hi. conspiracy theory. read at your own risk.
i am 100% certain that there's a blog person out there who does not like me, because they're literally the oooonly person in this little group of "creators" that post regularly that doesn't follow me.
which is not a problem in itself, but everyone else is more of a "you post, i post, we follow each other" kinda person, and it's just a thing that you do. you know what i mean?
this is gonna make me sound super arrogant, but i think if you get what i'm saying you just get it.
anyway! i see this person in my likes but they - for the LIFE of them - will not reblog my shit.
it almost seems passive aggressive? because i know my posts make more numbers than theirs a lot of the time, and i'm not saying that because it matters to me, but it feels like it matters to them. they're being super outlandish/crazy/overly sexual with what they say, trying to seem so quirky to create a reputation for themselves. and i think they really care about the attention on tumblr, and being regarded to as one of the best blogs in the remedyverse fandom maybe, and i don't really know anyone else who cares that much?
(and if there is, pls tell me their names lmao i don't wanna associate with people who care about like/reblog numbers).
can we all just be here for fun and not for competition???
please?
i'm gonna go back to work now heeheehaha

Hiiii cee, so question, we been knew that all of the couples are some kind of soulmate and are in that shit for life bUt, if u had to think of one or more -for whatever reason- who do you think would be more likely to break up for good?
hmMmm out of all of the couples i feel like maybe librarian!joon and y/n??? i know that opposites attract but in this case they’re literally comPLETE opposites so that might be something that could make them butt heads and eventually break up :-(( like y/n will get too into her head about how she’s not smart and well-read enough for joon which has always always been one of her biggest insecurities in their relationship and joon might find it difficult to make her feel better just because he’s?? not very good at comforting people?? and the argument will start off with something small like namjoon teasing y/n about how she said romeo and juliet was a “trajectory. what’s the word? tramedy?” (she was thinking of traGEDY) and joon would be like heeheehaha how do u not know the word tragedy u silly dum dum >:D but after all this internal buildup y/n will finally snap and just be like yeah!!!! yeah i am stupid!!!! okay!!! i’m a frickin idiot i get it!!!!
“i was kidding!! it was banter!!! you know i’m no good at banter- i just don’t understand why you’re getting so hyped up about thi-”
“well, you’re clearly the smarter one out of the two of us. i’m just the dumbass, right? i’m always the dumbass!” you snap as you slap your book shut, “god, you always have to rub in my face how much better you are than i am-”
“i have never- when have i ever done that?!” namjoon gawks before scoffing, “you’ve been so... so on edge lately and i don’t know if it’s something i’ve done or if it’s something to do with your courses because you won’t talk to me about it-”
“why don’t you go figure it out??” you cross your arms and huff, “you’re the one with the bigger brain-”
“i don’t want to figure it out if you can just tell me the answer right now!” namjoon throws his arms up into the air, “y/n, just talk to me, you know you can talk to me-”
you resist the urge to throW your book at namjoon as you get up off his couch
you can’t explain why you’re getting so worked up over his harmless little comment
it’s just... you know he doesn’t do it on purpose and his intention is never to hurt you but you always feel so inferior compared to namjoon whenever you guys are together
and it’s hard to pretend that everything is okay when the question that’s always on your mind is ‘am i good enough for him?’
he deserves to be with someone who can keep up with all his novel references
someone who understands all the dorky philosophy jokes he makes
it’s not just because you don’t understand what he’s talking about half of the time that you’re feeling this way
it’s hard to explain
you feel like you’ve wasted his time
you feel like he knows he can do better
you feel like he deserves to be with someone who...
who isn’t you.
...
maybe you’re just being dramatic about this but you know that you can’t be here right now
there’s just a loT going through your mind and you need to figure this out on your own without namjoon freaking out in front of you
“oh, i see, so you’re just going to leave, then?” namjoon shakes his head when you start shoving your things back into your purse, “just do what you always do, y/n - panic and leave when things get hard-”
“i think we should break up.” the phrase slips from your mouth before you even realize it and you’re able to pinpoint the exact moment namjoon’s heart splinters in his chest
(his eyes flicker and his shoulders droop)
“wh- what?” namjoon blinks cluelessly, “what do you mean-”
you shrug as you chew on the inside of your cheek anxiously, “we should break up.”
“but- but i-” namjoon’s eyes start to glaze over and you swallow the lump growing in your throat, “i-i don’t- i don’t understand-”
this’ll be better for the two of you in the long run, right? (no)
namjoon will find someone better suited for someone of his stature and you’ll...
well, you’ll probably find someone.
you’re making the right decision, right? (no)
you’re 100% sure about this, right? (no)
if you truly loved namjoon, you know that this is the right thing to do... and you do love namjoon with every fibre of your being, so...
writing this gave me The Depression so i’m stopping here before i fall into an endless pit of miSERY

A Clumsily Perfect Wife
Thank you so much for commissioning me again, @arod7293! Happy belated birthday! ;D
Summary: Felicia finally returned to work after four months of their babies’ birth, and Azura wasn’t happy about it. Alone in their room, the princess started to reminiscence about their days and, especialy, nights together. Perhaps not everything should be left to memory, hm?
Commission info HERE and HERE!
The mornings in Valla were unpredictable: sometimes they would be as hot as a hoshidan summer; other times they would be so cold as the nohrian winter. That morning felt like the latter for Azura.
Her general expression didn't change much, as it didn't whenever she was upset: her face remained serene, though her eyes would be droopy and cold.
In truth, the weather was rather temperate outside the room, but even Felicia could feel the cold atmosphere her wife's mood was causing. Still putting on her thigh-highs, Felicia looked back to the bed, where Azura held her wife's pillow and sulked. "P-please don't make that face, Azura... It was so hard to leave yesterday, too..."
"You know you don't need to work, you're the princess' wife." Azura pouted, upset to be separated from her wife after virtually spending a whole year in her uninterrupted presence.
Eight months in the Astral Realm during her pregnancy as well as the subsequent ninth month back at the real world and Felicia's maternity leave, counting four more months. Azura had grown so used to being surrounded by her wife day and night she'd been pouting (only seen to the trained eye, meaning Felicia's) every single morning since Felicia returned to work.
The maid gasped. "B-but I can't do that! I need to repay Lady Corrin and everyone for taking care of me and allowing me to live here and giving me work and-"
Azura dug her face deeper into Felicia's pillow, "... I know, my love; this is also why I love you so. I will simply need more time to get used to this, forgive me." Her voice sounded muffled as she took in her wife's scent.
Felicia felt her cheeks warming up, which made her bite her lower lip. "I-it's okay, you don't need to apologize! I also miss you a lot every day, but..."
"Hm?" The princess lifted her eyes from the pillow, catching Felicia's embarrassed smile.
"You're just so c-cute when you're pouting, I always get to work feeling energized!" The maid said, placing both hands over her cheeks as they reddened even more.
That also set Azura off, her entire face warming up so, she had to let go of the pillow to catch her breath. "How sneaky, my sweet Felicia..." She chewed on her lower lip, enjoying how well the maid uniform fit onto her wife. She never got tired of it.
