Can we get some Nicco getting jealous? Maybe when they all are camping and some random guy is flirting with Marti
It’s a new feeling, something unsettling in his chest. He watches from afar as Marti talks to his new friend. He and Marti met on their very first day of college. And they’ve been constantly around each other since then. Not like Gio and Marti, but they became friends pretty quick and naturally.
They never seem to run out of things to talk about and Martino is so interested in whatever the guy has to say. Nico finishes his slice of home made pizza and gets up, going to force himself to fit on the couch right next to his boyfriend, putting his arm around his neck. But he just listen to their conversation, not really wanting to interrupt.
He waits and waits, but the guy doesn’t seem to get the hint, but even then Nico keeps his mouth shut, looking around them. Gio and Elia are clearly talking about him being there, watching Martino. He shows them the middle finger and the boys laugh, happy to explain to Eva that just got back with some beers for the three of them what’s going on. And now he was an audience of three.
Nico looks away, feeling his cheeks heating up with embarrassment, hating the attention of their friends and not Marti’s. His friends runs out of beer too and he gets up to get more, asking if Marti or Nico want something from the kitchen.
Marti looks at him and Nico shakes his head, looking at Marti’s friend, smiling at him.
“No, I’m good. But thanks...”
“Yeah, I’m good too, man.” Marti smiles and they’re finally alone. Martino smiles at him, moving his body to face Nico so they can see each other better. And Nico can’t help but smile, quietly wrapping his arm around Marti’s neck, pulling him closer, bumping their noses.
“Everything okay?” Nico nods his head, leaving a soft kiss on Marti’s lips and he sighs against Nico’s lips, putting his hand on his cheek, kissing him with more intent, keeping them close.
It’s still very early, not even midnight, probably, but Nico would love to be alone with Marti already. To spend hours like this, tangled together, looking at each other with dazed eyes, kissing for long, beautiful minutes.
Martino moves away when he receives a text on his phone, he frowns and locks his phone without answering whoever it was. He looks back at Nico with a cute smile, leaning his head back, against Nico’s arm and the couch.
“Are you jealous?”
Nico sighs, rolling his eyes, wanting to nicely ask Gio to fuck off.
“No, I’m not. He was just being annoying and-”
“Oh my god....You’re jealous.” There’s a hint of amusement on Marti’s voice and Nico wonders if he wanted Nico to be jealous, with his expecting eyes and cute smile. “I never thought I would see this day. You, jealous of me!”
Nico decides to play along, focusing on his index finger on one of Marti’s curls for a moment, gently twisting it around his finger. He looks back at his boyfriend and Marti is still so hopeful and Nico decides to me somewhat honest.
“Marti...I’m always jealous, I’m just good at hiding.”
Marti sits up straight again, one of his hands not so gently slapping Nico’s thigh, getting really excited now. “What?”
“What what? You’re so fucking handsome and nice and funny...” Nico sighs, still watching every freckle, every wild curl that will probably soon be cutted out of Marti’s hair. Suddenly his expression changes and it seems to hit Martino. He rolls his eyes and sighs loudly, relaxing against the couch again.
“You’re so annoying. You’re not jealous.” Nico smiles and laughs, sitting closer, twisting his waist so he can look down to Marti, lying so disappointed against the couch now. He puts his hand on Marti’s waist, quietly touching the pale skin of his side, under his jacket and shirt.
“No. I’m not. Because I know you. And I know me. And there’s nobody that could ever break us.”
“Not even Luai?” Nico laughs with the way Martino still says Luai’s name, even when they’re at least a little closer since their first encounter.
“Nobody, ever! We’re connect, by a red thread, remember?” Marti tries not to smile, but the lines around his mouth start to appear and Nico smiles, kissing his boyfriend right there, for everyone to see. Even Marti’s friend.

Day four of my Elippoweek: Canon Compliant

«Ho appena acchittato la vacanza del secolo. Le ragazze verranno con noi in Salento, e anche Rami e gli altri.»
When Luchino had suggested to go camping in Salento after the maturità, Elia had not hesitated to accept.
Two beautiful weeks by the sea with his best friends, far from home and from his dad, had seemed to be the best way to spend his holidays.
But then Gio had decided to ask the girls to join, and Elia had felt like the whole "perfect holiday" thing had been destroyed.
He knew that, if the girls had joined their trip, it would not have been the holiday he wanted. He knew that Giovanni would have spent all the time trying to get Eva back, that Luchino would have been with his new girlfriend, Silvia, all the time. And he knew for sure that Marti and Nicco would have isolated themselves from anyone else, acting like two "polipetti" as always.
And when Rami had asked Gio to join, he had felt his heart falling apart. He knew that Rami joining them meant all the Roses Squad joining them: Rami, Luai, Driss... And Malik.
It wasn't like he hated Malik, he was sure he was a good guy and maybe they would have been friends if Elia hadn't been in love with Sana.
Yes, Elia loved Sana. He had loved her for half a year and he couldn't stop loving her. It didn't matter how many times the girl had rejected him, he couldn't stop loving her.

Elia looked at the guy with the leopard shirt sitting next to him and smiled. He didn't know Filippo Sava that well, but he admired his attitude and his contagious joy. He was that type of person Elia loved spending time with.
«Intanto a te non t'ha invitato nessuno.»
Filippo laughed, faking an angry face and giving Elia a friendly slap.
The older boy had noticed Elia for the first time at Marti's Christmas party two years earlier. His first thought about him had been "ammazza che fregno!". Elia was very good looking, he was probably the most beautiful guy Filippo had ever seen in his entire life (and he had seen a lot of hot guys), and it hadn't taken much time for him to understand that he liked Elia more than he ever did with anyone else.
But unfortunately, Elia was straight. He hadn't dared to ask Martino about it, but the girls had told him that the brunette had had lots of girl crushes, such as Sofia (the Argentinian girl), Polidoro and Sana. So Filippo knew he had no chance with that boy, but he still wanted to be close to him. He knew he would end up in the friendzone, but as long as he could have been someone to Elia, he didn't care.
That summer trip to Salento would have been Filippo's chance to get closer to Elia, and he was determined not to waste it.

