that away. But out of rage, Miyo grabbed your collar and pointed a syringe at your neck. “I’m so sick of you stealing all my marks, why are you doing this?!”

“It’s not my fault your marks end up as mine!” You hissed, turning your hand and pointing yet another knife at her neck. Your eyes crashed with hers, neither of you wanting to let down.

“I hate you. I hate you so much that I would stuff this syringe into your throat right now and watch your crumble before me.”

“Feeling’s mutual, you would be dead before I even crashed to the ground.”

“Oh, really? Why don’t we test that theory?”

You squinted at her before noticing something on her arm. It was a bright purple spot, too perfectly put to be a mistake from one of her concoctions. “Hey, what’s that?”

“You’re not fooling me. Move anymore and I swear I’ll kill you right now.”

“Your arm. It has a purple spot.”

Miyo looked at her arm for a split second, which gave you access to slap her syringe away from you and kick her in the stomach, causing her to stumble back with a yelp. She was furious with you and you could tell, but you had taken her pistol from her, pointing it at her. “Now, let’s make it clear. I hate your clan. But I am going to give you mercy because you’re being targeted for now.”

“You’re my enemy. That is as though you are giving me pity.”

Tilting your head, you grinned. “Exactly. Good night.”

She caught the pistol you threw at her and something stirred up within her. She could’ve killed you, but you didn’t hesitate on threatening to kill her as well. Both of you were assassins from contradictory traditions. In fact, she had even been told that you were the enemy and when given the chance, to murder you on the spot.

But at seeing you leave, she couldn’t stop herself from a curious smile appearing on her face.

All of them have differing opinions on you and why is that? It’s the way that you act, some think that you’re really nice, whereas others don’t trust you because of that same reason

Let’s start with Yumeko; she doesn’t know why you’re really quiet, but stuff gets put together in her mind once she sees you flipping a coin to make a decision and she doesn’t want to come to conclusions, but now you’ve got her clinging onto you and doing a lot of fun things with you; she ADORES the butterflies and how they swarm you, it’s so beautiful to her

Mary is the complete opposite of Yumeko: she wants nothing to do with you and she doesn’t trust your niceness because in her mind, nice people are the most manipulative so she’ll see you and Yumeko together and turn away; it freaks her out how calm you are even in the worst situations and how you need a coin to make your decisions; in general, she’s going to avoid you, except when the butterflies go to you, she’s curious about them

Kirari loves you and not for the reason you think, she believes that someday you’re going to stir the aquarium in a good way and especially because you can’t make decisions on your own; what would happen if you had no choice, but to choose on your own, she wonders?

Ririka’s afraid of you but also in awe; on one hand, you’re very quiet and you make your own choices based on a coin and not what anyone else has told you; the calmness that you take on no matter the situation makes her want to be slightly more like you but instead, she realizes she'd rather be at your side like the butterflies that follow you

Sayaka likes you a lot, you're quiet yet smart and you don't really try to cause problems for the school because your choices are based upon the outcome of a coin; the butterflies are also really nice, she's occasionally had one land on her finger and as much as she'll deny it she loved it

Manyuda thinks you're suspicious because of the smiles you consistently have, but when he has searched you up on records, you aren't there so he automatically is curious about what's happened; however, you being quiet and basing your decisions around a coin says enough

Sumeragi LOVES you, she just loves the butterflies going around you especially because you're like someone out of a fairytale but also you're a great gambler because you never freak out under pressure; so her biggest question is what would make you break?

Yumemite wants to gamble with you and win because based on what she's seen of you, you could become an excellent idol, but also you're just a good gambler through and through; the coin must mean something and she'll want to see you in action with it

Midari honestly thinks you're not as cracked up as you seem up until she sees you in the middle of a gamble with your coin flipping through your fingers and your butterflies resting on you; you have won without even blinking and suddenly this person is in debt eternally to you, that's when she thinks that you can bring her what she's been wanting

Runa ADORES you and she's constantly asking you stuff about what your coin means and if you've named your butterflies; but she especially loves seeing your gambles, she's already assigned herself to you because you're just so fascinating to watch, she only hopes you don't get eaten in the aquarium

Terano feels as though you can be someone greater if you allowed yourself to be, but she does not say anymore than that because it is not in her position to. She just hopes that someday, you'll realize it on your own

Ibara likes your butterflies a lot, he's very gentle with them but same with you; he never pries about your coin or why you choose stuff with it or even how you grew to mask your emotions; he wants to get notes from you since he can't lie without being hurt so he's hoping you can help him

Rin trusts you to be someone untrustworthy like your butterflies: they seem innocent but are bloodsuckers; while you seem like that too, he still doesn't trust you although he would LOVE to get to know you more, he needs to know about your coin and what it does and how easily you can be swindled