The initial cold mood nowhere to be seen, Azura started to feel her body heating up instead. Ah, why was it morning and not evening? They would be able to enjoy themselves fully otherwise...
"I didn't mean to, I'm sorry... You're just so beautiful and I lose myself looking at you and..." The maid went on, sitting on the bed to give her wife a goodbye kiss.
Instead, they lost themselves on each other's gazes, their warm and red cheeks injecting impure thoughts into both of their heads. "Tomorrow IS your day off, after all, hm? I should not pout so much and look forward to it instead, yes?" Azura put one tuft of hair behind her wife's cheek, giggling mentally about how it refused to be anything less than straight and soon fell back to Felicia's cheek.
"Y-yes..." Felicia stuttered, unknowingly opening her mouth to kiss her wife, their breaths intertwining. Once their lips touched, their entire bodies once again felt that immense attraction to one another, wanting nothing more than to share each other's warmths.
Both of them closed their eyes, losing themselves as their tongues rhythmically conjoined inside their mouths. Only when Linnea cooed out of nowhere did they snap out of it, quickly pulling away from each other.
"W-whoops," Felicia placed one hand over her mouth in embarrassment, quickly getting up to check on their babies. "I-I'm off them, kids! Azura..." She said her wife's name under her breath, her cheeks still flushed.
The princess still had her fingers over her lips, surprised and pleased by their kiss. "Good-bye, my love. See you soon." She managed to say before Felicia ran out, then giggled with the memory as Linnea once again cooed, asking for attention.
Azura carefully placed Felicia's pillow back on its usual place and went for the babies' crib. Since they were still very small, they felt more at ease by sleeping side by side; they still couldn't turn on their own either.
"Ah, my babies, how wonderfully happy you both make me every single time I gaze upon you." She hummed, her heart still pounding from the deep kiss. "The fruit of our love." She caressed Shigure's cheek as he slept beside his feet-kicking sister. "Of my first love..." She then placed her hand over Linnea's stomach, making the baby calm down almost immediately.
Gazing upon their children all the while having her wife's taste so fresh over her lips threw Azura down the memory lane: She remembered their first hug, their first hand hold, their first kiss... the first time they said they loved each other. "Your Mother, see," she said softly, leaning one arm over the crib, resting her cheek over it, "is the absolute best person I could ever share these firsts of many with." She licked her lips, "and absolutely the best one to share nights of l- oh, my!" Azura quickly straightened her back, placing her index over her lips. "Hush, children, you did not hear that, hm? What am I thinking..." She chuckled, embarrassed for almost blurting out something so intimate to clueless babies.
Shigure and Linnea both smiled widely, as though seeing the most delicious food, resonating with Azura's giddy feelings. The princess chuckled to herself, to which the babies responded with more wide smiles. "Don't tell your Mother that, hm?" She winked under Linnea's loud laugh and Shigure's sudden wake. "Now, now, don't scare your brother, Linnea. Come here you both, time for breakfast." Never losing her smile, she took one baby with each arm and went to bed, intent on breastfeeding them at the same time as she usually did.
Once again she lost herself in memories, this time from the days she and Felicia shared back at the DeepRealm as they waited for their babies to grow. How wonderful were those days spent on her wife's presence only!
Chewing on her lip, she looked down to the hungry babies, remembering that tomorrow would be her wife's day off. "I can think of a few things..." She whispered to herself, closing her eyes to enjoy the memory that started flowing into her mind.
It was their wedding day. Or rather, night. They had come to terms with their feelings in front of their family and friends, and from then on would always be together.
That meant sleeping together as well.
Felicia hadn't thought that far, honestly. Well, she did, but she never thought the day itself would come; it was a fantasy, more like, and that reflected on her actions: she froze by the doorstep, not knowing which foot to use to come inside.
As she tried to use both, she tripped and fell on her face, throwing the bouquet she still held upwards. "Awawa!"
"Felicia!" Azura caught the bouquet as she helplessly watched her wife fall down, holding a snort in before quickly making her way to Felicia. "Are you alright, my love? Please don't break your nose on our first night as wives..." She crouched as Felicia sat, caressing her wife's (how nice that sounded!) face.
"F-first night..." Felicia widened her eyes, the red over her face a mix of soreness and embarrassment. "I'm- I- uh, I'm not sure- what we should do now and- I-I'm sorry, I'm not good after all, am I..." Overheating, her spinning eyes looked downwards, her heart beating so fast her entire body trembled.
"Oh, my sweet Felicia...!" Azura snorted, wrapping both arms around her wife's (she would never get tired of that!) neck, bringing her close. "If you are that nervous, of course we can take our time -- tonight we can simply talk to put your mind at eas-"
"NO!" Felicia quickly lifted her head, her face so red Azura worried she might self-combust right there and then. "Iwanttomakelovetoyou,Azura!" She said in one breath, forgetting to actually breathe. "I just don't know how to- I asked Flora and Jakob about it, but..."
Blinking with the sudden declaration of love, Azura laughed. "Y-you asked JAKOB? What would a man know of this-?"
The maid's head drooped. "Yeah, that's how he scolded me, too... He almost threw a frying pan on my face."
"Pfft, heeheehaha! My clumsy and adorable wife!" Azura tightened her embrace on her beloved, her body shaking with mirth. She'll never get tired of Felicia! Never! "We can learn together, my sweet! It IS my first time too, after all."
As though remembering how embarrassed she was, Felicia widened her eyes, looking straight into Azura's golden eyes. "R-really? I'm so happy that we're the same... "
"Oh, my sweet... So am I." She caressed her wife's cheek, closing in for a kiss.
For a moment, they felt as though their worried melted. Being inexperienced didn't matter; neither did being clumsy. Or being standoffish.
Just being with each other mattered. Touching each other, feeling one another's deep kiss rolling their tongues inside their mouths. Their skins burning under their fingers, their bodies pulsating from the prospect of being together.
Their summer dresses, so perfectly fit into their bodies, also looked very good on the floor.
Lost in one another's caresses, they rolled their eyes in pleasure as they headed to the bed, so naturally they would be surprised about it later. Felicia leaned her back on the mountain of pillows by the headboard as Azura kissed her passionately, the moonlight illuminating their bodies to one another for the first time.
"You're so beautiful..." They said in unison as their skins seemingly shone in each other's eyes. The battle scars they each held in their bodies only made them seem even more real to the touch; more theirs.
Felicia's uniform hid how... well-adorned she really was underneath, making Azura gulp, her throat suddenly dry. She wondered how the rosy and beautiful nipples would taste, and saw her hand moving before she ordered it to -- towards her wife's nude skin.
Felicia did the same: as Azura knelt in front of her, her hands shyly grabbed the princess' hips, slowly going upwards, to her modest yet shapely chest. They touched each other's bosoms, low moans of pleasure and surprise leaving their throats as their bodies inadvertently moved up and down.