Elia knew that he wouldn't like that holiday very much, but he never thought he'd end up sitting on a cliff and watching the sea with eyes full of tears. It wasn't what he planned for a perfect holiday with his friends.
He had never been that type of guy, the one who cries when he sees the girl he loves with another man, but he guessed it was different with Sana.
He thought he had been in love before, but now he knew that he had never loved anyone the way he loved that girl. And he couldn't bear to see her with Malik, it was too much pain for him.
«It hurts, doesn't it?»
Filippo joined him and sat next to him on the cliff. Elia saw him light a reed, breathing the smoke in.
«What?»
«Seeing the person you love with someone else.»
��Is it written on my face?»
«You seem to love her very much.»
«I do, I honestly do. I've never loved anyone else this way before, and it's so hard to see her with another.»
Elia felt the tears falling down his cheeks, but he tried to hide them. He didn't want to be seen like that, especially not by someone that was like a stranger to him.
«I know how you feel, trust me. It's hard when you would give everything to someone and they don't even really care about you.»
«Did it happen to you, too?»
«Too many times, Elia. When I was your age, I used to act exactly like you do.»
«What do you mean?»
«I know how you're feeling. You give all of you to people and they give you nothing in return. They always say that you are "not enough" or "too much", and so you try to be what they want you to be. And you fail it, because that's not you.»
Elia turned silent. He was shocked. Filippo seemed to know exactly how he felt, he knew what he thought and what made him feel like shit.
«How do you know this?»
«I told you, I was like you when I was your age.»
It was difficult for Elia to believe that someone could think that Filippo was "not enough". He didn't know him well, but he had been the only one who had cared for him when he had left the group with a broken heart, so Elia thought he was a great person.
«I can't believe that someone told you that you were not enough, because you are a great person. But still, now you seem to be happy with yourself. How did you manage to do it?»
Filippo sighed. Elia was right, he was happy with himself now, but he still had that feeling of being too much.
«I think I just stopped wasting my time with people who wanted to change me, and I focused on people who really worthed it.».
And Elia worthed it.
«And... Did it work?»
«I think I can say that yes, it worked. Okay, I hadn't been able to find the right person yet, but now I feel good with who I am.»
Elia looked at Filippo, and it was like seeing him for the first time. He had never realized how beautiful Filippo was, how deep his eyes were and how his smile seemed to light up all around him.
That day, while he was watching the sea with his future roommate, Elia fell in love with him.
And he was sure it worthed it.

(I fell asleep yesterday so now I can say that I didn’t watch the entire season in a day, my dignity is saved.)
- YES LET’S KEEP DRAGGING CANEPALLO TO THE GROUND, it’s what he deserves. Also how adorable is it that Nicholas is actually super talented in real life too and he has an instagram page for his drawings?
SEE? I knew there was a reason for the cat thing, fuck Raffaele (who is coincidentally my ex’s name too). And omg her father just called her FAT I can’t, I’m so glad she has Luchino they’re so cute Silvia season when.
- I waited ALL MY LIFE for a Giovanni Garau Wizard of Love clip and they’re really gonna fucking ruin it with EMMA COVITTI THE VILLAIN and MORE ELIA/SANA BULLSHIT, is this happening??? BESSE WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU I DID NOTHING BUT LOVE AND SUPPORT YOU WHY DO YOU HATE M- I TAKE IT BACK, BESSE YOU NEVER DID ANYTHING WRONG, EVER, THIS IS THE BEST CLIP EVER- “canecazzo”, CANECAZZO, everyone has been slandering his name this entire season and no one but HIM could finally reach the final superior level, Federico CANECAZZO. Poetic. Cinema.
Marti SHUT UP, we do not recall the good things that Canecazzo did, we HATE him this season, also he was only good because Rich King Incanti was there to lead the way (the way towards the chair), now that he’s alone he showed his true colors.

He was there anyway at the end, couldn’t they just film something quick???), Elia and Covitti clip existing (at least they didn’t kiss and she was NOT in the last scene so that means that nothing happened thank you very much), they didn’t make Sana sing (WHAT WAS THAT IN BESSE IG STORIES WHERE BEA WAS SINGING IMAGINE, DOES HE JUST LIKE TO TEASE US??? She sings all the time on her IG and she has a beautiful voice, why didn’t they do the karaoke scene with her???).
Things Besse will not be sued for: Gio delivering the speech at the end with the scenes of all of them together making me cry like a baby and literally every single thing in this season.

