🎉Happy Friyay!!!🎉 . Congratulations on surviving(!?) another week! Seriously, everyone deserves a pat on the back for working/studying/living so hard.💗 Today I actually took a day off (for once) from work just so I could spend some quality time with my family while celebrating my grandma’s birthday. 🍰 . In a nutshell, we went to a lovely township on the Eastern side of the island and stayed in a nice hotel for a night. I also brought this gorgeous book published by my favorite @owlhollowpress along with a boho-styled book sleeve from @booksbreathemagic_shop! What a combo, isn’t it?! 😍😇 . By the way, I finally tried out my NEARLY NIRVANA tea from @birdandblendtea and it tasted so good! I really love the peppermint and jasmine flavor. Very refreshing indeed! 🍵 . ⚓️Do you support indie publishers/authors/bookstores?📖 . I personally love supporting indie publishers and authors not only because it never fails to provide me with a sense of achievement but because these people tend to appreciate our (the book bloggers and reviewers’) time and effort more than anyone else.💛 . My first encounter with an indie publisher was back in 2017, with the one and only @owlhollowpress, when I read and loved @leighstatham Daughter 4254. The way they express their gratitude towards their supporters is spectacularly heartwarming and I’ve enjoyed every single chance working with them ever since. . Though I know the saying “Too many books, too little time,” is absolutely accurate, I’m still willing to put aside popular, mainstream novels and make time for these smaller, yet no less hardworking, publishers/authors. 💖 .