Felicia noticed how strongly Azura reacted to being fondled over her right nipple, making a mental note to stimulate that area more often (and being preemptively embarrassed about it).
"Oh, my Felicia, do not blush so... You'll make me lose my composure." Azura licked her lips, lowering herself so they could once again share a kiss. She did not linger on it, however, moving her lips from her wife's mouth to chin, neck and collarbone.
Felicia squeezed her eyes shut, digging her nails on Azura's back as the princess reached her nipples. The soft and warm breathing over her sensitive area made her strangle a moan, never before thinking she would feel such pleasure in her life.
But Azura wasn't done. She took her time on each nipple, her heart thundering by her ears as once again her hand moved on its own, going towards her wife's inner thigh.
How wet she already was! It made Azura herself moan in anticipation as she ran her fingers through Felicia's inner labia, enjoying on how much the maid quivered quivered and called her name under moans.
The moment she inserted one finger into Felicia's vaginal opening, however, the maid cried out an elongated, "oh, gods...!" making Azura quickly stop on her tracks.
"F-forgive me, my love; did that hurt? I can stop-" She started, already retracting her finger.
"P-please no, don't-ahn... don't take it outt..." Felicia complained, turning her head sideways in pleasure. "I-it felt so good I kinda screamed... I'm sorry." She bit her lower lip, sucking Azura's finger in so much it made the princess huff in anticipacion.
"Don't apologize," Azura said, inserting it deeper, enjoying how Felicia closed one eye, trying to keep herself sane, "I'm not even close to done yet..." She whispered, biting her wife's plump lips, licking them before inserting her tongue into Felicia's mouth, accelerating her finger movements.
"Mhm... Azura-" Felicia pulled her wife closer, putting her left leg over Azura's right one. "N-not just me..." She pouted adorably, making AZURA close one eye in pleasure despite not being touched.
"Ah, how I love you so!" The princess bemoaned, placing her own left leg over Felicia's right one, taking her finger out of Felicia so their vulvas could touch.
The moment they felt their clits rubbing against one another, they both gasped in a pleased surprise, quickly grinding them right after. They hurriedly went up and down, their bodies so in synch they forgot to kiss, breathing in each other's warm breath.
"A-Azura...!" Felicia called over and over, squeezing her eyes in so much pleasure she was afraid she would explode!
The princess dug her nails on her wife's back, their hips movement driving her crazy. "F-felicia, ah, my sweet..." She sucked her wife's neck, unknowingly making a love bite over the pale skin.
Their minds started to fog as they felt their bodies getting hotter and hotter-- the orgasm loomed in for the both of them, making them tremble and accelerate their hips even more.
"F-fuck... I can't- anymore-ahn..." They blurted out in unison as the climax shook them at the same time, the first one out of many, many more.
"I-I love you..." Once again they were in synch, sharing a deep kiss as their insides still pulsated with pleasure, running their hands on one another's hairs.
Ready for another round, Azura rolled her eyes in pleasure as she meant to push her wife back on the pillows, but suddenly Felicia stopped the kiss. Once the princess disentangled herself from her wife's lips, she saw the look of horror in the maid's face.
"F-Felicia? What's happened?"
Gripping at Azura's hair, Felicia mouthed something before finally being able to speak. "Y-your hair... Azura, I froze your hair! Oh my gosh, I'm so, so sorry! Aawawa, I really can't have a single right thing happening!!" She covered her mouth with both hands in horror as an entire lock of Azura's hair finally touched the princess' back, making her feel the chill.
Azura couldn't take it.
Look at how HORRIFIED Felicia was for simply being the most adorable wife in the world!
"Pfft... heeheehaha!" Azura trembled, falling on top of her naked wife, her body shaking with mirth. "My silly, sweet Felicia! Do not worry about a silly lock of hair and kiss me!" She laughed.
"Y-you're not mad?" Felicia pressed her lips into a thin line, watching how Azura leaned on her elbows, their chests touching, and smiled.
"Whyever should I be, Felicia? You just gave me the most wonderful night of my life! Even this frozen hair is a precious memory -- of how you'll always be my adorably clumsy wife forever!"
"N-not foreverrr, I wanna be prim and proper someday..." She pouted, which prompted Azura to laugh even more. "Hey! I'm serious!"
"Of course you are, my love! And I'll support you for life! But now, I beg of you, kiss me!" She smiled brightly, cupping her wife's face before quickly stealing yet another kiss, their night far from over.
Ah, how wonderful that night had been!
Smiling, the princess reached to the very lock of hair that had been frozen that day, inadvertently holding it with her ring hand. The light shone through the pink stone, making her smile softly as she gazed upon it before placing a kiss on it. "I'll always love you as strongly as I did back then, my clumsily perfect wife." She sat back on the bed, noticing how far into the afternoon it was. "Hmm..." She smiled, looking at her children's crib.
Later that night -- way later than usual -- Felicia arrived, utterly exhausted from all the scrubbing Jakob had made her do that day. "I'm home, Azur- oh? She's not here? Muh? The crib's gone... Did I get into the right room?" The maid took a step back, checking if the key she used was really her room's. "Did Azura take the twins for a night walk? Maybe I should check- but then again, I don't know where they went... Oh, I know! I'll take a bath and prepare a snack for when she comes back! Yes!" Feeling suddenly energized, the maid hopped to the folding screen, finding the bathtub filled with warm water. "Muh...?"
Did Azura leave a bath prepared for her before leaving? Oh, gods, how much she loved her!
Felicia clutched her chest before taking off her headpiece and undoing her ponytail, ready to make use of her wife's present. As she reached for the ribbon on her back, she felt a very familiar pair of hands touching it instead, embracing her from behind.
"Awawa! Azura?!" The maid jumped on her skin, feeling HER WIFE'S bare skin touching her. "Wh-why aren't you wearing- where are-" She stumbled upon the words as she turned to her wife, gulping at the sight of the princess' nude skin.
The princess took Felicia's hand to her face, kissing it before wrapping her arms around the maid's neck, welcoming her back with a deep and passionate kiss. "I asked Corrin and Rhajat to look after the twins for tonight, and maybe tomorrow, if you're willing... to not leave this room, that is."
"A-Azura..." Felicia gulped, not noticing how she licked her lips. "Th-then should we have a quick bath and a leisure dinner and-"
"Oh, my sweet... I would much rather have dessert first." Azura smirked, biting her wife's lip before once again inserting her tongue in.
Felicia bumped on the bathtub, rolling her eyes in pleasure with her wife's kissing technique. "T-thank you for the meal, then..." She giggled, once again reaching for her back ribbon, quickly stripping before entering the tub. "You're so beautiful as always, Azura... I can never get enough of looking at you."
"I will say that right back at you, my love." Azura whispered by Felicia's cheek, gluing their nude bodies together.
How well their bodies matched! Truly, they only belonged together!
Sharing a kiss, they giggled as they adjusted themselves into the cramped tub, redying themselves to spend the next hours (and day!) lost in one another's arms.
They would never get tired of it!

