Assclass actor AU

I’ve seen a ton of people doing it and I love all of them and if any of you create anymore I would loved to be tagged in them but anyway here’s mine

To start off, Asano and Maehara played best friends in another show (in a Disney show like Sam & cat or icarly) for years so their pretty close, it’s not uncommon to see them come to set together or Asano come bring Maehara food on days he doesn’t have to come on set

Karma is actually so shy in person omg bless him he apologizes after filming whenever he has to be mean to someone (which is 90% of the time)

Everyone was secretly scared of Kayano when they first started cause she’s been in big films and seemed so Sophisticated

They can never find Gakushuu and Rio when their needed 😭 their supposed to be on the field and their in the pool

The kids genuinely like to mess with the principal

He shows up to set late once and their like “do you have a late pass?” “I was in a car accident on the way here” “hmm that gonna be a tardy then, We’ll be contacting your parents”

Terasaka had beef with one of the extras for the main campus and no one really knows why

Their always singing some Disney song when their not acting

Hayami does her own stunts but Chiba has a stunt double and she’s constantly calling him chicken (in an affectionate way)

Isogai heard Gakushuu and Karma arguing and went to break it up preaching about accepting differences and all that and turns out they were just practicing lines lmao

Irina is so chaotic and talks to herself and has mini fits when she can’t get her lines right and it’s hilarious

Principal Asano, Koro Sensie, Irina, and Karasuma all sitting in a room talking about them damn kids

Karma thought that Nagisa, Terasaka, and Gakushuu genuinely hated him by the end of the filming cause of how his character acted towards them and was so sad poor thing

Karma and Okuda genuinely being best friends

Theirs a clip of Gakushuu and the principal just sticking their tounges out at each other

The kids like to stick extras and Gakushuu into any extra seats in the classroom just to see if the adults notice

Single Dad!Nagisa AU Headcanons

I don’t really know how exactly Sakura ended up with Nagisa but it all just ends with Nagisa seeing his student being sad and he’s like ‘Okay, you’re mine now.’

It wasn’t that hard for him to get custody of her seeing as Karasuma has a lot of pull in the government (plus, Kataoka is training to be a lawyer (that’s my headcanon, at least, she just seems the type) so she was ready to help when she found out)

Nagisa was still a University student when he got Sakura so on top of rent for his apartment, grocery bills, and Sakura’s education he also has to pay for his own academics

And it was not easy. He worked as many part time jobs he could so that Sakura won’t have a hard life but he made sure to always be there for her because having Karma for a friend made him see how terribly absent parents can affect a child’s life

This dude was really wearing himself thin. There were times where he would not eat for an entire week just so that they could afford things

You see, he’s perfectly fine budgeting for himself when he was living by himself but he NEVER wants Sakura to feel like she’s missing out on anything. Plus he’s saving up for her future fund in case anything happens to him

Of course, the former E-Class find out and they’re like ‘no’

They obviously offer to help him out financially, to which he replies that he’s fine and doesn’t want to bother them

“It’s cute that you think that we’re giving you a choice” - E-Class

So somehow (Karasuma, Irina and Karma have them rich rich big bucks) a year’s rent for his apartment gets paid as well as both his and Sakura’s education an the rest of his friends save up to buy him a car

Isogai definitely gave him a lecture about his terrible self-caring skills because he knows how bad his family had it with a single parent trying to make ends meet and he did not want it to happen to any of his friends.

Anywho things get better with the power of friendship™

Okay so now to dad!Nagisa

Nagisa is a dad is what everyone wants in a parent: he’s sweet, attentive, and is just the best at providing comfort and support

He’s so good at reading people that he already know what Sakura wants or what’s bothering her before she even know it herself

The drawback is that she can never hide anything from him

He’s also really chill about everything

Sakura: Nagisa, this guy was harassing my friend so I killed him

Nagisa: *turns a page in his book* you didn’t get any blood on you, did you? It takes a while to clean out and that’s a nice shirt.

