If you share a sidereal rising sign and/or nakshatra with a parent, that's gonna be the one you end up looking like and getting compared to physically - because your houses are all aligned, so each sign rules the same body part, especially since you have the same second house ruler, which rules the face. Obviously depends on what house your second house ruler lands in, as well.

My dad and I both have Ardra Risings, and everyone tells us we look exactly alike. My mom especially points it out. We're also built the same way - notably lean muscle relative to however we eat and exercise, tendency to lose weight easily. Also interesting because I have a huge Capricorn-8th house stellium and he has a huge Scorpio stellium in his 6th, which are all malefic-ruled lol. Funny because most of what I inherited from him is genetic and intrinsic personality, like sense of humor and general attitudes and behaviors.

Mom and I, meanwhile, share our sun sign and nakshatra, Capricorn Uttara Ashadha, and she's the one who did the most actual raising of me. It makes a lot of sense, then, how my actual decisions and strategies, stuff I learned and chose and implemented, more align with hers. We also share Jupiter house placements in the D1 10th, and D1 Mercury nakshatra placements in Purva Ashadha. (Guess who both have worked as teachers lmao)