(3) Wordplay: 한 마디로 메기여 (han madiro megiyeo) means “it’s catfish, to put it in one word.” But it also sounds similar to “한 마디로 멕여 (han madiro megyeo)” where 멕여 is a misspell (slang) of 먹여, which in the context means to strike a blow, to trick someone, or to screw someone over. So it also can be “I’m Whitebeard, you guys are just long beards. I screw you over with one word.”

Morgan, Blending In
Thank you so much for commissioning me again, @xpegasusuniverse! I’m really glad with this one came out, so I hope you like it! :D
Summary: Morgan managed to follow her brother Owain to Valla and, under the alias of Linfan, now tries to blend in with the people of that strange and new world on her own Morgan-like way!
Commission info HERE and HERE!
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4  - Part 5
After Morgan, now Linfan, was accepted in Corrin's army, not much apart from fighting happened -- or rather, could happen. That place called Valla was crawling with enemies, to the point that even the people keeping watch at night had to be armed to the teeth since they would most certainly fight a battle or two before the sun came up.
That upside-down world was vast and hard to travel -- they had to make sure they stepped on the right bridges after the area had been scouted by flying units. It seemed like their guide, some Anthony fellow, wasn't very well liked amongst the entirety of the army, so Morgan's arriving right after Anthony’s made things a bit complicated to her side, or at least they should be.
"COMBINED..." She took a deep breath, holding her Thoron tome with one hand, the other one pointing to the sky.
"SIBLING ATTACK!" Odin yelled at the same time Linfan did, they tomes' magical powers swirling around them before exploding at the group of enemies right ahead. "YEAH! That was soo cool, Linfan!"
"Heehee, that was actually fun, Brother!" The siblings shared a high-five. "And since this place is crawling with those things, we can try out a lot of different magic!"
Odin had to hold his cursed hand in an extravagant gesture. "Yess! That's what I'm talking about! This is the place where we can truly use our full powers!"
"With my trusty Thoron, no enemy shall be left standing!" Linfan winked, doing a side peace sign over one eye. Odin almost shed a tear of pride. Finally... finally someone who understood and enjoyed his antics!
"... Don't you guys feel any shame?" Selena approached, her battle stance completely drained up due to second-hand embarrassment. "This isn't a joke, you know! They're here to kill us!"
"You wound me, silver-tongued maiden! This is serious business, I'll have you know! Isn't that right, Lin-"
Linfan giggled, "why don't you try it too, Selena? It's so silly, it's fun!"
"LINFAN!" Odin fell on his knees. "Betrayed... by my own blood..."
"Hah! I knew Linfan wouldn't let me down like that." Selena nodded, putting one hand by her hip.
From their posts, Corrin and Leo observed the interchange, both of them smiling at differing scales. "It's really lively out there, isn't it?" Corrin commented after felling the last enemy at their premises.
Leo sneered. "Humph. It's like we got another Odin; I got my work cut out for me."
The dragon prince scratched the back of his head. "Haha, I'm sorry for dumping her on you, Leo. But I thought that since she's Odin's sister, making both of them be deployed side by side would be better for her to fit in faster..."
"Please, don't apologize for that, Brother." Leo dismissed Corrin's worry with an uninterested wave of hand. "She is... a bit too eager for my tastes, but I AM used to having the most eager one, after all." He bobbed his head. "Besides, her talent for magic is real. So much that even by looking at her from this far I can still feel her inane power, waiting to explode. Very intriguing."
Corrin smiled. He knew how much his little brother loved to talk about magic, AND how competitive he was. He would probably push himself harder so as not to 'lose' to Linfan. "Just don't overdo it, okay?" He let out part of his thoughts, making Leo raise one eyebrow.
"I beg your pardon?"
"Oh, um, why don't you go talk to her, then? This can be a great opportunity to make new friends!"
"Hah, hear yourself, Brother." Leo scoffed, urging his horse to move. "I'm simply interested in her potential for combat, not in to suddenly invite her to our inner circle. Come, let's rendezvous with Camilla." He extended his hand to Corrin, who promptly took it so as to mount on the horse.
"Alright, but I still think that you two would get along if you wanted!"
"Yeah, yeah."
At the same time, Linfan, Odin and Selena arrived at the camp after clearing out their position. For the past few days, Laslow has been deployed far from Linfan, surely Xander's way of saying he didn't trust her yet.
At the entrance, Linfan unconspiscously looked at all sides, squinting as though she wanted to see something invisible. "Do you think he's here now?"
"Yikes," Selena shivered, "are you looking for ghosts or something? Aren't the invisible enemies we fight everyday enough?"
Without missing a beat, Linfan looked at the other side. "No, I mean the guy who likes masks Lord Corrin told us about."
"Oh." Both Selena and Odin cleared their throats, ever aware that the ninja could be anywhere around them at any moment. "If you keep being indiscreet like that, he'll stick around even longer!" The mercenary said, slapping her friend's back.
Linfan's eyes sparkled. "Will he?! Maybe this time he'll actually fall into one of my traps!"
Odin snorted. "You never even got Father to fall for them, Linfan!"
The apprentice tactician puffed her cheeks. "Well, YOU did."
Selena pointed and laughed as Odin retorted. "I was indulging my own blood, a-alright? The sacred vow of heroes always tells us to be kind to our kin!"
Morgan put one hand over her chin, her eyes wide in thought. "Will I have to marry him, then...?"
"WHAT? NO!" Both mage and mercenary yelled, slapping her shoulders. "Mor-Linfan, we need to play nice here, you understand? Stop digging these stupid pitfalls!"
"B-b-b-b-but," her voice trembled as Selena aggressively shook her, "but what if I dig deep enough that I can see the sky from below? I need to find out!"
"Linfan!" Odin exclaimed, making both women shut up in shock, the random passerby also staring unbelieving. "Don't do anything reckless, please..." He held her hand. "I won't bear if anything happens to you."
Feeling a bit guilty but also nostalgic, Linfan smiled. "That brings back memories, heehee." She brought Odin's hand to her face. "Sorry for worrying you, Brother; but it's going to be okay! This time, I won't bang a tome on my head or walk around looking up instead of down. I just want to catch him!"
"Aaand we're back at where we started." Selena groaned. "Listen here, Linfan..." She pulled her friend as they walked, leaving Odin behind.
He didn't follow out of pure shock, since Morgan had spoke not only of a new memory they made, but of an older memory of when they were children: She had the habit of looking up to the birds and clouds when she was very small, to she always hit her nose on trees, posts and walls, to the point of Owain needing to hold her hand at all times whenever they walked.
The feeling from way back then flourished inside his heart, making a relaxed smile sprout on his lips. She remembered more each day, and also learned more and more about their lives in this new world.
She would be fine. Sure, not without supervision, but would be fine nonetheless.
The sun took a lot longer than usual to set in that strange world since the sky was upward and downward as well, which only made it even more interesting! What would happen if Morgan started digging a pitfall during the sunset over her head while it was still bright under her feet? Would she be able to catch a glimpse of the blue sky all the while having the stars shining on her head? She simply had to find out!