share the love con panels
thought i’d write down some interesting answers from the cast (there were many more, but i have a bad memory and i took only a few notes)
first of all, before the panels even started the staff told us not to ask questions about season four, we know they are filming it, but they can’t talk about it. so yeah, our hopes and dreams of an announcement or besse making a surprise appearance (🤡) didn’t come true. they never talked about it, when you mentioned it to them they raised their hands or zipped their mouths or were like “idk what u’re talking about 👀😇😬” so obviously they contractually have to keep their mouths shut. but it’s happening y’all!
the only one who slipped, at the very last panel, was rocco and i was the culprit lol. i asked them if they’d imagined the fandom would support them and fight so hard during the cancellation months and bea said no, seeing our hashtags trending almost every day and receiving so much love was touching and incredible. she made rocco talk (mentioned how “he became saint rocco”) and rocco also said he couldn’t imagine the amount of support, and that “the power is all in your hands, and it was worth it-“ and then realized he spoke too much dhshdhfvk the others side-eyed him and he was like “ops” but we all laughed and moved on.
pietro had a lgbtq+ themed panel with an italian youtuber called shanti. they talked a lot about representation, how it changed for the better in the last 20 years or so, how for example right now there’s attention being given to trans* storylines too, and pietro made some really good points about how a show like skam italia should give hope and a positive representation to a young audience, without unnecessary violence or struggles inserted just for tragedy’s sake. how it may seem that martino lives an “easy” and relatively painless experience coming out and being gay, at least in his season, but young queer people should hope and know that that’s possible for them too. he said that he and filippo are different, and it’s good and precious that they are. we don’t know if filippo is an activist, like pietro is, but sometimes sharing one’s personal experience is enough to help. even if filo is not shown as an activist, he is so aware of his identity, he shares his own experience and point of view with marti and it gives marti courage. and that’s enough. finally, i asked what his favorite lgbtq+ tv shows are and he said queer as folk (he realized he was gay thanks to qaf), he absolutely loved euphoria, and thinks sense8 is a masterpiece (but he didn’t finish it smh). he said elite is just cute (😤) and he also told another fan he finished and loved fleabag!!
i also asked pietro what he, besse, rocco and fede were doing in the carrefour parking lot that night in august and he said that supermarket is open 24h and close to his house and he had to go buy groceries so he caught two birds with one stone, called them up and they drank and ate tramezzini (cold sandwiches, besse got a burrito he said) in the parking lot... and yes, they were organizing the revolution.
fede said what he likes the most about martino is his devotion to the people he loves. what he doesn’t like is how sometimes he shuts out the rest of the world, but it’s a problem he has learned to solve.
rocco said he’s thankful that skam italia has given him more awareness on some topics he used to treat superficially. he also talked about how much he relied on ludo and his research to portray bpd respectfully, and he’s glad that people found themselves represented in nico and that he could help them. it’s the greatest compliment. his eyes shine when he talks about nico, he loves his character so much.
a fan asked what was their favorite line to say. rocco’s is “non è figo il mio tipo?”, greta’s is “gli dei sono immortali”, nicholas’s is “sei frocio?”, pietro’s is “l’acqua solo se mi prende fuoco camera” from season 3, fede said “does it have to be my line? cause i like no zì sbagliato” but for his own it’s “minuto per minuto”. i can’t remember bea’s 😭
greta said the girls tend to stick to the script a lot more than the boys, she said ludovico tersigni literally never says a line how it’s written. nicholas confirmed that the boys (contrabbandieri) tend to improvise more and use the script sort of as a base, and that they piss besse off because he says it looks like they go on set just to goof around and gossip and not to do their jobs lol
i asked nicholas if they ate luchino’s pizza crusts. he said he had like 7 kilos of them because they had to retake that scene many many times, cause they wouldn’t stop laughing, as we can see in the bloopers (he also said it was the most fun scene to shoot) and bessegato would just keep adding mustard, ketchup and mayo on them. he felt sick the day after and “tasted mustard for a week”. fyi, nicholas and luchino are literally the same person. there’s no line between the character and the person, i love him so much. he also said he was having the time of his life in bracciano, with the light summer breeze, while the others were dying in their clothes and blankets.
marti’s spirit animal is the fox, fede’s is a golden retriever (debatable but okay). i think rocco said a cat, greta said besse once told her silvia is a goldfish, bea feels like a tiger but thinks sana is an eagle and i didn’t get the rest cause it was all very confusing lol
federico’s panel on sunday was actually very interesting, he is actually quite eloquent and deep when he wants to. he talked about how he really took the “minuto per minuto” philosophy to heart. how he doesn’t set long-term goals for himself, because he wants the freedom to change. how he chose to study medicine because after high school he knew he wanted to keep studying, and a bit like acting, there’s a fundamental human aspect to it that he’s always been interested in.
a fan reminded him it was marti and nico’s anniversary and he said “how are they celebrating? patatine e marmellata or sushi? in nicco’s new house? have our heroes moved there?” and we were all like Bitch u tell us... ofc he didn’t. but he said he imagines marti and nico celebrating their anniversary at a sushi restaurant in porto fluviale, in ostiense (rome). also, fede says their anniversary is bracciano (dec 1st) and rocco says it’s nel mio letto (nov 1st), i’m afraid we have to go with fede on this one.
i think the best question out of every panel was about marti’s interest in gio: was it real, or was it just a fixation? he said it was real interest, that stayed over the summer too. he and ludo had to find a way to show the shift in martino, and it was hard because they switched seasons and so there was no time for it to be gradually shown. however, where they imagined that shift to happen, is in ep1 when gio sleeps in marti’s bed. marti feels uneasy because of his feelings for him, but at the same time, he is uneasy because of the guilt. when he talks with eva on the phone and sees how giovanni reacts to that, how he’s still so clearly into her, he decides he has to move on from him, and gives up any hope or idea to have a relationship with him.
at rocco and fede’s sunday panel, rocco said he admires federico’s dedication to his work and his professionalism. fede and him bantered and bickered a lot, it was adorable, especially when rocco said some nonsense metaphor and fede was like “basta!” and fede kept asking for more compliments. but the question was about what marti and nico liked the most about each other, and federico said “it’s the kind of love where you like someone so much and you don’t even know why” as in, because you like everything about them, so that was beautiful.
a fan asked if there was any embarrassment between them, they said of course initially there was a lil bit of awkwardness, but they warmed up to each other immediately. one of the very first scenes they shot was an intimate one, rocco said the first kiss they shot was nel mio letto and they’d never rehearsed kissing before. amazing.
fede’s favorite color is blue (nicholas’ too).
rocco and nicholas sat in the crowd at the end of fede’s panel and rocco was like “tell us the story of bambi” and fede called him “er lucertola” and said it all started because of a tossico (junkie/drunk), i love them. nicholas made fun of him for his role in “i cesaroni” but fede said he’s only jealous cause they auditioned for the same role but fede got it, and nicholas has him saved as “andy dei cesaroni” in his phone.
some anecdotes from other moments (m&g, dinners) i found on twitter: federico said when they shot la grotta, there was this whole solemn atmosphere, and then he broke it cause when they finished shooting he realized he had rocco’s snot on his face and he was like “MA CHE CAZZO È, CHE SCHIFO (what the fuck, gross)” and said rocco was always crying on him (i guess referring to the martino e niccolò clip) and rocco was like yes there was a significant exchange of bodily fluids. okay rocchì.
apparently fede likes his beard so much he said he doesn’t recognize himself without it.
some fans adopted two giraffes in the bioparco di roma in their name as a gift!
rocco cried on the phone with bessegato when skam italia was cancelled. we been knew but it hurts to get the confirmation.
maxence and lukas are two rays of sunshine. not an anecdote, but i felt like saying it.
last but not least, rocco, nicholas and fede went absolutely batshit over @crazybee‘s “alt er besse” shirt. their reactions were priceless. rocco and nicholas took pics of them, nicholas was the one who sent them to besse and he reposted it on ig. forever blessed.

