Just got an update from the drive team in New Hampshire. Robot broke. Other pit crew is talking to human player:

“(Human Player) said there was a mini explosion inside the robot but everything’s okay and they will have cake at (drive coach’s) funeral.”

I do have bracelets for FRCblr, and FIRSTblr (if that’s a thing) in general. They’re all Mojo colors. I have 6 done rn, almost 7. I have about 5 more prepped so I can just weave in my free time.

At lunch and the pit crew has had an interesting experience. 3 food court restaurants:

Safety tech got the world’s greasiest pizza slice.

Other pit crew ordered a Turkey sub with Swiss cheese. He got a roast beef with American and pickles.

Me: gets 5 chicken tenders. Maybe they should be labeled chicken breasts instead… snicker for comparison below. All 5 are like this.

Made it to the last hour of tonight’s meeting.

Strategy Coach and one of the mechanical coaches spent the entire time listing puns for every tool I picked up.

For an hour. With the help of the new students.

I felt like I was in a fever dream. It was hilarious and terrifying.

Pit Crew hasn’t eaten.

Searching for a restaurant.

The first 2 were closed.

We are now at a Taco Bell/KFC.

They are out of ground beef and bone-in chicken. The fryers are off.

Pretty sure they said Electrical Mentor is getting the rest of their tenders.

Update: the team behind us cleaned them out of biscuits. We are now at the McDonald’s across the street getting drinks and fries.

So we got hit while climbing, and apparently we were flipped upside down???

Update: while fixing our limelight, the drive and operator controllers were mixed up. Arm went up and smacked the main mechanical mentor in the chest. Two arm gears stripped.

Everything is fixed now, but what a start to the day.