And no, watching the sunset at the edge of an island did not cross Morgan's mind, nor would it: She was so focused on digging during dusk that she lost track of time. Although it was still clear out, she had dug so deep she leaned on the wall to catch a breather.
It was then that she looked up. "Oh, wow, that's my new record! Someone's REALLY gonna hurt themselves if they fall. Look at the sky wayyy up there, just a tiny round bit." A few moments of rest later, she placed one closed hand over her open palm. "Oh! I'm stuck!"
Laughing, Morgan slid down the wall to sit on the wet earth. "Heeheehaha! That's a first! I didn't know this island was so deep, whoops!" After calming down her giggles, she took a deep breath. "Welp, let's come up with a plan to get out of here! I won't disappoint you, Father!"
Morgan looked on her person for something that could help her up: her levin sword, her Thoron tome, a carving knife, a few samples of masks she always kept on a pouch and the shovel she was using to dig. "Aw, if I had brought a wind tome instead, I could fly myself out of this hole." She crossed her legs, looking at the items in front of her, trying to come up with a connection. "Father, I barely started and I already failed you... how can an aspiring tactician NOT walk around with a rope? This will haunt me to the grave!"
More worried about her lack of preparation than her own situation, Morgan kept thinking by herself, as the sky darkened and the temperature dropped. She didn't notice the time pass by, mind, since she was too busy thinking of what her father would do if he were in her shoes. Faraway whispers could be heard from above a long time later, breaking her concentration.
"Look, Sakura! The sky is soooo bright because of all the stars!" Princess Elise twirled around herself, pulling the shy hoshidan princess with her so they could watch the stars under that big tree over the hill.
"N-not even in Hoshido did they shine so brightly," Sakura commented, huffing to accompany the eager princess. By her own nature, Sakura always walked looking down -- in contrast with Elise, who always looked up -- so she noticed a big enough hole to swallow them both approaching at a fast pace as Elise happily dragged her. "P-Princess Elise, watch out!" She pulled her friend back with all she had, making both of them roll away from the hole.
"Wah- Oof!" Elise fell on the grass right beside the enormous hole that was simply there in front of the tree they were going to watch the stars under. "Whoaa! We could've really hurt ourselves there! Thank you so much, Sakura!"
The hoshidan princess sat up, patting the dirt out of her white clothes. "O-of course... I'm glad you're alright, Elise."
"Weh? Is someone up there? Heeey!" Both princesses heard a voice from below.
"KYAA!" Sakura shrieked, hugging Elise with everything she had. "G-g-g-ghosts?!"
"Whoa!" Elise laughed, bending towards the hole. "Ghosts? From this hole? Helloooo?"
"Oh, there really was someone!" Morgan got up, fastening her sword and tome back at her belt. "You're Lady Elise, right? I can barely make out your face since it's so dark, haha!" She opened her hand, channeling the thunder from her tome to her fingers, lighting the hole she was in. "Do you happen to have a wind tome with you? I'm a bit stuck in here!"
"O-oh, so it was a real person..." Sakura breathed out in relief. "A-are you okay? You fell down from such height..."
"Oh, no, I dug this! Impressive, isn't it?"
"Oh, wow!" Elise put one hand over her mouth, her hair dangling beside her face as she popped her head into the hole. "You did all this? Amazing! But what's this 'wind' tome you speak of? I never heard of it!"
"Oh, so they don't have wind tomes in this world? Whoops..." Linfan bit her tongue with a smile, thanking the heavens that her brother wasn't there to scold her.
"What was that? I didn't catch it!" Elise yelled, lying down at the edge.
"Um, if you don't have it, then it's okay! Do you happen to have a rope or something? I think I can work with that!"
"D-don't you think we should get help, Elise? We shouldn't be having such a leisure talk while she's in such predicament!" Sakura gripped at her friend's sleeve, worried about the new girl.
"Oh, yeah! Wait here, Linfan! We'll call for help!" Elise sat up.
"Oh, no, no, no! Please, no!" Linfan laughed nervously. "If my brother and friends find out, I'll be in deep trouble! I need to get out of this on my own."
"B-but what can we do? I don't think both of us can pull you out by ourselves..."
"Oof, yeah, I can barely flex without getting tired." Elise concurred, feeling sympathetic to Linfan since she, too, didn't like getting in trouble with her siblings. "Maybe if I call my brother? Leo's super good with magic; he can think of a way to get you out of there!"
"L-Lord Leo? Oh no, if he finds out, so will my brother!"
Elise deflated. "Oh, yeah..."
"U-um, maybe my sister Hinoka can help? She's strong, so she'll be able to pull you out in no time!"
Linfan put her free hand on her chin in thought. "Hmm... And she's hoshidan, right? There's no need for her to be a snitch to the nohrians..."
"I-I don't know about 'being a snitch', but Big Sister Hinoka is responsible and strong! I'll bring her here!" Sakura got up too fast for her own legs to follow, her feet wobbling as they tried to get a proper foothold.
They found none, as she was too close to the hole. Elise widened her eyes and yelled a "watch out!!" as Sakura felt the ground slip away from her.
Morgan closed her eyes, scooting to the side to give Sakura room to fall, but she never did. When she looked up, the princess was safe on a ninja's arms.
"Hah... For how long will you two keep this up?" Saizo groaned, putting his princess on the ground. "I won't stand idly if you endanger Lady Sakura any more than this."
"S-Saizo!" Sakura managed to let out her voice. "T-thank you, thank you, thank you so much..." She trembled as Elise breathed out in relief.
"Pheew! That was a close one! Thanks a bunch, Saizo!"
The ninja glared at the nohrian princess, then downwards to the foreigner. "How long do you plan on staying there, woman?"
"Oh no! MASK! IT'S THE WRONG TYPE!!" Linfan yelled, the sparkle on her hand getting out of control and spiraling upwards before flashing out. "I thought it'd be covering the eyes, not the mouth!"
The ninja sighed deeply, getting tired of watching that girl run around in her own little world and staying stuck inside a pitfall for hours.
"P-please, help her out of there, Saizo..." Sakura grasped at his scarf.
Once again did the ninja sigh and, faster than the eye could see, he jumped into the hole, surprising all three princesses. He landed soundlessly besides Linfan, grabbed her by her waist and jumped out.
"Oh, wow, that was easy." Morgan blurted out, grabbing Saizo's scarf as he pulled away from her. "Wait! You're him, right? The Saizo fellow? Lemme take a look at your mask!"
"Unhand me, woman!" Saizo pulled his own scarf back as Linfan studied his face with scrutiny.
"Oh, that sounded familiar, heehee," she giggled, remembering Lon'qu from her world. "But that's not it! Lemme just do this..." with her free hand, she grabbed one of the masks she had made previously and stuck it on Saizo's face. "Aw, I got the size wrong!"
Saizo flicked the mask away, managing to whisk himself out of Linfan's hold. "Do not do this again, girl, lest my blade finds itself in your gut by accident." He said and disappeared into a curtain of smoke.
