have you ever contemplated wanderyne angst? bc idk about anyone else, i fricking love the chaos that could ensue with them but also... the angst potential? i crave katheryne angst like i crave oxygen. scara's been through enough shit now let's put katheryne through it too. what do you think could happen??

I have contemplated Wanderyne angst a bit! The angst potential is very good, especially considering the wet paper bag of emotions that is Scaramouche and Katheryne being somewhat new to the whole emotions deal.

A few ideas that have bounced around in my head:

One of them gets injured! Classic. Horrible injuries are so good for angst (especially if they haven't confessed yet).

This one is more specific, but I think that Katheryne sees a lot of death and missing adventurers over the time she's worked as the main face of the Guild. When she's still sorting out her feelings after gaining sapience, I think this would hit her really hard. Scara is about as useful as a walnut during this time because I still don't believe he's sorted out his own issues surrounding death and his own emotions.

Another excellent one: Katheryne gets sent in for maintenance (either due to a different technical issue or her makers found out about her new sapience) and essentially gets a factory reset. Not remembering Scara or the times they had together, or any of her other friends...she's a blank slate once more.

And of course, because I am soft and find the comfort part of hurt/comfort the best, here is a little fluff to cleanse the angst palate