I just recently finished rewatching s1 and Marti is so different in it? He's such a little shit and I love him, but this also got me thinking that maybe there was too much of a change between him in s1 and him in s2 for it to be plausible? Isak basically had a whole year to develop but for Marti it was only summer break. What do you think?
@crazybee and i actually talked abut this recently, you know.
i also rewatched s1 and i too noticed that he seems pretty different than in s2 (including his clothing, although i must say i’m glad they got rid of the snapback), but we have to remember that s1 is centered around Eva and, therefore, we only see what she sees of him. we only get to see him when he’s around Gio/Elia/Eva, whereas in s2 we get to witness what he’s really like when he’s alone or at home or with his mother.
i’d say his essence is still the same as we still get little glimpses of him being the same cheeky, lovable little bastard in s2 (ex. 1: “lo sai che mi ricordi? una rana”; ex. 2: not so subtly poking fun at Silvia and the girls; ex. 3: the bantering with Nicco and the Contrabbandieri), however, it is pretty apparent that the boy went through a lot of changes during the summer.
on the one hand, i think that it partially was Ludovico taking a shortcut because he needed Marti to be in a different state of mind for s2, but, on the other hand, i also consider it possible for a 16/17 y.o. to change quite quickly.
even though there’s only a, what, 5 month span between the end of s1 and the beginning of s2, what Marti goes through is quite traumatic and it can definitely affect a teenager drastically.
of course, the two main occurrences i’m referring to and that prompted his change are:
1. his dad leaving and his mother’s depression. we actually already get told in s1 that Marti was really shaken up by that, and it becomes blatant in s2 that he has deep-rooted issues with both his parents.
2. Eva confronting him. even though he kept lying through his teeth, it probably dawned on him how fucked up what he did was. he then noticed how sad and hurt Giovanni was by the breakup and slowly fully realised (even though i think he always knew in his heart of hearts) that nothing could happen between the two of them — which only left him feeling guilty and ashamed of himself.
on top of all of that, let’s not forget that he was still struggling with his sexuality at that point. he hadn’t come out to anybody yet, and he hadn’t even fully accepted it himself.
we also now know that he doesn’t want to talk about stuff (Dottor Spera had to drag the words out of him) and that he’s really good at isolating himself, so that’s probably what he did during the summer months. he was just being… silently heartbroken — and i guess that would take a toll on anybody.
sooooo, in short: i don’t think his character development was too forced to be plausible, no

for skam fr, it's not gonna be my absolute favorite cause i really can't choose one, but it's the first one that came to my mind : eliott and lucas' first kiss. it was so well acted, i actually felt the relief they must've felt and axel & maxence have a great chemistry, the cinematography was amazing with the part in the cave with the lamp on and off and the camera circling around them, the music choice and cut, the symBOLISM- basically i'm still not over it
in nl, it may look like an insignificant scene but the part in s1 where isa is with i think liv and janna? and they're shouting things from the rooftops, it felt really freeing, it was a nice friendship moment, and the lightning & music choice was great (also, wish that was me i could clearly use a screaming session from a rooftop)
in italia s2, the post ep 7 morning!!! marti and nicco are so soft in this scene, also the song choice was nice and very skam (and props to italia for being the only remake to have given us this exact scene) + including the boys in the other room cleaning and singing and being goofs was geNIUS the boy squad is imo one of the best things if not the best in italia s2

Where is Nicco???
Lately, it's what anyone who has seen the clip 02 ep06 S03 had been asking. Well, I decided gave it a thought to try to find an posible answer:
According with the first party ( chi rompe paga Party) we saw Martino get bullied by two creppy guys who obviously want to take advantage of a drunk Eva. They insulted Marti using the word “gay” in its more despicable meaning but Marti don´t fall in their trap. However, they want to fight with him and here is where Giovanni appear to defend his friend and then, the Villa Boys threw these assholes to the streets.
Nicco was at the party, too but Giovanni was for Marti. Nicco didn´t move.Reasons to favor or against to explain this actitud were written but i will not stop to refer them; showing the facts is enough for now.
At the last party (Pascua party?) we didn´t see how the fight started but saw Giovanni make a checking about Marti´s condition in obvious reference to him being hit by the same intolerant guy of this gang. Marti don´t want his friend get in big trouble but Giovanni let him to Lucchino and goes to fight against the offenders. There are not traces of Niccolo in anywhere to see.
With these references, we can appreciate the following facts:
Each time Marti is in trouble, Nicco is nowhere to be found.
Giovanni is who stand by Marti everytime it is happen.
So, who deserve Marti´s love the most is Giovanni, not Nicco.
Why??
Because Nicco is so useless he can't give to his lover a proper support ( in this case a fighting, even if he fails doing it)
As we can't see if he really cares about Marti, more sure, he doesn't.
Giovanni CAN DEFEND his friend´s honor anytime he need it. So, Marti can be relieved to get his security and integrity in good hands AND for these reasons, he should considerate seriusly become his best friend in his lover or get someone similar to him intead of Nicco. After all Gio cares buckets about Marti and knew him the most.
My opinion:
I guess Marti can fight to well for his own, don´t need anyone to fight for him or defend him as a sort of lady on disgrace. Maybe the things could become bad and he needs support of his friend and it's a relief he can count with it very soon, but, as I say, he is totally able to defend this own honor.
Marti as a pacifist is a good thing too, but he can´t let any asshole disrespect him easily. He has to be able to understand when enough is enough and when defending his position is a good matter to fight not only for him, also by his friends. If he don´t understand that, I fear he wouldn´t be able to protect his deare ones when the time comes.
Marti fall in love with Nicco and accept him just the way he is. He is not looking for someone who protect him, he was looking for someone who love and understand him. Caring each other goes included in the packet I know, and I´m sure Nicco cares a LOT about Marti in his own way and Marti is happy with that, because he is happy to have Nicco in his life.
I`s a certain Nicco is not made for fighting: His body and physical force are not helping. I´m sure he would get in panic if he see any sort of trouble and he would prefer to run away as soon as possible to stay. Possibly, he fears fighting and troubles not just by his mental condition but because he always has lived protected for his family or his girlfriend. He is like epicurean guy, he takes all the pleausure, but not the pain. Maybe, he could be considered selfish; however, i guess his love for Marti is genuine, even when we can´t see it represented on screen all the time.
In conclusion:
It´s useless try to figure what would be the perfect match for this or that person when we don´t even take in consideration the own´s person preferences.
The person who fight for us is not always the best choose as mate. Fight for us is a good thing but we has to be able to grow up and stand with our own feet, to make us proper for our love ones.
Being helpless or weak don´t make us unfit to love or being loved because, even it could sound crazy, always there's someone for us somewhere, there's no telling where love may appear, so...don´t judge.

