Cu secret superhero au! Krupp backstory and headcanons
Oh, I’m going to have fun with this! Let’s see if I can come up with things that I have not yet.
-So because CU’s origin story is canon, that means Benjamin’s place of birth was originally Underpanty world and BDLJ and PPH are his real parents.
-He crash landed on his adoptive parents farm, but his biological parents had the sense to give him a device with a recording explaining his true heritage. (Not sure if that also happened in the Superman lore).
-His adoptive father was all for adopting him and was the one to name him ‘Benjamin’ yet Bernice was not as much for it, especially since she was already pregnant with Jasper (this is according to @jackie-sugarskull’s contribution).
-His adopted dad had found the device and, after finding out what was on it, had it hidden away and would later tell Benny he should only open it if something were to happen to him (or to him and Bernice) or when Benny reached a certain age (9 or 10-ish).
-Because Benjamin had the EXACT same physical features as his adoptive parents, EVERYONE besides close family members were fooled into thinking he was their actual biological son in addition to Jasper.
-Benjamin was loved by his adopted dad and Jasper. Bernice… not so much. When his dad passed away, there was nothing to hold her back from mistreating him and he had no clue why for a long time.
-Eventually he did find the recording from his real parents, in which they revealed who they were, where he came from, and that he was due to get superpowers upon reaching the age of 9/10. He thought it was a joke. Later on when he reaches that age (and one amusing incident involving suddenly flying and lifting heavy objects happens) it turns out that it was the truth.
-Clothes actually DO diminish his powers significantly. With them, he’s not as strong and he can’t fly very far or for an unlimited amount of time.
-And spray starch can also make him temporary powerless.
-Water doesn’t do anything to him in this AU.
-He did not let any of the bullying or Bernice break him like it did in canon. He wanted to help others out who had to suffer like he did and give them something to be happy about.
-Plus he’s got a better way of venting his aggression out–by beating up bad guys and trying to save the day.
-I would imagine that as an older kid/teen, he’d do things like community service/tutoring/programs helping kids out, in addition to being on top of his studies. Which of course benefited him later on for his career.
-His best friend in his childhood/teen years is jackie-sugarskull’s OC Sawyer, who was the only one who knew about his superpowers. They used them to pull off pranks/help out other kids/escape to somewhere like the arcade or a nice place outside of town. In fact, she was a huge reason in why Benjamin didn’t turn into the jerk we are used to in canon. (Anything else involving Sawyer in this AU is up to Jackie since she’s her OC).
-Benjamin does have a bit of a skin sensitivity issue due to what his biological race is (super powered people who mainly wear underwear) so there are certain fabrics he can’t stand. (Cotton is one of the few materials he can handle wearing). Growing up with a ‘mom’ who barely cared if a certain type of shirt was too itchy for you to wear didn’t do that any favors for him as a kid.
-He opted to embrace the ‘Captain Underpants’ persona as a hero because 1. It makes it easy to fool bad guys and distract them 2. Why not embrace that part of who he is? 3. The world needs a bit of humor 4. Again he’s more powerful WITHOUT the clothes.
-Though I wouldn’t be surprised if he had tried his hand at it as a teen, but tried a more ‘edgier’ approach back then.
-He probably can’t be super open about it at an elementary school, but he does support the LGBTQ (and others). (Actually, I think CU is more open about it out in public. Understandably it causes mixed reactions for some).
-Again, while Benjamin is not a complete jerk as a principal, he HAS to keep up the stern, tough, no-nonsense facade to not only lower any suspicion that he might be CU, but to protect his students if someone were to find out the truth. Which kind of sucks for him because this version does adore children, but he can’t afford to let his guard down for one minute out in public.
-He IS a little easier on the kindergardeners because they are new to school life. Same for kids who need additional help (think students who need modifications or accommodations, IEPS, 504s, etc.)
-Both of the above also plays a part in why his relationship with his nephew isn’t so great. (In addition to the fact that he refused to give Kipper any special favors and was against his nephew bullying others.)
-I imagine the moments where ‘CU’ is especially dumb is an act to further fool his enemies. I think Benjamin’s truest self is a mix of both CU and Krupp (but especially without Krupp’s nastier side). Like he actually is a fun-loving, caring guy, but he’s someone you still don’t want to anger.
-Before George and Harold found out the truth, Benjamin had mixed feelings about them. Yes they did the pranks and whatnot that made his job hard. On the other hand, they adored his superhero self to the point that they made comics about him and he wanted to open up and just tell them the truth for the longest time.
-And ironically, it’s with George and Harold (and later Edith) that he feels more open and who he can be his truest self around.
-He has that wig stash, but it’s more for disguises.
-While everyone at school thinks the relationship between the three is strained, Benjamin has more trust in George and Harold than most others (Edith he trusts for obvious reasons. With Ree he tolerates him due to the man’s background and that he’s the most likely to protect the kids out of the other adults if something were to happen to him). So the boys report to him if ANYTHING is out of place on campus or if it seems there’s a super villain around.
-For that reason, he’s not a huge fan of substitute teachers.
-The boys’ parents are under the impression that he’s personally tutoring them a few times. It’s actually a cover for if they are genuinely hanging out with him. It also doubles as an excuse for why they were not around when they were actually helping CU out.