"So he really was watching..." Linfan crouched to get her mask back, deep in thought. "Guess I'll have to relearn how to make them, huh? Now, to cover the mouth instead!"
"Wow, did you make this yourself, Linfan?" Elise picked one mask up -- since Linfan's pouch wasn't properly tied due to the surprise, it fell down when Saizo pulled away from her. "This is so pretty! What kind of paint is that?"
"Oh, there's one here, too..." Sakura picked one that looked like a fox. "So cute!"
"Do you like it? You can have it! I need to make bigger ones to fit Saizo..." She smiled, gathering the remaining dozen so as to tie them back on her pouch. "I can teach you to make it, if you want? With three heads, we can come up with more designs than me alone!"
"Really? You'll teach me?!" Elise trotted to Linfan's side, the foreign girl only one head taller than the nohrian princess. "I'm very good with my hands if I may say so myself! I love to make flower necklaces and crowns!"
"I-I don't like handling knives, but if it's only to carve, then..." Sakura shyly wore the fox mask, her cheeks flushed under it.
Elise and Linfan laughed. "It really does suit you! You really should keep it, after all." The apprentice tactician said. "C'mon, I'll teach you two right away! Let's get back to my tent for some light!"
Both princesses giggled, taking Linfan's extended hands. Their older brothers had advised them to steer clear of that girl, but she looked like such a fun person to be around! They surely would get along well from then on!

Clumsily Thinking of Each Other
Thank you so much for commissioning me again, @arod7293! This was so cute to write, I hope you like it! ^v^)b
Summary: Finally finding happiness in her life with Felicia by her side, Azura decides that it’s time to rid herself of the cursed pendant. A few days later, Felicia notices how distant her wife is and wonders what she can do to lift her spirits...
Commission info HERE and HERE!
Even after their marriage (or especially after it), Azura and Felicia never stopped going to their spot. It was a special place to both of them and their relationship, after all. Not only that, but it was a secluded area with the best view to watch the starry sky and enjoy the breeze of the lake.
The wives would take turns in cuddling one another; on some nights, Felicia would be the one to give her arm to Azura to lie on, who would repay the act on the following night. They went  there at least three times a week, which made Felicia look forward to the nights she would cuddle on Azura, always loving to hear her heart beating through her chest.
And to listen her melodious voice from the best and most privileged spot in the world? Count her in! Those were the best nights for the maid, who would, without fail, always blush and snuggle for a few more minutes each time.
In Azura's arms, Felicia barely cared about the beautiful stars or the moon's reflection in the lake; her entire being was focused on her beloved wife, always taking in her smell, warmth and voice.
She closed her eyes in one such nights, snuggling on her wife's chest. "You know, that dessert Jakob made for Lady Corrin earlier today made me remember a speciality I used to eat when I was a kid, back at my tribe."
"Oh?" Azura twirled one finger around Felicia's straight hair, enjoying how it never curled no matter what she did. "What did it taste like?"
"Heaven!" Felicia rested her chin over Azura's chest, looking at her from below, her eyes sparkling. "Me and Flora ate it all the time... I'm sure she remembers the recipe, but I keep forgetting to ask her to teach me."
"Does this mysterious recipe have a name, or will I always be curious about it?" Azura chuckled, pinching her wife's pouty cheek.
Ticklish, Felicia raised her shoulder, trying to hide her face from Azura's teasing hands. "I'm pretty sure it was Frosted Chocolate Bomb. Ahh... remembering how it would melt with the touch of a warm hand... explode in chocolate... I want to eat it!!" The maid squirmed, digging her face into Azura's chest, rubbing against it.
"Haha- Felici- stop- you're tickling me, my love!" Azura laughed, trying to grab her wife and take her away, the light pink hair prickling over her neck and arms, making her laugh even more.
Felicia giggled, groping her beloved's waist, enjoying so very much to hear her easygoing laugh. "This laugh is so important," she let her thoughts slip as she raised her head to see Azura's flushed cheeks. After everything her princess had gone through, just the sound of her laugh was already so important, so very much appreciated.
Giggling, Azura cupped Felicia's face, bringing her closer to her own. Felicia placed both elbows on either side of Azura's body, the hair showering down on the blue one. With her wife's face so close to her own, Azura couldn't see anything else, quite literally -- Felicia's hair made somewhat of a wall that blocked everything from Azura's sight, making her look only at her wife.
The princess caressed her beloved's cheek, the smile never leaving her lips. "You are so important to me, dear Felicia. I still feel giddy whenever I present you as my wife to the people we meet, did you know?"
Felicia snorted, resting her forehead over Azura's, "really? Even though I'm the one so over my head about having you as my wife? It's like I'm still dreaming."
"Then let us never wake up, sweet Felicia." Azura opened her mouth to welcome Felicia's lips, wrapping both arms around her neck. Surprised, but not about to deny a sweet kiss from Azura, Felicia closed her eyes to enjoy the taste, the warmth and the tenderness as their tongues matched oh so very well inside their mouths.
They remembered the day they shared their first kiss, or the day they had succumbed to each other's lips in front of the entire army... Ah, but who could blame them, when their beloved's lips were so enthralling? So entrancing? They could never get enough!
Gasping for air, Felicia slowly stopped the caress, turning it into smaller pecks delivered over her wife's lips. "This is too good to be a dream." She giggled, being followed by Azura.
"Ah, this is indeed reality, my love." The princess placed one hand over Felicia's, intertwining their fingers. "Indeed, reality." She closed her eyes with a pained expression, squeezing Felicia's hand on hers.
The maid gasped. "Did something happen? Are you in pain?!" She sat up so as to give Azura room to breathe.
The princess followed, never letting go of her beloved's hand. "It is not a physical pain that I feel, but a decision that I must follow through that's paining me... And I wanted you to be there with me when I do it."
"Of course I'll be there! What is it?" Felicia hugged her beloved with more strength than necessary, stealing the air of her lungs.
Azura's shoulders sagged with the gesture, never before so happy to have lost her breath. "Thank you, Felicia." She looked deep into her beloved's eyes after they pulled away, then to her chest, where she usually wore her pendant.
Felicia's eyes followed, finding only Azura's cleavage and slightly blushing as her eyes went back to her princess'. Giggling, Azura once again caressed Felicia's cheek before speaking.
"It is nigh time I rid myself of the cursed pendant that belonged to my mother. Its role is fulfilled, though its curse will never be lifted. I need not to have it in my life any longer, but..."
"It'll be okay!" Felicia grasped both of Azura's hands on hers. "It's something that's been with you since your mother died, of course it's hard to part with it." She lowered her head, pressing Azura's hands on it. "I don't know if I'll be of much help, but of course I want to be there for you when you do it. T-to be honest, I've been worried that the curse was still e-eating away your life." The maid confessed, feeling her eyes burn with tears. "I couldn't bear to lose you to that pendant, not after everything we went through to be together!"
"Oh, sweet, sweet Felicia." Azura wrapped her arms around her wife, cuddling her into her chest one more time that night. "Your words give me strength to live on without that which's been my only solace ever since childhood." The princess took a moment to breathe, looking up at the sky. "I'll be alright. With you by my side, I can do anything."