Monday 13:40 - Martino
Standing next to Nicco in a practically pitch black room wasn’t doing the best for Marti’s nerves. It was literally called a dark room. And, true, Marti had weeks to prepare himself for this, but instead, he kept hanging out with Nicco under the sun or in bright places, constantly re-scheduling this learning how to develop films thing.
“So, it’s really easy to do. I already prepared the solutions here.” Nicco said showing two big containers. “One is for the picture to appear and the other is for it to be set.”
Marti just shook his head up and down and wiped the sweat off of his hands to his jean. He could hear Gio or Eva making fun of him at the back of his mind.
“I swear it’s not complicated.” Nicco said with a little laugh and Marti knew Nicco did that to calm him down but it did the opposite effect.
Nicco’s laugh only made him more nervous and more unsure of where to put his hands.
“Yeah, yeah. I trust you.” Marti was only ably to say with an anxious smile.
“Back in the days it used to be so hard, they say.” Nicco continued moving onto the machine. “But now, you just cut up the piece of the film and put it here…” he added now, showing what to do on the machine. “…and put the photography paper underneath. Meanwhile, to be able to see better Marti had gotten really close to the machine so close to Nicco. He wasn’t faking it; Marti actually wanted to pay attention to everything Nicco was talking about. Photography was something Nicco was passionate about and Marti respected that. He was getting to know Nicco for the past weeks and this was knowing him too.
This closeness though, didn’t work quite as well as he planned because as soon as Nicco’s sentence was over he turned his face to Marti and now, there were mere inches between them.
Marti knew it was his turn to talk but with their hands and lips and bodies almost touching with him feeling Nicco’s breaths on him, Marti was just speechless. Either he imagined it or it actually happened but Marti could swore he saw Nicco move forward and he did too.
But, of course, the door flung open at that moment.
“Oh, shit.” somebody cursed. “I didn’t realize you were working Nicco. Hope I didn’t ruin the film.”
Yeah, you ruined something, Marti thought but kept his mouth shut because one, he was well behaved and two, how the hell would he even say that out loud.
“No, no. We didn’t start yet.” Nicco said taking a few steps back.
While Nicco was talking with his friend he kept looking at Marti and Marti’s nervousness left its place to a sweet excitement.

“Drinking with me means talking, you know that right?” Giovanni asked to Elia and took a big sip from his drink.
“Oh, yeah. People have warned me.” Elia said rolling his eyes. “Is it okay if I smoke here?” Elia asked basically pointing around in the living room.
“Well, I smoke and Marti is a social smoker and half the people that comes to our house smoke something so it’s fine.” Gio replied with a little smile.
Giovanni thought, in hindsight, maybe they should stop smoking. He was one of the people that was aware of the harms of nicotine and kept on going. At least he wasn’t getting high anymore and that was something.
“So why are you smoking?” Gio asked a few seconds later with raised eyebrows.
“You know nicotine is very addictive. Once you try it, you can never let go.” Elia shot back with a smirk.
Gio laughed a little and felt like he finally met his match.
“Come on.” Gio started throwing his head to a side and shaking his empty hand in the air. “Give me something. A theme. Family? School? More personal?” Gio started counting. “Love?” he finally said with a cheeky smile.
Elia shook his head and laughed at every item up until the last one. It caused a second of silence followed by a more awkward laugh.
“For you information…” Giovanni continued taking a sip from his beer. “People call me ‘the wizard of love.’” he finished off with a smirk.
Well, this did not translate as well as he hoped to Elia because he bursted out laughing. Gio reached for the closest pillow to throw into Elia’s face but unfortunately there was no pillow within his arms’ reach.
“Yeah, and that's why you have that look on your face whenever someone mentions Eva’s name.” Elia said still laughing.
Gio wanted to argue but he knew what Elia was talking about. It was like knee-jerk reaction. He just couldn’t stop himself from tuning into the conversation with knitted eyebrows whenever Eva’s name was mentioned. He was curious. It was Eva.
“Okay, then, talk to me because I could understand.” Gio replied with a half smirk, trying to play it cool.
A few seconds passed and Gio saw something shift in Elia’s eyes. It was like he weighed off the options, Gio knew that sometimes the distance helps and they knew each other shorter than any of Elia’s other friends.
“We weren't exactly dating.” Elia said finally with a sigh. “Not like you and Eva.” he continued while peeling off the tag on his beer. “I wanted more and…” a beat and Elia continued without looking up. “…he didn’t.”
Giovanni remembered the time Marti came out to him: all nervous, scheduling a special FIFA date. Right now, Elia just threw that information in. It was casual so Gio needed to act casual too, to match his energy.
“Well, that sucks.” Giovanni said with a shrug and Elia looked up. “But I bet, you can always find somebody better. I mean who wouldn’t want Elia Santini.”
With that Elia chuckled a little and then started laughing. He reached to Giovanni and raised his bottle so that they would clink them together.
“Cheers, I’ll drink to that.” Elia said, still laughing.
some notes: well, hello, hello. look who it is, me! coming back, what, like 3 months later. in my defence, universities aren’t really understanding about that fact that we are in a pandemic and all and they prefer to drown us in school work. anyway, i do plan do continue this story in a more calculated and organized way even if only a few people read it because i do enjoy writing it. as always, open to any feedback!

