do you think Thor and Sif dated at some point?

No.

They are very much friends in Thor1. She shows some inkling of having affection for him.

She definitely has feelings for him in Thor2. That's completely dropped in Thor4 for some reason. I wish they continued that unrequited love thing - it was so interesting, especially considering Odin wanted her for him and not the 'lowlife mortal'. And even with her feelings for him, Sif was good with Jane, which shows incredible character on her part.

In the Coulson show, Amora's sister Lorelei mocks Sif about how she could never 'have' Thor:

"Still the same Sif, doing as you're told, heeling at the feet of those who command you, never to get what you desire. Not Haldor, not… Thor, a man who considers you more pet than woman."

(Damn, that would cut deep. And yikes, my man would never treat anyone this way!)

And lastly, they show some of his previous lovers in Thor4 and she's never mentioned.
