my contribution to @netghibli 's first event. The reason why I only drew Howl from the movie Howl's Moving Castle, and how I drew him (having one eye and one hand not drawn in) represents, in a way, how Howl has lost parts of himself to the magic contract he signed with Calcifer, also pictured. His relationship with Sophie, while it doesn't complete him, because one doesn't need a relationship to be happy and whole, her actions did indeed help him to become "whole" again, as she was responsible for returning his heart to him.

NetGhibli presents its first event: for the month of November we will be focusing on favorite movies!

This, due to being the first event and one specified for members of the net, will be closed to outsiders for the time being. 

The requirements for this event are as follows:

Your creation can be any form of media. Art, writing, edits, gifs, AMVs, etc. and etc. As long as you create it, it is accepted. 

If you choose to focus on a character, it must be a character in your personal favorite movie.

Your creation should be tagged with your part of nature (#plains spirit tag, #ocean spirit, #city spirit, #forest spirit), #netghibli event 1, and @netghibli​ in order to count towards future voting for events.

All creations are due November 30th.