(i hate being that person but here it goes)
marti and nicco broke up in season 4 but at least we got to see marti put his foot down. and as a viewer i thought it was a stupid move that he broke up with nicco but so did his best friends. and maybe he was right in his mind because we were in sana’s pov and we don’t know exactly what they talked before and after the fight. and then we actually got to see them communicate but because it was sana’s pov we didn’t see their actual talk. but that’s okay because it was sana’s pov, that’s how it should be.
eva and malik kissed but there was actually an explanation for that. it wasn’t that they were dating or that the two organized the kiss to make sana jealous. eva was confused, malik was taken aback. after that eva just helped malik with sana. no tricks.
maybe there wasn’t a worded apology from the girls to sana but maybe actions speak louder than words. maybe them waiting for sana, destroying that girl’s cars (turns out not) is the way they made up.
we know what marti and sana and eva are planning for university. i know enough about the other characters to make a guess for them. i know that luca seems to feel like his talents are not enough and he proudly accepts the role of being the funny one in the group. i know silvia’s insecurities comes from her dad and it wasn’t used for any drama. i guess that with the girls and the boys hanging together a lot elia developed a crush on the only other girl, sana and that he is yet to fall in love. i saw that under all his funny self filippo deals with serious stuff too.
it all started with a handful of characters and strangers and ended with a big family. i have seen all their fights and tears and jokes and i get to say goodbye to the characters that i loved for 4 seasons. and even when i said goodbye i learned a whole ton about them.
it all started with eva reading gio’s letter and it ended with gio reading eva’s letter. gio didn’t even try to move on from her in s2, eva was still jealous in s3, they still had a connection in s4. they brought everyone together, like really together. it ended with a positive message. that you are not alone, that with people around you you can achieve anything.
it’s THE goodbye. i got a conclusion and i am satisfied with how they ended everything. and i have forgotten how rare it was to feel that. so i am not taking it for granted. i love skamit s4.

skam italia is all about details
Lately, I have been missing Skamit a lot. Like a lot. And I keep thinking about why it is so special for me, why I like it so much. I think I found one answer. One of the reasons I love Skamit is because of it’s attention to little details, which makes everything better.
Unlike many other Skam Remakes Eva and Giovanni are loved by a good portion of the fandom. People are actively rooting for them to get back together while in other versions most people are indifferent. So, let’s look at all the detail in them. First, there are the little quirks. In multiple scenes, we can see Giovanni playing with Eva’s hair which is a tiny detail but after seeing it all the time, I started to believe in their relationship even more. Or the fact that they have their own thing, ‘little koala’. Another detail is how they slightly changed that fight in the middle of the street scene of Eva and Jonas. Giovanni finds Eva because he knows that she would go there. Making everything about their relationship once again more real.
Let’s move onto our beloved boy squad aka contrabbandieri. I have seen other posts about how even the camerawork doesn’t only focus on Marti and Gio but all four of them. When Luca got added to the group we got the story of how they met, giving their dynamic another depth. We got their little friendship rituals too like how they are playing foosball and have their little punishment of those who lost going under the table. (And I know foosball might be about the country but they chose to add those scenes in). Or how we actually saw Giovanni staying over at Martino’s and interacting with Marti’s mom. That detail is what makes me believe that they have been friends for a long time.
A general detail could be the places/locations that we keep seeing. Like Il Baretto. Throughout all the seasons, I think, we have seen the girl squad aka le matte hang there, study there, the boys hang there etc. And it’s such a nice detail because at least when I was in highschool we had places like that we constantly went to. Or Bracciano. Like how it was in s2 too because it makes sense that when your friend has a place like that you keep going.
Another detail I like is how they incorporated Nicco to the boy squad and rest of the group. Sure, he might have his own friends/world but you become close friends with your boyfriend’s friends too. So we get to see that detail with Nicco plotting to get Silvia and Elia together, even coming up with the idea. We see that when he is casually hanging out with Eva, Eleonora, Filippo.
And with Edoardo and the Villa Boys. The William character is always shown to have his own clique but Skamit I think made that better and showed those boys not as a clique but as a friend group just like contrabbandieri is. And it’s not even like a plotline. All the times we see them together in flashes, in montages, how Edoardo dances with Chicco Rodi, how Edoardo is with Fede etc.
I do think Skamit can show the bigger group, all of the squads together more and because I am a sucker for the found family trope I want to see all these different characters together. But, I still think Skamit did a good job of that. Just the way the fight played out in s3 shows that. And it tells us a lot about the characters. Even though they came for Marti first and then others the big fight isn’t a planned one. When attacked Elia asks Villa Boys’ help and they do help. Again, a good detail.
Finally, I don’t know if this counts as detail but if it does I actually think Skamit has one of the most consistent characterizations between seasons. It is true that because Skam has different povs the characters might seem different or more likely, we get to see a different side of them in each season. Like Giovanni season 1 and Giovanni season 2 have a different vibe to him. And that fits with the format. But Giovanni s1 and s2 also feel like the same character, like him or other characters aren’t acting out of character.
So, there are probably more examples of that. These are just some of the things I have been thinking about. If you have read all this thank you for reading this long analysis type of post. I just wanted to write about how much I appreciate this. And I miss Skam Italia so much.

