Your tags about playing Pokemon at recess made me remember when I used to playing "flipping cards" with a girl from another class under the stairs cause no one wanted to join us 🤭

Right? As I've grown up and talked about it with more like-minded people, we always have this common experience of having our "weird little girl"-phase - which I think is just a code-name for "using our imaginations to play and have fun" - and it sucks that there was this aggressive push for us to "grow out of it" and that my friend group in elementary dwindled because of that. Because I didn't want to "grow out of it"! I liked (and still DO like) just having these weird/fun imaginative games to play and stories to make up and silly little rituals to bond over and have fun with, you know? But girls don't often get to have that without being labelled or made fun of and it's really sad. I wish I could go back and sit with little!Me at recess and tell her that I'm so proud of her for not letting the loneliness make her conform. That she is weird and wonderful and I love her SO much for it. 💪🏼🐧❤

Hi!!! Yes, I have always adored penguins! One of the very first movies I was ever obsessed with as a wee young beefcake was Mary Poppins (1964). I loved the whole movie, but there were two things that always stuck out to young-me (according to my mom):

My mom noticed how enraptured I was with the penguins and so we went to the library and I checked out a stack of books on penguins that was taller than me (again, according to my mom. I was like... around 4 or 5 beefy years old) and I have been obsessed with them ever since! 💪🏼🐧❤

Howdy there! I listen to all kinds of music! My sister was just making fun of me yesterday because a playlist of mine we were listening to transitioned from prog-rock to Wu-Tang to "Big Iron" by Marty Robbins and finished with The Beatles in what she called "the most mood-swing inducing songlist I've ever heard, you psychopath!" 🤣😂😅 I tried to explain to her that I contain beeftitudes (beefcake multitudes), but she still thinks I'm beefsane (beefcake insane) ✊🏼😔
