for a kids’ cartoon, this show has got a LOT of different endings. for ANY show, it’s got a lot of different endings! i’m really very curious about which ones other people liked best.

Notes: 

The holiday episodes are listed as their own future because they clearly take place after a lot of summer already happened (Canderemy being an established couple, Heinz & Perry on very good terms, Irving being there). But it’s fall/winter, so summer is over. But it’s not compliant with “Last Day of Summer,” since Heinz is still very much scheming. Hence — alternate future.

With those rules in mind, Candace Against the Universe is still not considered to cause an alternate future here on the grounds that OP believes the joke with Perry’s watch at the end led to another round of Amnesia-inator.

Fun Fact: “Act Your Age” & “OWCA Files” are the only futures here that are reconcilable with “Last Day Of Summer.” I’m not including “Doof 101” in this for two reasons — it would take place directly after LDOS, but Vanessa’s attitude to her father appears different (at least to me), plus there wouldn’t have been time for a whole arrest/hard-time-or-community-service thing to go down. I’m also not including “Quantum Boogaloo” on the grounds that Heinz & Perry in the good timeline give the impression that Heinz never quit evil. Plus, from a Doylist perspective, I don’t believe they would have had Doof-1 create that horrific of an empire if QB had been an episode in later seasons. MML is not LDOS compliant because Heinz is still “evil” when Milo&co meet him (I think - I’ve not watched it).

edit: i’ve now watched MML. heinz is, in fact, no longer evil. he still sets traps for the pizza guy, though. and it is LDOS compliant. idk he’s just like that.

Note: I wrote this in an extremely delirious, sleep deprived state earlier today while editing my picture edit and formatting my Vignette lmao - its just very unhinged rambling through my process I thought some of yall might enjoy, if not feel free to scroll past! Some Thots before I post Vignette #2 of Something There (Here Is Vignette #1): 

- Pleaseeee appreciate the edit - I know it looks simple but MY GOD combing through Pinterest and Cap-that.com was NO JOKE 

- Do yall know HOW RARE IT IS TO HAVE A WOC IN REGENCY CLOTHING MAKING OUT WTH SOMEONE??? MML’s main couples and Kate Sharma paved the way so show them some damn respect 

- Also I went through my S2 trauma for yall looking at the damn screenies; do you know how many times the Ginger Demon popped up before Kathony??? TOOOO MANY 

- And I went through my 5 stages of grief with S2 all over again and was bitching about how they fucked up on which shots to use cos holy shit the editing and shots chosen for the final cut WERE SHIT  

- ANOTHER editing note: So as I’m colour editing/grading my edit, I realise THEY DIDN’T LIGHT HER PROPERLY IN THE GAZEBO SCENE!! Cos colour grading screencaps from that scene came out like shit because they failed to light her and she was wayyy darker than she needed to be for that scene. They did so good in the almost kiss scene?? Whoooo lit her in the gazebo?? I want names! 

Like lighting was not my strong suit in film school but I bet your ass I can light her better. As the only one with my skin tone in my class, I had to experiment around myself to learn how to light Indian girlies, he and theys who share my skin tone. 

- As I finished writing this; I realised I sound insane and that’s cos I stayed up all night and really wanted to put out Vignette #2 asap and with a pretty edit to go with it too. I will be peacing out once the Vignette is posted - enjoy everyone and lmao no pressure to appreciate it I just wanna share it with whoever has enjoyed it or will stumble upon it!!

The fact that Elliot replaces the back of his stop sign with a mirror to point at Milo, for SOME reason

Scott and Mildred having couples therapy

"I'm pretty busy today. *Diogee walks away from him* But my schedule just opened up"

The fact that Elliot, of all people, thought that turning a strong magnet on and not throwing it away from him, would be a good idea.

Street Doof and everything about him

The fact that somehow Doof had time to write a script that entirely consists of the word "bark" written over and over again. This also somehow involved pickled herring.

Get excited for Milo Murphy's Law!!

I know, we have no idea when the show returns (except for sometime in August..?) But that doesn't mean we can't get excited for its return!

Okay, so I think I've come up with a catchy tag to use, #MMLReturn

I'm thinking, to sort of get people excited and involved again with MML after this hiatus, we (collectively) can start an event of sorts!

I'm thinking of a couple ideas...

A)Crossover Fun! -fans can write, draw, edit MML to fit with other shows, (namely Phineas and Ferb, but there are no limits, just keep things PG) I've noticed @sldlovescartoons and several others drawing characters with Pokemon and they are VERY cute!!

B) we could do a countdown-type thing, where each day someone is assigned to draw/write etc. something. Similar to how I've done things in the past (check out the tag mmlnewyear)

C) we could have a week of prompts and people could draw/write/anything you can think of, (musical covers are always cool!)

D)or something else too, I'm open to suggestions.

I hope to hear from you guys about these ideas!! I love getting input. Thanks and have a nice day!

MML/CML Age References

More personal reference stuff, mostly Mahlson focused:

Assuming Orton Mahlson is 25 in 1965, then he was born in 1940.

For this, we’ll assume he has 3 kids in the time between ages 26-47. (gonna use a shared headcanon with @the-adorable-vinnie-dakota for this one)

Odell would be born in ‘67, and the twins Daniella and AJ (Anthony Jr.) are born in ‘86. Making Odell 19/20 when they’re born, while he’s studying abroad.

(Milo is born in 2004, and Sara in 2000. Meaning Elliot is born in 1998. Martin and Brigette were born around 1976-77.)

(which means yes, I am making Martin and Brigette a little older than my initial minimum guess, so they could have been in middle school in the late 80s so Martin’s remark about ‘it was the 80s’ can remain intact.)

Daniella marries an as of yet unnamed character (who takes her last name), and has David Mahlson in 2016, at age 30.

David is 13 when he’s friends with Chance Murphy who would be age 12, born in 2017.

At this point in time it’s 2029. It’s still 102 years until Anthony will be/would have been born. Orton is pushing into his 90s at this point.

Daniel Block is born in 2133, and Dakota is born 8 years later in 2141.

Cavendish was born 18 years prior to Dakota, in 2123. (unless we assume that there’s just an 18 year difference between them, and Cavendish really is from the 1870s and only ended up in the future after a mishap with an abandoned time machine.)

aside from Milo/Melissa being my notp (but as platonic friends they’re my brotp)

Mrs. Murawski/desk is, for obvious reasons, the only possible ship for her XD (I do love a good cargo ship :P)