Part 3 // This one is a little long, a little smutty at the start
Since Marti is distracted, a little too tired, Nico reminisces about last night, just now able to fully connect the hazy memories together. They didn’t take a shower, so he still feels...hot all over. His jaw is sticky with the sloppy kisses Marti gave him, his mouth open, pressed against Nico’s jaw when he came. He remembers his dry throat asking Martino to go slower and how it took him a second to come back to the present time and understand what Nico was asking, slowing down, maybe a little too slow even.
Nico knew his omega was loud and clear and a little jealous when he asked in between kisses if they could not use a condom and how Martino looked him dead in the eyes and nodded his head. Nico can’t remember being more turned on in his life. Maybe they made a mess on their way to the bedroom, pushing furniture away, putting each other on top of tables, counters…
Nico is sure there are marks everywhere on both their bodies because they were not careful last night. They were both desperate, letting their alpha and omega finally meet and do whatever they had to do and it was mind blowing.
He knows the back of Marti’s head is probably stinging still. He remembers holding it a little too tightly because he was desperate, he needed Martino to look at him and see how much he loved him, how much they are still a thing for Nico.
“Gio said that you’ve been working out.”
“What?” Martino opens his eyes suddenly, very confused and probably angry because from what Nico can tell on Marti’s face, he is sure Gio wasn’t supposed to be giving him any information about how Martino was doing while they were broken up.
“What? You think I don’t ask about you? You think they don’t want to tell me how you’re doing?”
“They were my friends, I supposed they would respect my privacy.” Martino looks away to the side like a stubborn little child.
“They are our friends and they do respect your privacy, but you’re being stubborn now.” Martino tries to move, to push Nico aside so he can leave, but Nico doesn’t let him.
“Fuck, Nico, if this is about a fucking interven-”
“Hey, hey, it’s not. It’s not. They talk because I ask nonstop, stop being so grumpy with the ones that are always on your side. They didn’t choose me, Martino, but I know how to be annoying to get what I want. And I wanted to know how you were doing...” Nico gently moves his hands up from Martino’s chest, touching his cheeks, following the freckles, “I needed to know if this distance was killing you the way it was killing me.”
Martino closes his eyes again, moving to lie on his back again, covering his eyes with his arm and Nico lets him, still watching quietly.
“I’m proud of you for taking care of yourself...I never thought someone would ever manage to convince you to work out. You’re lazy, you know…”
“Yeah, I guess anger is a good fuel to make me do it.”
Nico smiles even though he shouldn’t because he knows where Martino is trying to go. But Martino is still the grumpy creature he remembers so maybe there’s a way to his heart again. Maybe Niccolo can build a relationship between them again, another one because the first one he lit on fire and watched it burn in front of his eyes, with punches and curses. He won’t mind if he has to do all the work this time. Martino is worth it.
“I thought you were mine.” Martino lets it slip suddenly and Nico looks up at him again, at Martino’s arm, still covering his eyes.
“I am.” Nico says without thinking too because it’s that simple to him.
“You had sex with him.”
Nico swallows hard, his fingertips touching the seam of the pillow underneath Marti’s head, trying to find some comfort on the texture and counting the little circles the stitches make. He shouldn’t have and he has no excuse for it. Even though it was a mistake that happened months and months ago, Nico knew what he was doing, how it would ruin him for Martino if he ever gave Nico a second chance.
“I can hear you thinking.” Martino pushes the sheets away from him, slowly sliding to the side, away from Nico, pressing his palms against his eyes to dry his tears as he gets up, putting his clothes on.
“I made a mistake.” Is all Nico can say, knowing Martino can smell all over him how it pains him to admit what happened.
“Do you like him?” Martino stops on the side of the bed, close to the wall behind him, putting his hands down and back to lean against them on the wall.
Nico sits on the bed, so nervous and anxious he has a hard time turning his thoughts into words that’ll make sense together.
“What? No, Martino. We’ve been through this. I love you and I’m yours. I chose to be yours and I’m so happy I did. No matter how many times you run away, as grumpy as you can be, I won’t make the same mistake again. And I’ll wait for as long as you need until you run out of your grumpiness and anger and disappointment.”
“I thought you were the one who wouldn’t fuck me over, Nico. I expected even from Gio. To walk away one day when he and Eva work their issues out, but I thought we were solid, that I could trust you and you wouldn’t walk away. I’m fucked up in every way possible, but I thought you were able to handle it.”
Niccolo crosses his legs in front of him, stuttering again, clenching his jaw not to break down. Martino gives him the time Nico is silently asking for this time, hoping Marti won’t leave him while he’s diggesting how badly he hurt Martino. They both stay silent for so long that Martino decides to move from the wall, sitting on the arm chair close to the window.
“Are you seeing someone else?” Nico asks without meaning to, finally looking at Martino again. He lifts his head too, looking at Nico, a little surprised it seems.
“You don’t know that already? I thought the information was finding its way to you.”
“They’re not snitching on you. They answer what I ask. I didn’t ask them that, I wanted to hear it from you.”
Niccolo doesn’t really want to hear it, but he brought them to this and now he has to hear it.
“I can still smell Luai sometimes. In your bed, in the bathroom,” Martino changes the subject and Niccolo looks around like he’ll find proof of what Marti is saying, but of course he doesn’t. Martino probably has his senses heightened by anything that can belong to Luai.
“Stop searching then.”
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me, Niccolo. You’re fucking someone else and you ask me what I’m doing?”
“I’m not! Martino! Stop! I’m not fucking anyone else. Yeah, he slept here a few times, we had a thing for a month or even less. And that was a long time ago.” Niccolo mindfully breaths slower, in and out. He’s tired, so tired and he doesn’t know what else to say. Martino is that stubborn that he won’t listen unless it’s what he wants to hear.
“I love you. I’ve always been in love with you. You wanna know about me and Luai? You’re not gonna leave it alone until you hear it, so okay. We had sex. More times than I could remember, but it was just sex, it was just us being dumb,” Nico can tell Martino is not liking hearing all of that, his hands grabbing the arms of the chair so tightly it makes his fingers even paler, his chest moving quicker and deeper with each breath, but Nico needs to give him some of his own medicine.
He sees Martino opening his mouth, asking him to stop, but he doesn’t listen, Martino needs honesty and so Nico will give it to him, as raw and honest as he needs him to be, “We were needing proof that we would never work. I don’t love him, never did, never will. Because he’s not you. No matter how much you think he’s more important, he’s not. He’s a friend now, not even a close one. I can’t stop thinking about you. Since Luai, I never had sex with anyone else, I didn’t even kiss anyone else.”
“Stop. I get it.” Martino says firmly this time, his eyes filling with water and Nico wants to hold him, to kiss him until their lips get sore again, asking him to come back home. Martino asked for honesty and now Nico is ready to give it to him. He understands everything clearly and he wishes he could have felt this way before, a year ago, when Martino needed to know where his heart was and Nico stuttered for a second, more than enough time to burn the bridge between them.
“I wish you knew how tired I am. I’m sure it’s all over my smell, but you can’t bring yourself to smell it, just constantly looking for proof that I’ve been with someone else.”
“I haven’t.” Marti cuts his sentence again and Nico frowns, a little bit in shock, “I haven’t had sex after you. Trust me, I tried. Guess I was too shitfaced to make it happen when I tried.” Martino is not looking at him when he confesses. He slips down the chair, looking up at the ceiling and Nico can’t help but feel a little happy and relieved. He can totally picture a drunk Martino trying to have sex with strangers, probably so grumpy it made whoever it was lose the interest.
“I’m happy.”
“Because you’re selfish.”
“More like desperate. You’re an alpha, my alpha. We’ve been apart for a year. I was so scared...you would find someone else.” Nico admits, remembering of the nights of sleep he lost, thinking about Martino merging with someone else.
“You were with an alpha. You actually dated another one. I was in a lot more risk than you think you were.”
Nico smiles even though he knows he shouldn’t, “No, you weren’t. You just don’t wanna accept it. I was never his, Martino, not like this. Not like us. Never would have happened.”
“This conversation is pointless.” Martino sighs, annoyed, still staring at the ceiling.
“It’s not. I’m not letting you go now. You’re here now, you’re back, even if you don’t want to. If you came here, it’s because you still care. And if you walk out that door, I won’t stop trying until you accept me back.”
“I knew when you were having a heat.” Martino moves his head to the side so they can see each other, “Thought I was going to lose my mind. I had to argue with Gio to lock me inside his house. Imagine if I came here and you were with Luai.” Martino laughs ironically, “Would love to hear you asking me to stop punching him again.”
Nico bites the inside of his cheek. Martino does not want to know what happened during the first heat he got after their break up.
“When I was alone, it was painful. Thankfully you forgot some of your clothes here. I wish Gio didn’t listen to you.”
Nico doesn’t elaborate, Martino knows him, no matter how much he tries to fight it now, and he knows Nico is talking about Martino coming home to help Nico with his heat, not about punching his ex.
“Like I said, guess the going up and down mountains every morning helped me after the first few.” Nico stretches his legs straight again, slowly lying down, closing his eyes. Martino won’t ever be the same, he’ll never give Niccolo a real chance. He’ll always find ways to not trust him.
“I wish you would just do it.” Nico can’t see, but he’s sure Martino was too inside of his own head to understand what he’s saying so he continues to make himself understood completely. “Bite me. We both want it, you just pretend you don’t.”