Sakura: Nagisa, I just killed a guy

Nagisa: Did you wear gloves?

Sakura: Yes

Nagisa: That’s my girl

If Sakura wanted to do something drastic like dye her hair or get a tattoo or piercings, e would read up everything he could about it and teach her the good sides and the bad sides about it

If she makes any mistake or does anything wrong, he’ll gently sit her down and explain what she did wasn’t right

He’ll only ever be mad at her if she does something that could endanger herself or anyone else

He’d never raise his voice. He knows from experience how bad that is. His anger would be short and cold. He’d speak in an even tone and he’d frown but make sure to hide his bloodlust as much as he can - the last thing he wants is to end up with her being scared of him

He’s also the best when it comes to homework assignments and class projects because he’s always ready to help her

He has a lot of PTSD from his mother’s abuse and his time in E-Class so he tries his best not to let it show. One time Sakura woke up in the middle of the night to find him crying on the floor in the kitchen. She wordlessly, went to the fridge, got out some sushi and milkshakes and they had a midnight feast.

Having Sakura around made him want to go to therapy more than he would in canon because he wants to be the best for her

E-Class are the best aunts and uncles she could have. They are willing to kill for her. Literally.

Sugino and Kayano appoint themselves as godparents the moment they find out that Nagisa is taking her in.

Hara is always willing to babysit

The Terasaka gang are her personal bodyguards

She calls Nagisa by his name but one time, during a very emotional crying session, she very quietly says ‘thanks dad’ and Nagisa has to take a moment

To be honest, even when he was fifteen, the class would call him ‘Dadisa’ when he’s around Sakura because of how close they are but he had his own insecurities about being a father. As much as he loves his mother he still has resentment towards her and his mother has resentment towards his grandparents and the last thing he wants is to carry on the cycle and have Sakura resent him.

He doesn’t really see himself as parent material - he knows that he has a lot of flaws and he knows he’s going to mess up some poor innocent kid the same way his parents messed him up

But when he goes to Sakura’s school and her teacher hands him an essay about how he’s her hero, or when Sakura wakes him up on Father’s Day with a carefully drawn card and a wrapped copy of a Sonic Ninja comic (that Kayano helped her buy). He thinks he’s doing a pretty alright job

About Assassination Classroom Characters- Akabane Karma

Oh look it’s finally time for demon boy

Look I’ve honestly done so many previous rants about how this fandom really messes up with Karma as a character, I’m going to TRY and keep it brief.

So the first major character point we have for Karma is his genius. Though he’s naturally very intuitive, as well as at least to an extent book smart without effort, he has to (and does!) put serious effort into studying to actually refine himself and get those top results.

His intuition is somewhat what separates him and Gakushuu, as we see in the final math problem. He has slightly more ‘natural’ intelligence, where Shuu has more booksmarts.

He can learn just by watching, such as Karasuma’s defensive techniques.

The next major thing is Karma has a tendency to lash out when angry, sometimes without really thinking. It’s even worse when he actually thinks about it. Though he starts to develop from this, this gets him into trouble and him losing it is ultimately why he ended up in 3E.

Karma’s also for the most part a very lazy person. He doesn’t want to do their assassination lessons, or even show up to class, if he thinks there’s nothing in it for him. Again, we do see him develop from this.

This also leads to a bit of arrogance.

He’s actually kind of... nerdy? Like he really likes movies and video games for example. He even fanboys over his favourite director. I guess this isn’t the most obvious side of him though.

The boy is also high key sadistic like the things he comes up with, enjoying torture with both physical and verbal actions.

Look for the sake of fandom peace I’m only going to bring up the cross dressing/gender jokes briefly in that he’s a 14 year old boy and doesn’t deserve a cancelling hate campaign for a series of (admittedly terrible) jokes that don’t really impact the series as a whole that much. It’s my personal opinion that they largely were toned down after the whole Hiromi arc as it was, and Nagisa himself said he could cope with it coming from him.

