The fact that Junpei proposed to Akane in ztd just baffles me every time I think about it like. He doesn’t know anything about her. They were friends for, what? A year? When they were kids. And Junpei never even knew she was an orphan or that she had a brother. Given just how important Aoi is to Akane and the massive role he played in her life, it’s very telling that Junpei doesn’t know about him. He also doesn’t seem too interested in Akane as a person. He only likes the idea of her, of sharing a bed or taking a shower together, but when she actually starts talking about her interests such as the titanic, he thinks she’s talking nonsense and only plays along when he doesn’t know what else to say. He also has this image of her as a damsel in distress (partially because Akane puts up an innocent persona to avoid suspicion) and he wants to play an action hero who protects her from seeing the scary dead body, completely oblivious to the fact that she put them there, that she wants that bastard dead. And how much does he come to terms with the truth after the nonary game? He feels betrayal, resentment, but he still proposes to her. He still spends his life chasing after her. He still puts himself and quark in a potentially dangerous situation in order to see her again. Junpei doesn’t have his shit together at all, he refuses to accept that the girl he liked as a kid isn’t perfect and has changed, has changed without him

I usually always want to romance the hater because pettiness fuels me but also love angst with a kill them with kindness mc (I WILL H*LD VINCENTS H*ND OR DIE FIGHTING GOD). So, confirmed Vincent-mancer. His art? HIS EYES. HIS LIPS. PRETTY PRIVELEGE IS REAL AND ALL CRIMES ARE EXCUSED (also I really tried going into it being like he's not sad!!! But, as someone who's been in that place, while not an actual war, he definitely comes across as sad in the sense of a weariness at life and that he's struggling to fit back into his skin as pre-trauma Vincent. Artist did a 10/10 job with all the art because THEY'RE SO BEAUTIFUL I CREYYYY)

But the chokehold Hunter has on me? They were gonna be first because their personality is appealing to me both fictional and irl but omg everything I read I HAVE TO HAVE MORE. So if he's so morals based and is stance on his pro Palestine side according again to his fans who'll read anything the way they want for it to be portrayed why is he associated with her? Like there's actual bullying all with stealing and physical assault, the characters have this weird "they've lived together for 10 years like brothers but were never close and actually avoided each other but it was because one of them had feelings and suddenly they're dating", in one scene dude no1 is forcing himself on dude no2, there's homophobia from the adults, and of course the typical pretty mean girl using the timid boy to get close to the popular dude 🙄 idk I'm not really into it, but it also has 2 great friend characters and I love them so that's nice.

I'm actually on ep5 for blueming now and I think so far it's quite cute (except the "he was a chubby kid and got bullied" thing). But you mentioned he's getting hurt so I'm ☹

The "enemies" side didn't last forever and then it's suddenly romantic, it was an actual journey! And YES THE KISSES... like we get Multiple kiss scenes ... that aren't limp face presses ...literally a miracle ! Seoham is so handsome you are so right fjdj he's a pretty man for sure.

I expected there to be a lot of fat-shaming and fatphobia and I can't speak on how well it was approached because it's not something I can relate to personally, but the main character himself had a positive outlook on it which exceeding my expectations a lot! Kinda a major reason why I rly like that character.