Miyo does not like you, period. She can warm up to you but she doesn't see a point right now since you're just someone else with a sad backstory; you can change her mind by showing her just the tiniest bit of insanity in the middle of a gamble or having your butterflies work to your advantage

Miroslava is studying you constantly, there's no way that you're this quiet, something must have happened in the past; she has cousins that know everyone but no one knows you therefore it is up to her to discover more about you but she's impressed by how calm you seem, especially in a school like the one you're in

Rei likes you from afar because you're, even if you don't show it, free from your feelings and are allowed to openly show them even though the choices you make are decided on a piece of metal; she also likes your butterflies and has a soft spot for the one that looks like her hair clip

Sumika doesn't know how to feel about you exactly because she thinks that you're a great gambler but based on how you act and your body language, something has happened in your past and she does not want to pry, but at the same time, she doesn't want to see you consumed in those emotions

♥ SYNOPSIS: what spending valentine's day would be like with them

♥ NOTE: Here is the final part of the Valentine’s Day event! I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing this!

━ TERANO TOTOBAMI ;

She’s actually going to take you to a library or a bookstore or even a museum of some sort because her love language is quality time, so she thinks that all of this is fine as long as you two are together

Her favorite choice would have to be a museum because she’s so used to the quiet of them and seeing all of these masterpieces that existed in the olden times; some of them even have things you can touch and it’s probably the thing that she likes the most

The museums she chooses are carefully decided on to make sure that they appeal to you and do not bore you quickly; she’ll take you to a museum of comic books or museum of fashion from the olden ages, anything that you like

She will also take you to a bookstore because she thinks that there are some books that you might like that she’ll buy for you; she has a whole list of them that she believes you’d enjoy reading

After all of this, it is your turn to choose where you’re going

She never has anything against the places that you choose because she trusts your tastes and knows that you look out for her just as much as she looks out for you

Sometimes she’ll be pushed out of her comfort zone or the things that she is used to and every outing with you brings her that experience

Before, she never did a lot of things that made her question if she liked it or not, it was more that she was being forced to do things to please others and now she’s able to do things at your side, which she loves

She won’t say it openly, but she does love you and everything that you bring into her life

━ REI BATSUBAMI ;

You’ll have to take her everyone instead of the other way around because she’s so used to not being cared for on this day (or other day) and therefore, she doesn’t exactly know what the difference is for couples on this day

Her hair clip matches that of a dragonfly, so you assume that you likes dragonflies as well as butterflies, which she has gained a quiet fondness for

You take her to a butterfly garden and she is pleasantly surprised in the way that you can see her being taken aback at such a beautiful garden with tons of little butterflies and the occasional dragonfly

She’s drawn to the brighter butterflies and she’ll quietly tell you what their scientific names are and why their wings are so brightly colored

At the gift shop, she ends up buying you a ring with a butterfly on it that’s the same color as her hair clip, saying that now you two can match

It isn’t until you smile at her that she lets out a breath of relief; she was worried that you wouldn’t like the present up until you openly show it to her

She wants to go to a specific restaurant, but doesn’t want to tell you; you end up guessing anyways and taking her there without any hesitation

Once you two have ordered your food and she sees you staring down at the butterfly with love, that’s when she feels something twist internally

While in the first few years of her life she had to be treated as something that wasn’t worthy of attention, you had thrown that out the window and made her feel like she was worth it and these little gifts made it clear that she loved you so much

She continues doing this to show you that she appreciates you more than she will ever say out loud

━ IBARA OBAMI ;

Two words: amusement park.

This man likes to do things big and what’s better than taking the person he loves the most to a place like this?

He likes the area where you have to do a bunch of games in order to get a stuffed animal, he’s always like, “Watch this.” BUT he never actually wins something and he looks so defeated

Meanwhile, you just pick up whatever he has to use and next thing you know, you’ve won one of the massive stuffed animals and handed it to him

Ibara will say that was all planned to cover up but he’s such a bad liar that you can see the pink on his cheeks and he holds onto the plushie so tightly you have to tell him that it’s not going anywhere

He’s not scared at all of the rollercoasters, it’s just the ones that make you go all the way up before it drops that makes him shake in place

If you don’t go with him, he’s not going and if you’re scared of it, he’s going to put on a brave face and both of you are going on it

No one except you both will ever know who was the loud screamer at the top of that ride; it was Ibara, who was praying that he didn’t fly off

Of course you two get matching hats and he buys you matching keychains as well because he thinks they’re just as cute as you

Once the day is over and you’re going home, he plans out in his mind what he’s going to gift you the next day because today was a day of doing stuff, the next would be a day of receiving and you’d be receiving gifts

He truly loves you a lot, he’d do absolutely anything for you

━ RIN OBAMI ;

This man is a secret hopeless romantic, he’s probably the one that has to hide his love for romance movies and anime and just anything involving it because he’s got to keep his reputation as the only male heir in the entire clan

