I have the brainworms that make me move these eight ocs around every universe or else I’d miss them.
Dario Mendes - Lasombra, 7th Gen, embraced at age 31, his trials to be embraced involved the betrayal of several friends and teachers, concluding in his own betrayal against his father, member of a ghoul family who had long since served the clan. This left him with a grudge that expressed itself by leaving his own clan behind, being considered a weak link from his lineage. Anarch who hates the sabbat and after the lasombra alliance, the camarilla but merely by association.
Beáta Thorpe - Ventrue, 8th turned 7th Gen through diablerie (and in process of fighting for control of her body), embraced at 30, only able to drink from people with sucessful leaderships. Around 500 years of age as a kindred but due to extensive damage she had to spend most of them in torpor until she awakes to the modern nights and tries to make sense of this new world on her own. Taken in by the Camarilla but so far she’s disappointed with what she sees and how rigid rules are.
Noelle [REDACTED] - Cappadocian, unknown generation, embraced at 24, has survived the hunt of the Giovanni through sheer talent, hoarding enough blackmail and secrets not even the camarilla promise of non intervention could break and if that’s not enough to cover her, she has tricks under her sleeve no one would guess (yes it means several diablerized elders of different clans, both their powers and their shambling corpses with renewed energy). Casual camarilla but mostly unaligned.
Thea Hill - Salubri, unknown generation, embraced at 25 by mistake during her sire’s final crisis, which led her to believe she was a caitiff for a time, barely surviving in the unknown world that suddenly opened itself beneath her. Anarch as survival dictates it so, but she keeps a safe distance from most.
Phemie Elu - True Brujah, 6th Gen, embraced at 33, she jokes about having more in common with the younger brujahs but the few people who know her well have learned not to underestimate her control over the temporis technique or the knowledge she has stored across centuries. Loyal only to her clan.
Yseult Terrell - Thinblood from a Toreador sire, 15th Gen, embraced at 20, able to walk under the sun, following the edicts of the clan that rejects her, she is charming and open to as many friendships as possible but so far she has had little success. An anarch just looking to pass her nights in peace and with those who welcome her.
Florencia “Felix” Weiss - Gangrel, 10th Gen, embraced at 22 when her mother was a neonate, during a frenzy of hers. Unwilling to keep up with the plain lifestyle of her clan, she stakes out in the city, rejecting any familiar for the time being. She can’t deny she connects well with monkeys though. Right now her life is an anarch party after another, getting creative at avoiding conflict whenever it comes looking for her.
Rex C. Newman - Banu Haqim, 12th Gen, embraced at 27 after his clan’s introduction to the Camarilla, although his contact with kindred started since he was young, with his biological father being a kindred, the target of the assassin clan. He was taken away from his father before he could take him in as a childe. A vicious and effective tracker and executor, he has been denied the princedom of a city several times, putting him at odds with leadership.

Fallaz's parent (Smuggler)
Note: I imagine Leukan’s eyes to be a lot wider, almost hypnotizing and always smiling but tell swtor’s character creator to do that lmao im asking for miracles and talking to a wall. This is also a bit different than the time frame and relationships I’ve talked about Tarragon since this is based on swtor and the other is on the OT.
Tarragon Wen: member from clan Atzil, her last mission before being declared a full mandalorian was a complete catastrophe that left her clan siblings dead and herself injured, requiring rescue. Luckily a kubaz mob boss named Uthrevvain kept her safe and healed her. After noticing her talents he offered to stay with him and take her under his wing. Tarragon accepted, too ashamed to go back to her clan empty-handed. On their travels she met a smuggler named Leukan and they would date for a time. He would tragically perish when his boss decided to go against Nok Drayen’s syndicate, something that immeasurably aggravated Tarragon. Uthrevvain already had his eyes on Nok and proposed to join him and take what was his for themselves. Everything went smoothly for the next years, without Nok suspecting anything. Fallaz was born and while neither Tarragon nor Uthrevvain had much time for her, they formed a crew of people to take care of her while they were working. It all fell apart when Tarragon took an opportunity to poison Drayen but suspecting foul play, Uthrevvain took the blame for her. Nok had him killed, along with every lieutenant of his. Afterwards, Tarragon had to cut her relationship with Fallaz almost completely, fearing Nok’s allies could target her next, which caused Fallaz to resent her, changing her name and taking off to the galaxy with plans of her own.
Leukan: petty thief and novice smuggler, he had charm and he was guided by it. He was witty and smart, always had something to say but he was almost in shock every time Tarragon would spend time with him. He cherished her dearly and tried to plan for what they would do if they had a chance to go steady. Sadly, he was very dependent of his boss and when he went against Nok, Leukan was forced to follow, which lead to his death.

im not very familiar w kotor lore but i loved reading that wip bit...is tarragon a major character in fallaz’s story or does she kind of do her own thing?
Thank you so much for telling me!! 💜💜 it makes me happy that you liked it! fallaz is one of my eight oc protagonists in swtor, kotor’s “sequel” (and i use that word very loosely) and tarragon is her mom. they had an estrangled relationship and only until much later do they start working to fix it but first fallaz got kidnapped by a sith who wanted to manipulate her jedi girlfriend 😬 tarragon has her own issues with another dark lord (and without being a force user which is much worse) so she will have to fix them before rescuing her kid 😓