Karma lives mostly alone, since he has weird India obsessed parents who are constantly travelling. Matsui states that this makes him generally more mature. Karma never expresses being upset with his parents, but I imagine it gets a little lonely for him.

Actually, he’s a really great leader. Though he doesn’t show this side of himself for a while, he really steps up and is at least somewhat on par with Isogai by the end of the series.

Though it takes him some time since people are kind of wary of him, he does make some friends. Notably would be Sugino, who eventually he started to hang out with due to Nagisa, though I don’t personally see them spending time one on one.

He also spends some time with Itona, when he properly transfers into class.

I wouldn’t call Terasaka a friend at all... more of a lacky.

Karma’s a little put out when Isogai interacts with him in a friendly way. Unfortunately, he’s not used to it (poor Karma honestly).

He and Nakamura are to be feared when they work together on something. Since they’re both very intelligent, their conversations can be a real mixed bag. He really does trust her, though, enough to make her second in command.

It should be mentioned that Karma absolutely has trust issues. I could write like... a whole meta about just this, but in summary it means that he rarely opens up to people, and when he does he needs to really trust them.

This is why I think, along with her science capabilities, he finds it easiest to talk to Okuda out of the girls. Because she really is genuinely so honest, Karma can be relaxed around her. Whatever your ship, their friendship is a very great concept (even though Matsui like... never went into it).

Now, Nagisa. Well, from Karma’s POV I think the angst was definitely a lot heavier. Originally, Nagisa was harmless and a person Karma could easily trust. But when he first saw Nagisa’s bloodlust, he freaked out. He was scared that something so dangerous could slip through his defences, so he put up every guard and forced distance between them. Even though Nagisa is his closest friend when they reunite, they still keep those walls up with each other until civil war. It’s kind of this awkward contradiction that was going to boil over no matter what. Though they do eventually get over it when Karma admits defeat, and we see them both drop those roles so they can be the good friends they really are. It’s a big moment for him.

Again, I’m not trying to write a whole karmagisa essay here, however his feelings with regards to Nagisa are a very interesting part of his characterisation.

In summary, yeah I went on a bit. Whilst I wouldn’t say Karma’s my favourite character, he’s definitely the most interesting for me, and absolutely has the most complete character arc in the series. I could talk for pages and pages, but I’m trying my best to keep this down to a reasonable length. As such, I don’t have any development notes, aside from continued maturity.

What I will repeat: KARMA IS NOT YOUR EDGY BAD BOY SUAVE EMO OTOME GAME PROTAG BOYFRIEND. Honestly, just make your Maehara/Chiba/Hazama hybrid oc at that point. I’m all for interpretation, and I admit he’s quite hard to write and I don’t claim to do it perfect, but it almost feels... so off it’s kind of insulting to his character? I get that a lot of people stan his vibe, but at least stan real Karma and not some distorted fanon of him. He’s also not like, evil. He’s 14.

I appreciate that sounds like a Karma stan going off, but it’s really because I see him being taken VERY ooc the most out of any character, aside from the people who genuinely think Nagisa is a submissive maid girl.

AssClass Quarantine Headcanons:

Class E:

This is the worst that could possibly happen to Nagisa. Poor boy has to stay with his damn Psycho Mom and she won’t let him go out ever. Korosensei secretly Checks on him every two days tho, just to make sure she doesn’t do anything too bad

Kirara secretly misses her Classmates (mostly the Terasaka Squad), but she uses her free time to learn new spells and to explore her hobbies a little deeper

since Itona only owns that Garage of his dad Terasaka has offered him to stay at his house

The Terasaka Squad does Videochats per Zoom every now and then, but it‘s so chaotic Kirara sometimes just leaves shhshs

Karma uses his time to either study, play Videogames or think of new ways to kill Korosensei

He never sleeps. Karma doesn’t know sleep

Now that his parents also have to stay home, he finally talks about them and how he feels neglected by them. It was a heartwarming Conversation and everything‘s a little better now

The Girls have an own Groupchat and have weekly Zoom Meetings, where they talk about how they’ve been doing and stuff

Sumire opened up a YouTube channel, where she shows people how she cooks all kinds of food! She‘s semi popular! (All thanks to Mimura and his Filming Skills)

Sugaya tries out new stuff with art. He made a sculpture, he drew with oil paint, tried out many cartoon styles and also pointed with Acrylic paint

His mom thinks about selling some of his pictures but he refuses (Never steal my mans art 😤)

Kayano feels very lonely without her Classmates and her Sister. She eats tons of Ice Cream and eventually gets over Nagisa!