Hi Ninja, Thank you for opening up the readings 😊 I once dated a military officer overseas. For 4 months my cycle didn't come and I had a strange experience that seemed to be a miscarriage. I spoke with a doctor, but overseas the medical care was sketchy. I couldn't get a firm diagnosis even though I brought in a sample but my intuition told me I was right and even that it was a girl. Was I right? Sorry to ask RE a heavy subject. PPH Aquarius
It’s ok. Yes, you were pregnant. It was the choice of the divine to cut the pregnancy short. There’s nothing you could have done or changed to save the baby.
As for the baby being a girl, I think you’re mistaken. Could a fake pregnancy be counted as a pregnancy? It’s like - the baby was neither a boy nor a girl. Maybe a genetic issue that didn’t happen and you were spared a different fate.
You should be very thankful. Years from now you will lean exactly why you are to feel thankful for this situation.
From family constellations’ perspective, that baby is still your baby and you can love them and accept them and accept the choice of that baby’s soul, the choice to not stay on this Earth.

Facebook Is More "social" Than LinkedIn
Mentioning the most recent firm information in your interview will show that you're up-to-date on the company and its place within the business. Read under for data on the advantages of using the corporate Observe software. I learn a number of books at once. Utilizing this characteristic, you may consistently put up updates about your company, job openings, best practices and thought management material. The common time required for a corporation, team, or individual to resolve buyer issues on social media, from starting to finish. Injecting your individual story right into a news story has change into much simpler with social media, as users can simply use hashtags or search terms to attach their content material to breaking news. In this case, the recruiter will do a LinkedIn folks search on the particular person of curiosity, and think about their profile. Folks will almost certainly reply positively to that. It’s higher to pick a targeted space to display your expertise than to attempt to appeal to too many people at once.
Folks come throughout this content material through the feeds, streams, posts, pages of their contacts—usually friends, household, colleagues, trusted manufacturers, and cats/canine. Create useful content material by interviewing a specialist in one thing relevant to your services or products. For example, for those who acquired a non-local consumer and you're questioning what's the best and cheapest approach to ship your products there are number of logistics and transportation specialists on LinkedIn who will gladly provide you with some recommendation. There are some fundamental fields to complete for every itemizing reminiscent of an image, features, class, description and a link to the services or products in your webpage. For instance, in my Tampa group now there are eleven posts, together with one from a recruiter I do know who has listed a mess of jobs he has open. We’re going to turn the rest of this article over to Anna Bratton, one in all our prime salespeople. Over 50,000 Happy Prospects.
They want the same thing from you and you have an obligation to provide it to them. You’ll make selections which might be consistent with who you need to be and what you need your brand to signify. You're commenting as a visitor. The three most important areas to deal with are your headline and Abstract and Experience sections. This is usually a hyperlink to a video or an article you find attention-grabbing, and remember to write a line about why it's interesting or the key conclusion. The last phrase-- love what you do and be enthusiastic about what you do, success on this business depends upon ardour but additionally on saying I can enhance. Withered
The beautiful, well-nourished flower
had a dream.
Four soft, velvety petals
swayed in the wind.
Soaked with rain droplets,
the lonely flower sat
in the dirt
until it was saved.
It had been dying for love and affection,
until it was plucked suddenly from the soil,
then handed to a human,
and brought into a home.
Now it sits on a counter with fellow flowers,
losing all of its petals
one by one
as time inches by.

