I appreciate anyone who takes the time here , I have to go in to detail here so will be long. here it goes ..My brother and his girlfriend are moving in to my 2 storey 3 bedroom house for around 2 weeks give or take ..My girlfriend and I have 3 cats and 3 dogs . 1 female, 1 1/2 year old, outdoor cat, fixed 1 male, 2 years old, outdoor , fixed And 1 male , 7 months old , indoor, Not fixed.Our dogs 1 female pit 5 years old fixed 1 female Chihuahua 13 old , fixed , And 1 New male puppy 3-4 months German shepherd.My brother has either 2 or 3 males I forget , And they are about 7-8 months amd all brothers . Also the female mother cat to the brothers , 2 years old or more . none of his cats fixed .So . . The 3 bedrooms are all upstairs .. One issue is the dog door . has to come down so his cats dont get out . my male who isnt fixed is terrified of outside , for now, so stays in .. But can let his cats out ..I figured the first few days , all his cats , cat trees, and litter box will stay in his room so they know its home base. I also have a large flexible baby gate that can create a path from my brothers room , to the upstairs bathroom . to keep the dogs out . our puppy is curiouse and energetic , a puppy, so he will prob keep his cats afraid and in the room regardless .I figured ill still let my 2 outdoor cats outside , so they all dont get stir crazy , and they are very vocal and meow and my girlfriend is a light sleeper , wakes up anyway to them .My female even meows at the front door when sees us come home , even tho theres a dog door , she meows and we let her in since shes a princess . same with the oldest male. Since dog door is down .My brothers girlfriend will be home the entire 2 weeks. So someone will be here constantly to let dogs out and tend to animals and clean.Now . this is going to be a cluster f@$!#. I know . Theres gonna be piss and spray everywhere probably .My male youngest 7 month old , not fixed, is shy as hell, they all mostly hang In our room. My brothers mother female cat , he said same thing . but she almost always is attached to his girlfriend in the room . But obviously we'll have to watch out for that ..Now this seems like the best option for this farm we are taking on , any ideas, tips, do's do nots , would appreciate it.Again , I know , a big cluster f@$! ..I'm more concerned about not traumatising any of the cats and just doing this best way for them ..