She also watches a lot of Netflix in that Time, she stays up till 4AM Binge watching her favorite Series all over again

Takebayashi and Fuwa accidentally called each other but ended up talking for over two hours about Anime and Manga

They eventually bonded over this and now recommend each other the newest Manga and Animes (I love these two sm shshsh✨)

Okuda gets much more confident

She stopped braiding her hair and eventually even dyed it in a different color

When Karma and her had a Videochat with Nagisa both of them almost choked to death

Yoshida is so bored that he just rides on their private ground with his motorcycle, but after some time he just looses the fun in it

Muramatsu is tired of cooking Ramen and tries out some of Sumire‘s recipes! He‘s not a perfect cook, but he improves day to day! (Underrated Characters are superior, change my mind🍜💞)

Megu and Isogai Check on the others daily, like the responsible Class Preps they are! They make sure no one is sick and everyone is comfortable at home

Well, you see, Okajima would just watch Porn. I wish I could go deeper, but everytime I think about him it’s just... Porn.

Oh, but he misses his Classmates a lot. He looks at some photographs he made, and probably cries about it later

Maehara is bored to death since he can’t date any girls, but he and Isogai chat almost every day and he plays some video games with the others

Sugino practices a little Baseball in his Garden and accidentally breaks his Neighbours Window

Yup. They ain’t happy about it!

Hinano excercises a lot, just like Kimura does

Kimura has some days where he takes a walk or just runs a little while listening to music, it really relaxes him a lot and helps him to deal with the whole situation

Chiba and Hayami also Videochat very often, just like everyone else

Chiba once pinned his hair back, because he was doing some of Korosensei‘s Tasks, and Hayami just stared at him and almost started to cry

(I mean can you blame her, his eyes are beautiful 🥺)

Hinano reads a lot about bugs and Animals, and she also watches a lot of documentaries!

She also saved a little squirrel that almost starved to death in her garden, and she named him Squirrel-sensei, in honor of Korosensei

Rio doesn’t known what to do, so she just Chops her hair off

But it’s fine, short hair really suits her, and she loves it either way, she was just bored

For Kanzaki... she would probably sit in her room and play videogames with the boys

She once rage quitted and yelled

Maehara was so traumatized that he didn’t play games for 3 solid days

Big 5:

Gakushu hates being Quarantined with his father, but well, what can he do?

He does a lot of unnecessary extra work, but other than that he just thinks

About Class E, about his father, about his friends and about himself

He secretly loves watching Theories and Myths, so that’s probably what he does on weekends

Ren has no idea what to do, so he just calls his friends and they talk about basically everything

He also tried out nail polish, but it just wasn’t for him, so he immediately rubbed it off

Okay this one is canon and you can’t change my mind: Natsuhiko remembers every. Single. Word. From the Shrek Series.

He was done with all of his school work and he ended up watching it all over again until he memorized everything

Teppei doesn’t do much except homework, but he mumbled to himself a lot

It was a habit before the pandemic, but it has gotten worse

He also watches Documentaries and ends up watching some about the dumbest topics, for example Otters or something

Seo is depressed, because he and his family can’t travel to LA anymore (rich kid problems 🙄)

Teachers:

Like I already said, Korosensei checks up on each one of his student, and he gives them a lot of extra work to do

Only because he cares about them and their education of course

He‘ll try to find a way to still somehow teach them, but he hasn’t found one yet

Korosensei also could travel the world, but he doesn’t do it because he says it’s a bad example for his students

