Hi boooooo, ive been itching to ask, do u have an oc for crepuscolo??

Hey! No I do not :( I have thought about it a bit but not extensively if that makes sense. Maybe as the chapters progress I'll be able to piece one together?

My OC would prob be like me irl bc I love learning about diff cultures and traveling so they'd prob meet Nicky traveling the high seas. I can be pretty bad with directions sometimes so I could see them getting on the wrong boat and Nicky's like "Can I help you?" and my OC would just look back at the docks as they already set off to sail and they're like 😬 whoops

If, and when, I do come up with one though I'll tag you and @anonymous-eggy in it 😉

p.s.: i think it'd be cool if my oc could play an instrument bc i really wanna learn how to play one irl. maybe they were like a nurse's aid before they set off to travel and they often played music for the patients... ok, i'm getting ideas now..

At first before I thought of Seneca, I had a different character who was a witch, this is her

Meet ❇✨Roma✨❇

Shes around 5"4", 24, she/they, bisexual.

long silky black hair down to her hip, Grey eyes, and lots of freckles, longish and flat nose, hourglass figure, a little curvy

Roma practices medicinal magic meaning that working with plants is nothing new, quite a bit of elemental magic, earth and fire are strong points, and her best area of magic are hexes, spells, curses, jinxes and the like, mostly because she comes from a long line of very notorious and powerful warlocks and witches.

So whats she like? Trigger happy Thats for sure, shes rather stoic and jaded. Usually quiet, thoughtful, somber, kinda irritable, a short temper and even shorter patience, only when it comes to people though. She has an air of regality when she walks, likes to make her presence known, everything about her screams 'predator', not much of the athletic type but shes got some nice tricks up her sleeve. And you will never ever know whats going on in her head, she always makes sure to guard her mind with little psyche games against people. Most people would say shes cold and calculating, and she is.

Despite all this shes pretty charming and charismatic when she wants to, surprisingly people tend to be fond of her quite a bit. I think this is mostly because one of the rules she follows "respect given is respect you get". On that same topic, self discipline is very very important to her. She'll get the damn job done no matter what it takes. And also her favorite color is a muted or mossy green

When it comes to business, shes rather stone faced and cruel, behind closed doors with someone she fully trusts its a completely different story, shes a total lovebug and an absolute whore for cuddles. Shes also pretty honest, whenever someone comments on that, her response is "youd rather me lie?"

As for style, she wears a lot of dark tones, black, blue, red, with gold embellishments. Mostly fancy suits, but she does wear the occasional dress, her style is also inspired by a nomadic appeal, like, rural witchy lady, even though Shes a city dweller. And yes, she does wear a pointy witch hat, SOMETIMES. Gold jewelry is obviously a must, any kind of jewelry to be honest. And yes, she occasionally wears striped stockings. Has tattoo sleeves and an octopus tatt on her back.

Combative skills would be knife throwing, spell casting, sword fighting, and just good ol punches if need be.

Ethnically i made her mostly middle eastern, some Persian, Greek, Italian, and Turkish, a little bit of Spanish too.

ALSO SHE PLAYS A FLAMENCO GUITAR

She does in fact have a familiar, and i know how stereotypical it is but i really like it... Its a cat, surprise. A short haired ginger, and his name is Nix, with a pretty outgoing personality (and conveniently has a magically extended lifespan ✌)

Right now, this is all i can think of for her, and i really like this oc, idk why exactly, shes rather a badass

Haha so I had a terrible thought about Sunday in @anonymous-eggy Crepuscolo. Somehow Nicky’s crew hears about this elixir that's supposed to revive the dead or smthn but ofc there's a catch to it. Anyway, Sunday thinks 'I can bring Timothy back' and that's if his revival is even successful. For kicks and giggles let's say it was.. but now she has to choose between Nicky and Timothy

✨I offer: Crepuscolo Sneak Peak ✨

Seeing as I'm still working on those first few Crepuscolo (tatw pirate au) chapters and smoothing things out, perhaps I can interest you in a little ✨sneak peak✨ (of which will also help me kick off the Crepuscolo masterlist)

Trying to balance answering headcanon requests and this is a little tough, but it's nothing I can't handle don't you worry! ☺️ I'm just super glad everyone is being so patient!

👀 without further ado, here's that sneak peak 👀

Feeling overwhelmed, you spin around and pull open the door you had come through. As you peaked outside, you quickly note that everything is different. Nothing was recognizable. Even the streets and scenery were different.

Not even bothering to take in the outside environment in fear of becoming even more overwhelmed, you shut the door and begin taking everything in.

Wooden tables filled the room, and a rough bar held men taking shots boisterously. Tired bartenders cleaned old-fashioned mugs and made drinks for those yelling for another. It was dimly lit, but only one thing catches your eye. Or rather, someone. And you couldn’t stop yourself from taking in every detail of his figure.

In the crowd stood a tall handsome man, his light brown hair pushed back out of his face, which had a beauty mark under his right eye and on the right side of his chin. His charming smirk and posture exuded suave confidence. He wore a dark overcoat with large cuffed sleeves that ended at his elbow, the rest of his sleeve being the white puffy-sleeved button-up shirt under it--- of which was partially unbuttoned beneath a brown leather vest--- displaying his neck and part of his alluring collarbones.

