Im taking solace on tumblr for the meantime. Instagram art community has become so damn exhausting

#personal #rant #I get being burned out but it gets so depressing when the people around me feel like they are being held at gunpoint just to make art #artist FORCING themselves to emulate the kny anime artstyle and then complaining abt it #even though no one is actually forcing them #I guess ig algorithm is partially to blame but #its SO EXHAUSTING seeing all the art around me devoid of love passion and creativity #and then theres people who stay in the kny community even though they HATE kny like??? why are you even here??? #people harassing eachother over oc x canon ships making call out posts of eachother #the way people only care abt you when your making free art for them etc #im sick of it all #like im grateful for the community that i was able to form there and the memories #but my friend was right that the negativity can be so overwhelming #i need to take a break there for a bit #ig has its perks being able to connect w other artist has been very fun #but to be continually exposed to ONLY artists can be quite unhealthy..