None of them really care tho

Irina basically begs Karasuma to let her be quarantined with him, but he just refuses like the stern type of guy he is

Karasuma does a lot of paperwork and avoids texts or calls from Irina

Irina gets mad at Karasuma a lot and shoves chocolate up her mouth and cries over him

Other than that, she orders many new clothes and tries out different styles and aesthetics

Her favorite so far is Cottagecore

Gakuho isn’t to fond of him and his son being quarantined together

They only eat breakfast, lunch and dinner together, and that’s it. Nothing else happening here

He tries his best to care for his school of course, but he somehow also wishes to make things right with Gakushu

He knows that it’s probably too late, so he just doesn’t say anything and remains going school work and correcting exams

meeting the parents: karmelle

(this is so long hhhh)

karma met the (step)mom first

he already sorta met her in the summer trip since she was one of the assassins in the hotel

but they properly met when he comes over anielle’s house after school

as anielle unlocks the door karmas ready for her little siblings running up to her and welcoming her home and saying hi to him

but to his surprise its a woman with her arms crossed thats there when they walk in

wowie ! its arime kiriya !

anielle seems unbothered and ignores that her mom looks mad as shes taking off her shoes

“didnt know youd be home today”

“daichi says you skipped training for a week again.”

“daichi says a lot of things especially about me, probably to stray you from the fact hes failing one of his classes”

theres a screech from the kitchen

“?!!???!! SHES LYING DONT LISTEN TO HER”

arime just sighs, shaking her head

meanwhile karmas standing there like …?? um ok

as hes taking his shoes off, arime notices him

“oh, the boyfriend.”

ani: um??? no??? hes not??? my boyfriend???

“this is karma,,,”

“is he staying for dinner??”

karmas kinda panicking and his Respecful Mode is ON

hes not really intimidated, she just seems like a ‘normal’ mom to him but at the same time ..

this .. arime kiriya might be a pro assassin but before that she’s still anielle’s mom

he doesn’t really care about first impressions

so he has no idea why hes worrying now

“i usually do, unless you don’t want me to??”

“oh no no i would have insisted you stay if you said no”

anielle grabs karmas wrist

“call us down when foods ready”

shes dragging him up the stairs

she lets go of his wrist when they got in her room and shes like

“yeah um,, thats my mom,, i didnt know she would be home”

“shes different from what i expected?? from the trip she seemed more intimidating”

“oh shes actually pretty nice ?? we get in playful arguments sometimes but yeah even though shes not always at home she tries her best”

dinner time !

anielle said they werent together but arime could tell that even tho they werent tgt yet there was something there

arime asks karma a few questions as they’re eating and when karma answers, his tone’s polite and tame

anielle notices this

she finds it a little amusing, but honestly cute more than anything

when karma goes home arime says

“he seems like a good kid. you like him?”

ani, blushing: ?!??!!?! n-no

arime: ok sure

after that karma sees arime whenever shes home

he usually comes over anielles house so

but on the times that ani doesnt come home with karma, arime invites him for dinner

he says yes every time

arime always refers to him as the boyfriend though

not your boyfriend, but THE boyfriend

“you gonna invite the boyfriend over?” “how’s the boyfriend?” “ask the boyfriend if he wants to eat dinner with us”

anielles like please stop calling him that (1) he isnt my bf and (2) even if he was it sounds so weird and lame

(when karmelle start officially dating though she refers to him as karma)

karma eventually gets comfortable that he drops the Timid Tone and starts talking like himself

arimes not shocked at the change

HHH she looked thru the poor kid’s records and looked him up after they met because she has to know abt him if hes gonna end up with her daughter so she knew abt his personality and was waiting for it to show

arime’s honestly amused by him but she likes him and still thinks hes a good kid

he gets invited to their training sometimes

and sometimes gets to spar with arime he almost beat her once

as for ani’s (birth) mom, karma goes with anielle to the cemetery whenever she asks for mental support because sometimes it gets a little too much for her

the first time he went was after the incident with shiro

anielle wasnt planning on bringing him, but he insisted

he couldnt leave her alone, not after the emotional torture shiro put her through

when she broke down in his arms, he knew coming with her was the best decision, even if she didnt like the idea at first

the dad .. he met him three months after arime

karma knew that he was in the ministry of defense and is friends with karasuma, but was dealing with things overseas

thats all he really knew, he was expecting someone like karasuma

karma and ani were just playing a game tgt

then they hear the doorknob rattling ?!??!?!

