road trips with ethan would include

-working on the playlist for the drive for the entire week before you leave

-fighting over who was gonna drive first

-having to push him out of a motel bed to wake him up and continue the long ass drive

-always having to take the morning shift bc ethan can barely keep his eyes open

-“can i get a smooch?” bc he’s been driving for two hours while you read and he misses you

-he fills the tank while you run into the gas station’s convenience store for snacks

-star gazing through the moon roof of the jeep

-sending gray snaps of y’all screaming along to kid cudi and he sends back selfies fake crying bc he’s jealous

-probably at least one flat tire

-middle of the night parking lot sex in the backseat of the jeep

-hitting your head on the roof of the jeep trying to ride him and he can not stop laughing at you (“if you don’t stop i’m putting my clothes back on and continuing this stupid drive, you dick”)

-randomly rerouting the gps while you drive to take the backroads bc the view is prettier

-whoever takes the wrong exit more in one day of driving has to be the big spoon in the backseat of the jeep

-cute snaps of e driving during golden hour

-running out of gas at least once bc neither of you realize how far you’ve actually driven

-being bored enough to play punch buggy on the highway which ends with you in tears bc ethan found one after a buggy drought and accidentally socked you in the arm

-playing Guess the Childhood Theme Song

-staying in just shorts n a bikini top after visiting a beach and then trying to run into a convenience store for waters but ethan is not having it

-ethan still appreciating the whole shorts and bikini top look (“woah, look at you. i can’t let you go out in that, but woah.”)

-running out of food after the second hour

-having to get off the highway at least twice so ethan can pee on the side of the road

-ethan falling asleep and shooting awake when he hears you gasp but you’re just shocked over something on the true crime podcast you were listening to

-spontaneous road trip tattoos

-ethan driving shirtless bc you got cold and he literally gave you the sweatshirt off his back

-him wanting to stop at every restaurant you pass

• “babe, it looks like they’d have some sick chicken nugs in there”

-ethan complaining that his “ass is gonna fall off” bc of how long he’s been sitting in the car

-crying bc you stuck your head out the window to be funny but forgot you had your favorite sunglasses on your head and now they’re gone forever

-once you guys switch spots ethan puts on his favorite beanie and sticks his head out the window to lose it and make you feel better

-posting snaps of y’all brushing your teeth together in a motel bathroom

-almost quitting the road trip bc you miss having sex somewhere other than the cramped backseat of the jeep

The accent is starting to become more endearing the more times he lets it slip in. And really, it’s disgusting how funny I think it is now that I’ve heard what he actually talks like, and how he really acts outside of the persona. Ben, Charlie, and Poppy….

Alright. I’d want to be stuck in an elevator with Poppy for ten hours, because we could talk about a lot. Crystals and witchcraft, stupid oblivious boys and our sky high crushes on SC Portman (tall girls in general, really.) We could just be sad little gay witch girls together and it’d be grand. I would definitely want Charlie to be my science lab partner because I was good at science back in school and would want to impress her lol but really though that’s my entire logic behind that response. Plus we’re both short girls with bushy hair and crushes on Ben, so we could swoon together instead of looking in the microscope it’s perf. Our feet would dangle from our lab stools. How adorable is that.

Ben would have to train me at McDonalds bc we would get high out back beside the dumpster and eat chicken nuggets and fries all day. If I’m going to be a pimply grease-scarred mess I’d want to do it high eating nugs with a funny surfer bro.
