Poppet/Poppit Posabule headcanons

Significantly, I think that the inverse happened with the Posabules in which a woman (new oc Annika Mann, whose name is a phonetic parallel of Mannequin), used Art to get to Poppet instead. Annika is Christina's gymnastics coach.

She likes cleaning but her coping mechanism is baking which she excells at and has always been her form of artistry that her mother didn't think matched up with the family's art background (as in painting) and she had a similar treatment to Bloberta in that way. Her maiden surname is Küche because her namesake, poppet, is a doll/figure for casting spells that can be used for a kitchen witch, which are placed as good luck charms, this also goes with her baking talents. I altered her dress a bit more to differentiate it from Bloberta's as well.

this isnt weird or random at all! it's so sweet that you picked up on that and appreciated that, i thought that would be important to put in because i feel like that Orel as a parent would try to be super supportive and loving towards his kids. i mean obviously he would be considering his childhood but the fics of adult orel that i've read don't really go into how he'd treat his children (even though we all know he'd be great) so i thought it'd be nice to put in an example of that in my fic!

he srsly thinks his family is the best and obviously there is a lot of media out there targeted towards younger girls that emphasizes a certain body type and i am positive that Orel and christina would be aware of that and try their damndest to make sure Sarah knows she doesn't have to conform to anything. we stan body positive parents

Poppet/Poppit headcanons part two!! I developed more lore for her, such as when she had a dream of going to school at Le Cordon Bleu… and how her family wasn't particularly religious so marrying Art was like stepping into another world for her and in the long run it wasn't the best decision. But she was enamoured with the acceptance and appreciation for her skills that she received, from so many people, and at first she and Art had a pretty good relationship…

Have you thought about any hcs for the posabules? Like differences they might have, i dont want to them to be JUST carbon copies of the puppingtons. It annoys me with what little stuff we have/know about them. (Also i cant wait for that orel/christina wedding fanfic?!?! I just know thats its going to be great!)

You know thats a good question, i don't often see hcs of them but i can't think of any right now. I think i need to rewatch the episode that introduces them (even though that ep literally makes them out to be carbon copies of the puppingtons so im not sure how much that'll help)

I do like the theory out there that says poppet is to clay as art is to bloberta since we see in the s3 premiere that she like... abandons her son? and just lets him live with the puppingtons (granted he was probably happier there than at home but still) I will try to think of some hcs and post them here though, i do agree that i dont like how theyre essentially the same as orel's family

(and also thank u! I haven't started outlining it yet but i will this weekend/this week. i would expect it to be out by... mid-may? i know that seems like a loooong time but people are so excited about it! so i want it to be perfect)

#re: dani talks about things #moral orel #yeah we dont really know a lot about the posabules #which in the context of the show is probably fine because the show isn't about christina like shes not the main character #so overall it doesnt bother me too much #and i did think it was funny that they were portrayed as being EXACTLY the same as clay and bloberta #only because the scene where they compare cleaning products makes me DIE laughing every time #but i will try to think of some!