You realize then, that he was watching you look him up and down. He makes eye contact with a raised brow and you feel your face heat up in embarrassment. Instead of looking confused or upset, he wears a look of amusement as he winks at you and nods towards the bar as if to say “follow me,” disappearing in that direction.

With your curiosity piqued, you follow, already wanting to know more about this man. Plus, if you’re really in some new universe, it would be best to know someone from here. Just the thought made you dizzy, but you shook your head and brought yourself back to the present.

Presently, you needed to find where that guy had run off to. You stood at the bar, searching the faces in the crowd. You would think it would be easy to spot such a tall man in a crowd, but he seemed to be good at being elusive. To your disappointment, you soon realize how useless your search is and take a seat in a stool.

“Hey there, darlin’, welcome to the Stubborn Mule tavern. what can I get for you this chilly evening? Perhaps somethin’ to warm you up?” A kind large woman asks, her accented voice comforting.

You look up at the menu, not recognizing any of the drinks. “Uh…”

“They’ll take a Flip, lass. And a Sangaree for me, if you don’t mind,” A voice speaks from beside you.

You look over to see the very person you were looking for smoothly sitting in the empty stool beside you.

“You got it, Captain Valentino. I’ll be right with back with your drinks, it's good to see you back 'round here, ” She responds pleasantly, her entire energy contradicting the loud chaos around you.

“That ol’ Shauna, hasn’t changed a bit. She’s still got that ever-kind attitude, somehow. Still don’t know how she does it,” The man remarks humorously, turning to you as she leaves. His charming smile makes you feel at ease as you let out a soft laugh.

“Ah, but where are my manners? The name’s Nicky. Nicky Valentino,” He introduces himself while softly taking hold of your hand and bringing it to his lips. His twinkling eyes gaze into yours as he presses a soft kiss to the back of your hand, sending a swarm of butterflies through your stomach. “And who might you be, dear?”

“Uh, (Y/n),” You respond before asking, “Where… am I?”

Nicky quirked an eyebrow. “You don’t know where you are?”

You shake your head, still waiting for an answer.

“St. Augustine, Florida, 1743. In the Stubborn Mule, talkin’ to a guy you find to be very attractive.”

I was thinking earlier about my Sunday, Nicky and Timothy comment:

Sunday would prob stay in her hometown to figure things out. She'd hang out with Timothy a bit but it wouldn't be romantic bc she has to sort out her feelings. Anyway, Nicky prob comes back after a few days bc he's restless about the whole situation. He hasn't thought it out but here's how it goes:

Nicky: "Why don't we split?"

Sunday: "You wanna split me in half?"

Nicky: "No, not like that.. well.."

Timothy: 👀

Sunday: 👀

Nicky: "I meant like the days of the week."

*whispers* "we could try that too though."

Sunday: "What was that?"

Timothy: "He said 'I have to tie my shoe'!"

Sunday: *notices Nicky doesn't have laces on his boots*

Nicky nods his head at Timothy who nods back.

Nicky: "Like I was sayin', we could be together Monday through Wednesday and you two, Wednesday through Saturday."

Timothy: "What about Sunday?"

Sunday: 🤦🏾‍♀️ "I'm right here."

Timothy: "Not you, sunny. I'm sorry, darling."

Sunday: 🥺

Nicky: 💔 "I figured she'd want a day to herself between the two of us."

Timothy: "Right.. I'll give it a shot."

Nicky: "Me too, even though I've got my competion cut out for me."

Timothy: 😧

mmmm! that is a sexy pirate outfit 😩 but im in the process of designing and drawing his outfit right now! when i finish it i promise I'll post it right away! its one of my bigger drawing projects though, so theres a lot of concept art and reference gathering involved 😪 v time consuming but i want it to be perfect for him

his outfit resembles that more of nobility, as he's somewhat hiding under the guise of being a rich merchant. and he just likes being fancy ☺️

when his overcoat is off, i imagine his outfit does look similar to that!

now that ive taken a good ol break I'm going to be cleaning out my inbox (by answering mostly everything dw), finishing up headcanon requests, and then... Nicky's first Crepuscolo chapter!

Oh yeah whats Connors job before he joins Nicky in crepuscolo? What was his job before he left for tatw?

Connor’s job

Connor was an actor before going to Nicky’s world. However, if you know anything about that career, you’ll know that work and pay is unpredictable. So they also picked up a nice chill job at a bookstore. I imagine it’s a funny conversation when Connor brings up that he was an actor to Nicky.

Hollywood ending Nicky would appreciate Connor’s experience with working on sets and working with scripts. And auditions too. He’s been to quite a few, so he knows how that rodeo works.

Crepuscolo!Connor’s job

I’ve been thinking about a Connor from this au world, and I think they would be a wandering witch. He doesn’t have a particularly set job, he just travels around with his horse (irish cob my beloved) and cat, doing odd jobs. Which also makes me think: Connor would have been born in Ireland because America hadn’t been fully colonized at that time. He would have an irish accent lmao.

He basically got to different parts of the world by using his charm, trading things he’s collected, and offering work in order to be granted passage on a ship. This is most likely how crepuscolo!Connor and Captain Nicky meet. A good ol’ classic case of “I promise I’ll get out of your hair soon” and then they both realize they don’t want the other to leave. (can you tell I’m a slut for that trope)