That’s why, when he started going out with you and realized Valentine’s Day was around the corner, he panicked because he did not see enough things for this, he just knew about taking you on dates and stuff but you deserved so much more than only that

And so, with this idea in mind, the weeks before the actual day were spent with him practicing a song on the piano and occasionally you’d come to hear it; he’d make up a lie and say that it was a piece from some famous composer

On the day of, he’s taking you everywhere you want to go, everything you want, he’ll pay for with a black card

Let him spoil you, he’ll buy you so many snacks so that you can both try it and for you to stash away whenever you’re feeling sad, he genuinely just wants this for you

When you get to his place, he pulls out a box of letters that he’s been working on and each one of them is set for a specific mood, like when you’re sad or when you’re angry or something like that

Then he wants you to hear a piece he’s working on and you realize that it’s the same piece he was working on before, only this time it was completed

He turns around and says, “I was thinking about taking you on a date because that’s what all the people in the movies do, but I decided that you deserve more than that, so I made a piece that’s named after you.”

Please give him all the hugs and kisses afterwards, he feels embarrassed but as long as you show him how much you loved it, he’ll always do more for you

━ SUMIKA WARAKUBAMI ;

Expect the royal treatment from her because she is not going to let this day go by without you having the finest of everything and having done everything you want

You want to go to an ice cream shop? She’ll take you to the best one and tell you to get the most expensive one if it’s your favorite flavor. You want to go to the movie theater? Only the best seats for the both of you. You want to go to a concert that’s in another country? Wait for the private jet because it’s coming and you will make it to that concert because of her

If you want to go to a whole other country, you’ve got it. She refuses to let you go into an airport full of people and that way you get your flight slowed down, no, she’s not allowing that, you’re either going on the private jet or else

Once you get to the other country, she has a book that has the best places to see while you’re there and you’re taking her everywhere

She has to hide her identity, obviously, so it’s almost comical to see you with someone who seems as though they refuse to be in public or seen

Anything you want is what you get, she is buying everything you even remotely look at unless you absolutely know that you don’t want something

Obviously she’s going to buy you something that you two can match with: it’s a bracelet with several charms on it

When she’s on television for an interview afterwards, you will always see that bracelet on her wrist as a form of showing that it doesn’t matter where or who she is, she is always thinking of you

Valentine’s Day is truly the best with her, but even without that day, she will always find a way to spoil you because you deserve only the finest things that the world has to offer

━ MIYO INBAMI ;

Those gardens that have tons of flowers are the ones that she really wants to go to, she thinks they’re really pretty and she loves seeing them on the Internet

Only Miri knows her quiet fondness for plants, but especially flowers; she does work with poisons so she knows which plants has these, yet flowers are so much better in her eyes

So on Valentine’s Day, you’re in charge of the date for that day and knowing full well that she wants to visit at least one extravagant flower garden, you take her there as a surprise; the look in her eyes as she saw where she was was one she’d never forget

She could see how organized the flowers were as well as how cared for they were and she completely lost her mind at seeing all of these, telling you which flowers were which and their functions and symbols

She loves flowers so much that you buy her a bouquet too and she has to hide her face because she’s so red

As an exchange for taking her to that place, she takes you wherever you want to go because you just made her the happiest person on the planet and she wants to pay you back

Even though this is a day where couples give each other presents, she doesn’t feel right knowing that it was just her going to a place that she likes so she insists that you choose a place

If it’s somewhere where it seems like you’re going to geek out, she will listen to your rants attentively, writing stuff down that she thinks will be useful in the future

You’re the only person that can see this side of her and she is open to it, she refuses to hide anything from you so that you can see her for who she really is

━ MIROSLAVA HONEBAMI ;

She already has an idea of where she wants to take you on this day, she’s taking you to a cabin up in the mountains where there’s snow so that you can enjoy an actual snow day

Having seen the weather for the next week, she knows that you have to expect snow but it’d be nice to wake up to snow in the cabin where you can also have a warm fire and many snacks and a warm drink

So she takes you up to the cabin and she’s already prepared everything that you like, worried that you won’t like anything that she has done

Tell her that you’re enjoying your time, especially since it’s her, she’s going to be all aloof but the blush across her cheeks says something else

When you’re unpacking, something catches her eye and she’s waving at you to come over; it’s a deer that’s walking across your window, stopping when it spots both of you staring at it

Miroslava truly loves seeing the wildlife in the winter, most of the time they’re either sleeping or enjoying their time in the cold so it’s a magical experience for her

You’re not allowed to strain yourself for her, she’s a really good cook so anything that she makes is going to be amazing even the simplest of drinks

Of course she’s brought a bunch of presents for you, from your favorite candy to a card that she made herself and written a whole love letter inside of it

She does not openly say that she loves you, but all of the things she does for you is enough