out of instinct, anielle grabs the gun she keeps under the sofa hjgfhjksd

shes walking slowly towards the door gun in hand

the door opens

“i swear to god yuto i told you to stop doing that.. stop trying to scare the kids and open the door anielles gonna accidentally shoot you one of these days” arime scolds him as they walk in

yuto just laughs

anielle drops the gun and runs to hug her dad,, she hasnt seen him in months

“see! she had a damn gun ready!” arime sighs, pulling their luggage in

she sees karma “oh hi karma!! how you been?”

“good,,”

“so you’re karma? are you gonna join us for lunch?”

karmas like this is like meeting arime all over again

man he never thought his Respectful and Polite Mode would make a comeback but here he is

HHH karma: no fear

yuto: hi

karma: one fear

“yes sir”

anielles trying so hard not to laugh,, she cant believe karma just called her dad SIR HRKHHKJJKH

she and arime are silently snickering together while karma sits there as yuto studies him

“i’ll go start making the food,,” arime heads to the kitchen

“elly, go help your mom”

karma and anielle knew it was to get karma alone with him,, ani doesnt argue and goes to the kitchen

“arime and karasuma told me a lot about you.”

“oh”

yuto asks karma questions, but they arent Extra ykno

hes not Overly Protective, but hes more protective of ani because out of the two oldest, he knows anielle was affected by their mothers death most and took longest to get over it

he just wants to get to know karma

after arime karma was expecting the dad to be like her except more strict and intimidating but

for arime, it took two months for him to drop the timid tone

for yuto, it took an hour

hes still answering politely, but now hes including some snarky remarks as a joke and is talking in his usual tone

arime calls them for lunch

they all talk while eating and karma could tell the dad likes him too

hes just happy he got both of anis parents to like him

anielle met karmas parents like two weeks after graduation,, meaning karmelle are tgt now

she decided to tag along when karma went to the airport when they were coming back from a trip

he said they were coming back for a bit to spend time with him and to congratulate him for graduating

anielle didnt really know what to expect

shes looking at her phone when she hears a “karma!!!!”

she looks up and sees a woman waving at karma and a man beside her

as they’re approaching, his mom notices anielle beside him

“oh you came with... your girlfriend?”

“hi, i’m anielle!” ani greets. “i hope i’m not being a bother by being here?”

“not at all! i didn’t know our karma had a girlfriend?? since when??”

“we haven’t been together for long, but we met during our second year,,”

his mom turns to karma, “you dont tell your folks anything nowadays”

karma just shrugs

anielle shares brief greetings and conversations with his dad, the mom talks more

they dropped off their things and anielle stays for an hour and leaves so they can settle in

she gets invited to eat out with them the next day

she gets to really talk with his parents

karmas mom jokes around like “our problem child managed to get himself a girl!!! he’s a real handful, isn’t he?”

anielle laughs it off, “hes tiring to deal with sometimes, but i manage. you learn to have patience with him”

karma: Bruh

ani came over sometimes, and she got to know the parents better (and vice versa, they just dont know shes a hitman)

they really like her, she keeps karma in check and they think she brings out the best in him,, shes reckless and chaotic just like karma but if she needs to, shes able to stop karma from doing stupid things and he actually listens so

his parents arent the kind that are like “wanna see karmas baby pics” to embarass him hes thankful

after a month they leave again

ani got their numbers, and the mom texts her from time to time to check up on karma (and her !!)

(karma doesnt know this)
