Omg this one's gonna go DEEP into this, so buckle up~ Under the cut because this answer is ENORMOUS. And I think I wrote a minific at the end there?

When I started shipping them: Oh, probably somewhere around the release of Abomination? Like, I saw their chemistry before then and thought it was cute, but that's not enough to make me start actively shipping a pairing - I have to get emotionally invested in the way they come together within the confines of the plot for that to happen. Even then, it wasn't like, my be-all-and-end-all, true-OTP, ship-to-end-all-ships ship until all the way to Derek's death and evolution. That look back that Stiles did? That ENDED ME and now I have never looked back ✨

My thoughts: Thoughts?! THOUGHTS?! This question has just casually asked me to write a novel 😂 tl;dr I loved the way Stydia came together (y'all know we stan Stydia on this blog here, too!), but honestly, if that relationship didn't stay stable long-term - and as much as I love them, I'm not sure it would - I imagine Sterek's eventual coming together in Stiles' like, mid-to-late 20s being a relief of long-held pressure, like a dam breaking. Somehow, Stiles and Derek seem stable together, like they could hold up each others' broken parts.

What makes me happy about them: See above. They seem like exactly the right people to support each other in dealing with their exact traumas. They both feel alone in very specific ways - and together, they don't have to be.

What makes me sad about them: That the writers (and/or the showrunner, and/or the network, etc) chickened out of, at the very least, explicitly using the word "bisexual" in referring to either of them, because, uh. That's clearly what was happening onscreen. 😂

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Okay, so. This is absolutely petty. But tbh, I look for correct and/or deliberate use of punctuation? 🤷‍♀️ I'M SO SORRY TO EVERYONE. I just both read and write in a very rhythmic, musical cadence inside my head (maybe it's a musician thing?), and a lot of that rhythm in written content is defined by punctuation. If it's off in some way, I often find reading sort of... disorienting? It's like my eyes can't relax as I read. Even something emotional, deep, thoughtful, well-plotted or well-paced will still be sort of unsettling for me to consume if there are repeated, consistent errors in it. That said, incorrect punctuation used on purpose for the explicit reason that it affects the rhythm of the words is somehow fine? I AM SO SORRY i really don't wanna be that snob, but 🫣 obvs i fuck with punctuation for like tumblr jokes or whatever but that cadence my brain reads as almost a different dialect and also we do this for like one sentence at a time so it's not as bad

Things I look for in fanfic: That it's complete, doesn't have too many background friendships that aren't canon, and hopefully that it punches me in the chest with that sweet, sweet emotional pain 🧡🧡🧡

My wishlist: I just want a fully canon-compliant future-fic that gives them the ending they deserve? 😂 Most of the fics I've read that have come out since 2017 are AUs, and while I love me an AU, what my soul really desires is like, a well-resolved, plausible way for them to come together in-universe. Of course all of this gets thrown out the window once the movie drops and we'll all need to start again with all our headcanons but whatever

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Stiles with Lydia, obviously. Derek... Derek only has Stiles and Paige, and Paige is dead. So like. He'd have to get some character we haven't met, I think, to be truly happy without Stiles.

My happily ever after for them: Lying in bed, morning light streaming through the window in god-rays, catching the golden dust in the air. Both are awake, on their sides, looking at each other but almost afraid to touch, despite everything that's happened to get them there. Quietly, haltingly, as if unwilling to disturb the moment, they begin to talk through every missed connection, every "almost", every misread moment of longing since the very beginning. Together, at the same time, they work to help each other understand: I've wanted this for years. I just didn't believe I deserved you. And they have a lifetime ahead to convince each other that they do.

well, friend, I haven't done it in a few days now but what the hell, let's do another one. I think I exclusively got asks about troll characters before so this is a nice change of pace.

My NOTP for them: I was about to say I can't think of one but then I remembered that there are a few incest ships with June, which I am not interested in. It seems like most of the incest fanwork enjoyers aren't either; like 99% of the incest stuff i've run across is strilonde stuff.

My BROTP for them: I like June and Dave's relationship in canon, and I feel like that should remain. The vast majority of June fics I've seen have Dave disappear into the background so the narrative can focus on the joys of trans lesbianism, which don't get me wrong is a lot of fun and all, but J and Dave's thing was one of the main positive relationships in the comic! they love each other!

My OTP for them: I don't really have an otp for June. I was always partial to grimdorks, but roxygen and spiderbreath and jrezi are fun as well

My second choice pairing for them: like I said I don't really have an otp or anything, but besides the popular ships I like I also like reading rarepairs.

My fluffy pairing for them: roxygen. despite the dubiously canon stuff where their relationship gets mired in shit, i've always enjoyed the way fanworks portrayed them as very happy and lighthearted together.