Felicia sniffled, brusquely wrapping her arms around Azura, making both of them lose balance and fall once again on the grass. "Ah-owow! Are you okay? Why do I keep messing up on these special momeeents?" She sniffled, never letting go of the hug.
Squeezed to almost unconsciousness, Azura laughed with the little of air she had left. "I-I'm fine, Felicia, but if you keep this up, I won't be for much longer-"
"Awawawa! Sorry!" Felicia let go of Azura altogether, almost rolling down the hill to the lake; Were it not for her wife's quick reflexes, which pulled her once again to her own arms, making them roll the opposite way instead.
"Heeheehaha!" Azura laughed. "I love you, my dear Felicia! I cannot believe I feel this relieved after being so insecure just a moment ago!"
Blushing due to her repeated blunders, Felicia's face was covered with her own hair as she giggled to her wife. "I do love it when you're smiling, Azura." She whispered before giving in to a clumsy kiss, their hairs and bodies tangled over one another.
They would be alright. As long as they were together, they could face anything.
The following morning, Azura woke up before her wife, barely managing to sleep at all. The shy rays of sunlight shone through their thin curtains, little by little illuminating the room.
The princess squeezed her eyes shut, not wanting to think about the anxiety that pierced her heart like thin needles.
However, a deep breathing beside her made Azura open her eyes, finally focusing on her sleeping wife: Felicia had slept with her face so close to Azura's they were almost sharing the air they breathed. Immediately did the anxiety give way to warmth.
She slowly turned to the side, placing a tuft of hair behind her wife's ear. Ah, if that's what awaited her for the rest of her life, free from the pendant's menace, then she would go through with it.
Seeing Felicia sleep as though she hadn't a care in the world brought such peace to Azura's heart that she managed to fall asleep again, having a nice dream before the appointed time.
Still, what she was about to do was a great step in her life, and surely the anxiety would come back. Azura gripped at her pendant the whole way to a secluded lake, far from the castle. "We're not throwing it at our lake?" Felicia asked along the way, holding her wife's hand.
"No." The princess replied immediately, never taking her eyes off the road. "That place is ours only; I do not wish to bring so much... hardship to it. I do not want to remember the pendant every time we go there."
Felicia placed her other hand over Azura's, biting her own lip in sympathy. "This is very hard for you, isn't it..."
"I'll be fine as long as you keep holding my hand, dear Felicia." Azura let out a bittersweet smile, gripping so strongly over the pendant the tips of her fingers turned white.
"Always! I'll always hold your hand!"
Azura's shoulders sagged minimally, the shadow of a smile hovering over her lips. "We're here." She announced as they entered the lakeside.
Felicia barely glanced at the grand body of water in front of them, too concerned about her wife to care. Azura, however, felt the need to explain the reason for the lake to wear such a deep blue color: "When I was a little girl, my mother told me that this lake connects Castle Gyges to the center of Valla; simply staring down at it makes you feel as though your soul is being sucked in."
"Mhm." Felicia nodded, urging her wife to go on, slightly squeezing her hand.
Azura took a step forward, towards the small pier built there for the sole purpose of allowing people to behold the depth of the water: the more they walked over the trepid wood, the darker the water became under them.
"I do not know if I'll be truly freed from the pendant's curse even if I do this," she confessed, pulling it out of her neck through her long hair. "But I feel that I must do this to be able to move on; to be able to truly move on from the past, from the all the grief and pain I've felt my whole life. To..." She from the lake to her wife, whose eyes were already welled up with tears. "To be able to look forward to the future and enjoy it by your side."
"It'll be okay!" Felicia reassured, sniffling. "I'm here!"
"So you are." Azura closed her eyes, then took a deep breath.
'Twas night, and the moonbeams palely fell ♪ On the gloomy walls of a cheerless cell, ♫ Where a captive sought a brief repose ♪ From the bitter pangs of his waking woes. ♫ O'er the dark blue waves the mighty deep ♪ His spirit roamed in the dream of sleep, ♫ To each well-loved spot of his native shore, ♪ Where joyous he roved in the days of yore. ♫ But o'er each scene a shadow threw ♪ A gloom that always used to be, ♫ Be it shall no more. ♪
"With this song, may our bonds be severed," Azura concluded, throwing the pendant right in the middle of the lake’s crater, a single tear escaping her eye as she did so. "Goodbye, Mother..." she whispered, her lips trembling.
"Azura!" Felicia threw herself on her wife's arms, yet again squeezing the life out of her. "You did great! You did great!!"
Azura's lips trembled with emotion before a laugh shook her body. "You know, this was easier than I thought. Surely because you were here with me, my love. Thank you."
"Of course-" Felicia lifted her gaze to her wife, meaning to steal a kiss, but hit her forehead on Azura's chin instead. "Owowow...! T-this hurt more than usual...!" She took a step back as both of them staggered with the blow, each holding the afflicted area with both hands.
"Heeheehaha- ouch- haha!" Azura laughed, feeling a discomfort in her chin and teeth. "I love you so very much, Felicia!"
Tearing up due to the sharp pain, Felicia looked up to her glistering wife: Azura's smile shone like never before, the tears shimmering in her eyes taking Felicia's breath away. She really couldn't get enough of that smile. May she see it forever!
They managed to kiss despite the throbbing pain of Felicia's clumsiness, putting an end to such painful chapter of Azura's life.
Or so Felicia thought. The past two days following the pendant's disposal, she noticed how distant her wife had become, even more so than usual. Azura's always been standoffish, yes, but she'd been outright absent lately! Felicia could barely catch a sight of her during her work hours, and their schedules didn't match for their meetings at their spot.
Sure, they still shared the warmth of their bed, but what about the rest of the day?
Felicia took one hand to her chin in thought, her brow furrowed adorably as her mind travelled back and forth in search of a reason. "Maybe she's still hung up over the pendant, after all. It WAS a big part of her life and stuff." She mumbled, walking back and forth.
"F-Felicia, maybe you should give this tray to me." Corrin spoke seemingly out of nowhere, startling the maid.
"Wah! L-lady Corrin!" She took a step back, throwing up everything she was carrying. "When did you get here?!"
"When did I get here?! In my room?" Corrin laughed, looking how all the china and the tea inside the teapot magically flew around their heads. "You just said you were gonna pour our afternoon tea, remember?"
From her seat at the tea table, Rhajat gestured with her hand for the cutlery to go back to their rightful place, over the table. "And here I was wondering how in the world she was managing to carry so many things with only one hand without tripping."
Felicia looked around, always amazed at Lady Rhajat's powers. "Wuh? Was I really carrying everything with one hand?! I-I don't rememberr!" She cried out, proud and ashamed at herself. She had finally managed to make drinkable tea, which was basically the only thing she succeeded in her work, so how could she forget how masterfully she did her task?!
"W-well, apart from that," Corrin patted the maid's back, guiding her to the table, "what's on your mind? You're more spaced out than usual."
