HEADCANON. Thinking about Sam getting ( or heck, even making ) people stuffed animals, especially of animals that remind her of them. But before she gives it away, she holds each one in her hands and speaks of all the hopes and dreams she has for the person—-things that she can't ever bring herself to say to their face. Especially so if the person she's gifting it to doesn't quite have a 'happy end'.

She knows it's pointless. She knows filling a plushie with wishes won't actually do anything to stop fate, much less make all those wishes come true.

But knowing how powerless she is to do anything, how little she can actually do?

Let her pretend her actions mean something, won't you?

I’m kind of obsessed with the plot about Liz wanting the special mausoleum with all the failsafes to prevent being buried alive and Roger treating her like she’s an idiot. even if she was just paranoid, people REGULARLY get kidnapped and trapped in mausoleums here (including your son!!) like it would not hurt to have something in place so living people can get out

After talking a little with @taiixuan , Tashigi on this blog now owns a Supreme Grade Meito, Shodai Kitetsu, or as many know it as Kitetsu I.

Probably gonna post HCs on this later. Mainly how she was able to nullify the sword's curse ( in which she doesn't believe in cursed swords so that helps a little ).

CONTINUITY UPDATE

THE MOMENT HAS ARRIVED! with book 6 finally ending (yes that shitstorm of a chapter was the ending. PHEW) i am happy to announce that veronica’s continuity will be changing! she is now post-book 6 :) 

what’s going to change about my portrayal of her? admittedly, not much. she was already well on the way into developing when book 5 ended, and i’ve already been writing her as a budding leader ever since i brought her back, albeit, with a bit of her childish edge still there. so expect that to be gone, among other things. another thing that’s gone? her curse!

she no longer has cursed blood thanks to that stupid fruit; so no more headaches, no more angry voices in her head, and no more threats to askran’s lives! hooray! again, it’s not like i’ve been writing her curse all too often in this current version of hers— but it’s still good to note. i’m thinking this makes her less aggressive; less inclined to resort to extreme solutions and more able to think and rationalize. i have much to say about the curse, how it affects her way of thinking, and how the removal of that is going to change her moving forward, but this isn’t the post to explain all that haha.

another thing is: bruno and letizia are officially dead! dead as hell! and veronica’s been through so much this book, aside from that. have we forgotten the fact that she’s been physically mistreated and trapped in a dungeon? um, yikes! talk about some trauma. so make no mistake: all of these will also be affecting how she behaves as well.

and lastly— this is minor, but her appearance has changed! she’s a bit taller now, as well as has shorter hair. make of that as you will.

so, in short, nothing much has really changed about her. the goals i’ve previously stated for her remain true, though my personal goal of her gaining more friends is going to be more conscious on her end. i’m thinking that she’s begun to recognize the need she has for others, and so is trying to allow herself to open up a bit more. of course she’ll lapse from time to time— such is the flow of progress, especially when you’re fighting against a cycle that’s been ingrained in you your whole life— but i hope to make the effort clearer coming from her.

that’s all for the changes! this will only take effect in the threads that have been plotted after making this post, so all of my current threads right now will have old veronica, while the ones made after this will be with the new. how confusing will that be? very. but hey, that’s how it is when you’re working with feh.