My angsty pairing for them: This is like 90% because of one fic series (your ex-lover is dead), but June/Jasprose. Jasprose watching her friends and lover die in game over and coming back to life and seeing them again, but they aren't yours, and June travelling to a new reality where everything is different and not being able to cope. Lots of angst potential.

My favorite poly ship for them: idk the two main ones i see are junevrisrezi and junerosekan, and i sort of feel like we're just slapping june on the popular f/f ships, although i tend to like both quite a bit. i would love to see more juneroxrezi. the person who got me to write that juneprezi fic was onto something for sure. we need more variety!

My weirdest pairing for them: well I already said june/jasprose so let's go with pitch junetav. That bit where June was being a little shit to Tav about the ring felt very much like black flirting.

(PART ONE) I love your blog and all of your thoughtful replies :) I've noticed some of your anons are starting to lose a bit of faith/are slightly underwhelmed/disappointed and I just wanted to offer some words of encouragement to you all

(PART TWO) Richonne began interacting in S3 (Michonne had a cameo in S2 and was officially a character on the show in S3) and they immediately hated each other. They were at odds for pretty much all of S3 (Rick, having lost his wife and Michonne choosing to be an outsider/loner after the loss of her boyfriend and son). Slowly but surely, as S3 progressed, they began to understand each other better and you saw their interactions shift.

(PART THREE) Michonne developed a friendship with Rick’s son which,in turn opened Rick up to communicating with Michonne in a more effective way. By the end of S3, Rick was able to acknowledge that Michonne was apart of the family, and Michonne had begun to accept her place within that family as well. In S4, Richonne had what I would consider a Canon Friendship.

(PART FOUR) Halfway through S4, Rick and Michonne (and his son) ended up separated from the rest of their group and it was the first time we got to see them act as a family unit. Even when Rick was forced to commit an incredibly gruesome and violent act to ensure their safety, Michonne never wavered. She stood by him.One of my favorite pieces of dialogue from that moment was as followed ..

(PART FIVE) Rick:“You okay?” Michonne:“Yeah.” Rick:“I’m okay.” Michonne:“I know.” Rick:“How?"Michonne:"Because I’m okay too.” That exchange cemented the beginning of Richonne for a lot of us. Aaaand then came S5 (smh ..) and this is where I relate with you guys the most. S5 started off great. They were Captain and Co-Captain, leading their group through rough times and keeping them strong, looking out and leaning on one another for advice.

(PART SIX) Halfway through S5, Rick, Michonne and their group end up finding a new community to join and within the community came a character named Jessie (Le sigh). To keep a long story short,Rick ends up becoming slightly infatuated by Jessie (she’s married but her husband was a grade A abusive asshole so I won’t hold that against her) and starts making rash, idiotic decisions (mentally he wasn’t stable at this point either) that end up endangering a lot of lives.

(PART SEVEN) It isn’t until Michonne literally knocks his ass out (she literally punches him in the back of the head and knocks him out)that he realizes that keeping things from her and the family is a mistake. At one point during an exchange, Rick tells Michonne “I was afraid you’d talk me out of it .. you could have.” and despite Rick being a total idiot, Michonne forgives him and tells Rick “I’m with you.”

(PART EIGHT) Now despite these small yet beautiful moments between Richonne, Rick was still pursuing Jessie. The whole Rick/Jessie thing ended up lasting about 16 episodes (half of S5 and half of S6), with Rick still acting quite out of character and borderline psychotic .. but when they ended? Ohhh boy did it end!

(PART NINE) Halfway through S6, Jesse ends up getting devoured by walkers (zombies) and Rick,who almost loses his son around that same time, finally snaps the fuck out of it and realizes there was NOTHING healthy about the way he had been acting.

(PART TEN) The very next episode, with two to three week time jump, Richonne became canon and it happened in one of the most natural and organic ways. It was like a light switch turned on for the both of them and they went “Oh! yes .. this makes sense. I see you now."and it was beautiful

(PART ELEVEN) The Walking Dead is currently filming their 9th season and Richonne is still going strong

(PART TWELVE) You guys have had a WAY slower burn than us Richonners and I acknowledge that (ya'll are so strong, seriously) but from what I've seen of Bellarke, you guys are close! It's coming! Your time is soon! And I know the Bellarke/Richonne stories aren't entirely the same, but I think there's enough there for me to confidently say that you'll be rejoicing sooner rather than later. So stay strong guys and I'll see you on the other side! (also, this is a fucking NOVEL and I'm sorry LOL)

This is really just the sweetest. What a lovely thing to reach out to our fandom. I know a lot of people will appreciate it. It's true, being a Bellarke shipper certainly has had its ups and downs but it's also been worth it. Holding all our fingers and toes for canon Bellarke soon! Glad to hear others see it too, especially when the Bellarke fandom has been called delusional for so long.