Rhajat scooted over so her wife could sit beside her over the couch, knowing how Corrin would make Felicia sit on the chair so they could talk. "She means that you're blundering more than normal, but it in the nicest way possible," the mage whispered, twirling her finger so the spoon hovering over the teacup would mix the beverage.
Corrin elbowed her wife as she sat, never taking her eyes off of her friend and maid. "Anyway, is there anything we can help you with? Is it regarding Azura?"
Felicia gasped, shooting her head up. "H-how did you know, Lady Corrin?!"
The three cups that hovered around the table landed in front of each one of them. "You are an open book, you realize that." Rhajat said, leaning her arm on Corrin's. "I can conjure up a solution, if you want."
"Conjure?" Felicia blinked, looking from the Queen to the Queen Consort, her mind racing. "Conjure..." She remembered Azura's sorrowful song and the pendant that flew so high up in the sky before plummeting inside the lake without a sound. "That's it!" She got up, bumping on the table. "Awa-whoops!"
Before the tea spilled everywhere, once again Rhajat made it fly, but this time, back to the pot. She sighed, putting one hand over her face. "Should I conjure something, then?"
"Um, I think I'LL be the one doing the conjuring." She widened her eyes, clasping both hands together. "B-but I don't have a chain, nor a bail..."
Corrin finally placed the pieces together. "Oh! This is about Azura's pendant, right? She told me she'd thrown it out, but she didn't seem much different after that- or rather, she seemed happier."
"Yeah, that's what I thought, too... But she's been distant ever since, so I guess she's actually missing it." The maid looked down, then closed her eyes. "But I just thought that what if I gave her another pendant instead? I know she has the ring I gave her already, but..."
"Aw, I think it's a lovely idea!" Corrin clasped both hands together in glee, glancing at her wife with a smile. "We'll do whatever we can to help!"
"Of course." Rhajat got up from her seat, heading to the corner of the room whence she kept her magical ingredients. "What kind of pendant were you thinking about?"
Felicia closed her eyes, seeing in her mind the bouquet which had brought such anxiety to her before. "The azure vallite root." She whispered, opening her hands as the air grew colder and colder by the second.
Corrin and Rhajat both shivered with the chilly wind whirling around Felicia. From the maid's hand, a crystallized flower appeared. It was blue, much like Azura's previous pendant, but cold to the touch. "There!"
Rhajat saw her breath puff up in front of her as she turned to her table. "Then I'll give you this." She mumbled a few magical words, touching a chunk of gold she had mined for an experiment. The moment her fingers touched it, the gold transformed into a bail, a glittering and never-breaking chain clasped onto it. "I put an unmelting spell on it, so your flower will always shine like a real crystal, despite being made of ice."
"C-Can I really have it?!" Felicia hopped to Rhajat's side. "I-I know I'm the one who asked, but if it's too much trouble-"
"Hush, give this to me." Rhajat pointed to the icy flower, making it float towards her creation.
"Oh!"
The flower fit with a clicking sound, the spell consolidating over the now-pendant. "It's done."
"T-Thank you so much, Lady Rhajat!" Felicia sniffled, instinctively hugging the mage, forgetting about decorum. "I'll go give this to her right away! Excuse me!" She bowed and left as quickly as she spoke, leaving the door ajar.
"You're such a romantic, Rhajat." Corrin giggled, walking towards her wife, who blushed with the statement.
"N-nonsense. I just wanted her to leave us alone, that's all."
"Riight," Corrin teased, wrapping her arms around Rhajat's waist. "You even gave her the gold chunk you painstakingly acquired the last time we went exploring."
Rhajat hid her face under her bangs, gripping at her wife's arms. "As I said, I wanted her to leave."
"Alright, if you say so." Corrin nipped at Rhajat's cheek, enjoying how warm it was. "I'm sure soon they'll be hugging and kissing like we are about to."
"... Are we?" Rhajat chuckled, turning her neck to her beloved, knowing how much she loved to kiss her there.
"We are."
Felicia ran back to her and Azura's quarters, obviously not finding her there. "Stupid, stupid me! It's not night yet! Where could she be...?" She spoke aloud, running corridor in and out, ultimately bumping into someone so hard both of them flew to opposite sides. "Awawawa!" She caught the pendant as it was about to fall, not minding how she herself fell on her behind. "I-I'm so sorry, I didn't see you th-"
"Felicia!" Azura laughed, rubbing her hip as she got up.
"Azura!!" Felicia jumped up, hiding the pendant behind her back. "I looked everywhere for you! Why are you here at the servants wing- Nevermind that, I have something for you!"
The princess giggled, walking towards her wife. "Funny, I have something for you, too-"
Worked up, Felicia didn't hear Azura as she spoke louder than her wife: "I noticed how distant you've been these past days and I know that you must be feeling bad because of your pendant, so I, um, went ahead and made this for you!" She handed the pendant so brusquely she almost punched her wife in the gut. "I know it won't be a substitute for it, and, well, it doesn't have any magic inside it apart from maybe being cold to the touch, but--hummph!"
"Silly Felicia!" Azura smiled before shutting her wife up with a kiss. "Of course this pendant is wonderful! Nothing can substitute my mother's pendant, but nothing can substitute your pendant either, my love. This is just as important to me right now."
"Y-you mean it?" Felicia melted under Azura's lips, her thumping heart finally calming down.
"Of course." Azura stole a peck before turning her back to Felicia. "Will you put it on me?"
"R-right!" Felicia clumsily undid the clasp, taking way longer than necessary to clasp it back around her wife's neck, though Azura never once complained about the wait.
She knew how frantic her wife was about it, and how seriously she took everything. Giggling, she looked at the kitchen from where she had just exited before bumping into Felicia. "You have a wonderful timing as always, my sweet."
"Muh?" Sweating, Felicia finally managed to close the clasp, sighing in relief right after. "Did you say something?"
"I said that I also have something for you, silly." She turned around, looking from her new pendant to her wife. "How do I look?"
Felicia blushed. "B-breathtaking as always."
"Flatterer." Azura teased, gesturing for Felicia to follow her. "Forgive me if my absence lately's brought you unease, my love. I was consulting with Flora regarding something very special for you..."
"What?" Confused, Felicia followed her wife's lead, smelling the chocolate as soon as they stepped inside the kitchen. "T-this is...!"
"Indeed." Azura nodded, turning around so as to present the Frosted Chocolate Bomb. "I did what I could with the tools we had at the castle, but Flora gave me the passing grade, so I decided to present it to you."
"D-d-d-does it m-melt?" Felicia widened her eyes, walking closer to the table. "Oh, Azura! Thank you so much for this, I can't wait to try it!"
"It does melt, much like my heart does when I see your smile." She said, signaling for her wife to sit down. "Today, I shall serve you, my Lady Felicia."
Flattered, Felicia sat down, bringing both hands to her chest in emotion. Both of them had been thinking about each other that whole time? Truly they were meant for each other! "Oh, oh, oh! I can't wait to try it!"