Can we have more hurt Marti? 🥺 Like something physically and Nico being a protective boyfriend
Could you write some kind of car accident where Marti and Nicco are involved and Nicco feels guilty because Marti results a lot more injured Maybe with protective Gio
Nico can’t stop staring even though he should. Martino is clearly in a bad mood, needing all the attention Nico can give him, but he can’t stop thinking how this is mainly his fault.
He should have kept his eyes on the road at all times. He wouldn’t mind getting hurt, but he caused all this injuries in Martino. His broken arm and deslocated soulder, the huge bruise on the side of his whole face. Nico can’t stop thinking about lying on the hot asphalt, desperately looking around, finding Martino a few meters from him, his arm wasn’t in a normal position and Martino wasn’t really responding to the strangers trying to help them, he was in shock and Nico got so worried.
"I'm gonna take care of you for the rest of my life,” He thinks out loud and Martino looks at him, forcing himself to move when he shouldn’t. Nico sits closer to make him stay in place, but Martino is stubborn and he’s surprisingly bad at staying still like the doctor said he had to do for the next few days.
“You don't have to take care of me, Ni. I'm okay." Martino answers, needing to turn his body a little so he can hold Nico’s hand with his good one. Nico is sure this can’t be good for his already half broken and weak body so he gently pushes Martino back to lie flat on his back.
Niccolo didn’t have the courage yet to tell Martino he was unconscious for a few hours after his surgery to fix his arm. The doctors took the medication off, but Martino didn’t wake up right away. The doctor said it could be because his body was in pain, in shock and still needing recovering, but he didn’t sound sure.
“But I want to. I want to ask if you need anything, what you want for breakfast..."
“You.” Martino says lightly and Nico looks at him, not finding it funny right now.
“Martino...”
“Sorry. It’s not a lie though.” Nico is still looking at him, trying to recognize his boyfriend underneath all the injuries, but he’s almost crying just thinking about the pain Marti might be feeling and not telling him. “Can you come to the other side? I wanna hold your hand.”
Niccolo nods his head, going around the bed to sit on the other side and Martino doesn’t wait a second, holding his hand carefully, moving it up to touch Nico’s face and then he remembers about his own bruise on his cheekbone, nothing even close to what Martino has around his eye.
“Is it hurting?” Martino tries to change the subject and Nico doesn’t want to argue, so he shakes his head, quietly holding Martino’s hand to kiss his palm, still looking at him.
“Not at all.”
“Is Gio here?” Nico carefully lies down as close as he can to Martino, gently putting his hair back so it doesn’t stick to the medication on the cut over his eyebrow. Martino is still very confused and the doctor said it was normal, so Nico tries not to worry.
“Not right now. He, Eva and Elia went out to get us something to eat.”
“Oh...”
Nico feels needy, like he wants to hold Marti close, tight and never let go, but he can’t, because he was reckless before and now Martino is badly hurt. But his needs are way too loud inside his head, so he just carefully puts his head on Marti’s shoulder and his arm around his waist, feeling how heavy his other arm feels with the cast. “Does it hurt?”
“Huh?” Martino was looking at the door, like he was recognizing the place just now, but he looks at Nico right away, smiling like nothing happened.
“Anything, does it hurt? Are you in pain?” Marti looks away and thinks for a second, maybe just now paying attention to his body and what happened to it earlier, but he shakes his head, brushing his lips against Nico’s forehead.
“Not really. I just feel heavy and...stuck.”
“You’re taking a lot of medication so...I guess it’s good that’s helping.”
“Can you scratch my face? It’s itchy...” Martino frowns and makes a cute face and Nico props himself on his elbow, scratching Martino’s face softly, looking at him until he smiles when Nico touches the right spot. He looks at Nico and gently kisses his lips. “Stop.”
Nico stops with his hand and Martino laughs.
“Not the scratch, Ni, the overthinking. I’m okay. I’m sure I look way worse than I feel...”
Nico goes back to gently scratching Marti’s face and he closes his eyes for a second.
“I just...wish nothing happened to you. It was my fault, it was dumb.”
Martino opens his eyes right away and he tries to sit, but Nico keeps him in place, making him sigh annoyingly and roll his eyes.
“It wasn’t your fault, it was an accident. We were using helmets, there was nothing we could do.”
Nico sighs, not able to get those words through his mind, to actually believe them. Martino wraps his good arm around Nico’s neck and pulls him down and closer, kissing his cheek.