tagged by @forceritual to talk about the overarching themes in some of my characters’ arcs. To clarify, I change the Consular story so that the Barsen’thor, in this case Tyzkaan, needs supervision during the first and second arcs as ordered from the Jedi Council which Yngram provided. I also change the Agent story where Exatlas is cipher nine during the first arc but after siding with Darth Jadus (and dealing with the consequences that comes from someone else thwarting Jadus) Nemore’xiel is promoted to cipher nine.
Blessaire: looking forward vs learning from your past, fighting isolation, dealing with leadership
Tizkaan: pride vs responsibility, dealing with impulses
Yngram: finding balance between fighting and dialogue, standing up for yourself, self esteem issues
Fallaz: pragmatism vs idealism, hedonism, recklessness
Willita: avoiding family with work, disappointment with the system, patriotism
Diokos: escaping cult ideologies, following orders, guilt
Noktemi: what to do with power, fighting conformism, narrow mindedness
Phierre: being new to a culture, higher and higher objectives, hastiness
Exatlas: resentment, taking control, atonement
Nemore’xiel: self sufficiency, grudges, paranoia
Under cut explanations for each character
Thank you for tagging me Dani! If youre interested in doing this consider yourself tagged
For a long time Blessaire didn’t know where she came from. She is curious about it but wonders if it’s a derailment from her progress as a jedi. Before her tutelage began she spent a lot of time a lot alone, trying to figure out her powers, something that works against her when the confronts Valkoriate directly and when it comes to joining the republics efforts against the empire and later the push against Zakuul.
Tizkaan comes to a lot of power at a very young age and the responsibility of dealing with it eludes her for a time. She has to learn how to control her emotions and see herself in her new position in the jedi order and stop focusing on what others think of her if she wants to stop people from getting hurt. She needs to get over childish rivalries she imagines with people who are on her side and work with them.
Yngram drags a lot of family drama to adulthood and it gets her down quite easily when she realizes she is now a jedi. She feels inadequate in that position and would rather find new solutions to old conflicts, which is sometimes shut down by others and she won’t argue her own point of view. It takes her time to be sharp the moment it takes to defend her ideals and identify the point where words won’t work.
Fallaz really doesn’t want to think about the needs of others. She thinks of short term pleasure and the rest is old news. She knows her lifestyle is not for the long run and at the same time wants to live forever. She wants to keep her friends close so they can enjoy all the shit that happens together and at the same time she has to care for them. The closer she gets to the top, the higher the stakes and the more she has to think about what she has to do instead of what she wants.
Unlike Yngram, Willita’s family is not something that weighs on who she is. She freed herself from it and now the anger and frustration that are left fuels her new purpose, the Republic’s army and her squad, even when there’s still people of her past worth spending time with. She has a hard time giving her all in the battlefield then going back home and realize it is not enough to achieve peace. She keeps trying and over the years starts to see flaws in the strategies chosen which makes her slowly lose hope in her ideals.
As a red sith, Diokos had his life planned for him before he could even make choices, yet derailed those plans before having control over his own life. The injuries that came from those setbacks made him gain his independence far later than people his age and when it came he found out that it was still supervised in many ways. He makes mistakes someone with more experience would not and has to look up to others when he knows they’re wrong. For a long time his solutions are passive aggressive and it makes his situation more precarious in the long run.
Noktemi earned everything she has through her efforts and pains. After she earns a seat in the Dark Council, in a position where she can help others, she has to will herself into finding new objectives that won’t benefit just her. A huge source of inspiration has been Kallig but this no longer brings her comfort when her plans go against the Empire.
Even though she was adopted by a bounty hunter, Phierre wasn’t allowed to hunt herself since the first time she did so it went incredibly wrong. She lost an eye in the process and she feels like she has to compensate for the time lost healing by joining the Great Hunt, which turns out moves her to the top. This only makes her push herself more and more as time goes by even when her responsibilities as a Mandalorian are made so that she learns from her clan, not limit herself to combat.
Exatlas’ family took his lack of force sensitivity harshly, shoving him aside from the spotlight and making it so that he could never elevate himself to a position other imperials could respect. In Jadus he saw a way to overcome such impediments but instead had a rude awakening where he was shown that not only was he tied to his status to the empire, but that he was also punished when looking out for success. His solution is to restart in the Republic, where suspicion and the search for atonement for the problems he caused while serving Jadus is tolerable over a constant boycott of his efforts.
Nemore’xiel spent most of 3643 BBY trapped inside Jadus’ dreadnaught. It was a harrowing experience but it put him in a position to stop Jadus once his plan had come to motion. How he worked afterwards was molded from that trail, being extremely resentful of both Sith and the Empire and wanting to exert control over others every chance he had, making it difficult to work in teams and yet coming to the conclusion that he will need help if he has made a decision to stand against the regimes that disturb him to his core, yet which he belongs to in many ways.

🖊 for Fallaz and Nemore'xiel?
Thank you <3
Fallaz hides it very well, but she comes from a very informal mandalorian clan. She understands the language and most of the cultural practices but they were never part of her daily life. Her mother lead her clan while focusing on combat and paying contracts and allowed many bounty hunters to join. In the end they acted more like a mercenary company than a clan. It lasted little as conflicts and power plays arised so her mother broke it apart. Akaavi surprises her by how seriously she takes the code of honor and even if Fallaz is rarely serious with her, its pleasant to finally see the real face of mandalorians.
Nemore’xiel’s facial scars actually form a pattern in sith language. It’s the remnants of whatever Jadus was trying to do with the people he wanted to ready for combat after his reign of terror began. He tried to start a sith ritual on these people to create an army fueled only by fear but didn’t have enough time to finish with the experimental procedure. Nemore’xiel doesn’t understand them but he is curious enough to leave them there while he finds the meaning of it and not look for surgery in the meantime. He finds they come with both advantages and inconveniences. While the use of masks is almost obligatory in subterfuge missions he’s surprised by how many people find it very intimidating, especially in imperial space.