Truant People call me the truant Always running away Never being in place But little do they know The truth within my disguise If I am a truant, I sure am a sad one Staying away from my problems Has become my new identity I don’t run away to have fun I run away from everyone- yes! – everyone I find comfort in the warmth of my room In my room, there are lights Ones that calm me down When my thoughts begin to twist Out of my hands It’s easier To suffer alone When in suffering, Anxiety hits deep My fears just start to increase It takes over my body Leaving me withdrawn Of ever knowing myself To other people, teachers And even friends, I am a truant. To me? I am human.

Velvet
She longed for velvet and silk robes and all the luxuries in between But all that was brought upon her after smooth boards collided with rough waters and sand was a velvet sky with diamond stars encrusting it Enclosing an island like a letter with no contents oceans sealing the envelope shut Along with winds composed of silk that embraced her like a robe So she slept wrapped in the silk and with velvet far, far out of reach

Mayo Mishap
It all started in a small town of Mayoville. By locals, the small yet unusual town was famous for its sandwiches -- in fact, the best sandwiches in the country! Mayovillians are adamant to keep up their delicious reputation; so they set up a tradition. A tradition to give very Mayovillan a jar of mayo every month. Mayo was a secret to the deliciousness of each sandwich, whether you liked mayo or not. But there was one problem.
Jorge, a middle aged man with a belly, never received a jar of mayo. He couldn’t understand why; people generally treated him well, and from his understanding he didn’t make any enemies.
Waking up from his slumber, he slouched, feeling himself collapse from depression. Why? Another day without a jar. His body suddenly felt a jolt of anger rush through him. Jorge slammed his fist onto the nightstand next to him, hoping the groan of the table would awaken God of his mayo misfortune. But nothing.
Walking about his kitchen, he stumbled to his fridge to bring out his lovely half-eaten sandwich for his mouth to devour selfishly….
Jorge felt disappointed at himself. He couldn’t fathom why he hasn’t received one jar. One jar.
“What did I do wrong, huh? What did I do to deserve this?” He murmured to nobody in particular. “I just want one jar for making sandwiches… that’s all I ask for.”
He sat down, staring at his windowsill. The sun shone rays of disappointment it seemed. With a wistful sigh, he bit into his delicious heaven.
Suddenly, a bright, blinding flash filled the kitchen. Jorge screamed in pain as deadly lasers penetrated his eyeballs, dropping his food onto the floor in the process.
When the lights dimmed, Jorge warily opened his eyes. Blinking, he saw a blurry image of a woman.
“Why hello my dear! Gosh, I really need to work on my entrances!”
Jorge stared at this odd stranger incredulously. “W-what just happened? Who are you?”
The old woman giggled delightedly. Straightening her dress, she pulled out something from her sleeve. A wand. Jorge wanted to scream.
The old lady sensed his unease. “Oh don’t worry dear! I heard about your ordeal, young man. I heard you never gotten a jar?”
Jorge turned his head away in embarrassment. “Well… yes,” he said. “I need mayo for my sandwiches, madam. I just want to make sandwiches like the rest. I need that, and that is what makes them good. I just-”
The lady interrupted with a smile. “Goodness gracious, young man. Don’t you fret now, I’ll make your dreams come true!”
Jorge noticed the way her smile seemed bigger than normal, like a mask hiding something entirely unpredictable. He bit his lip nervously as he noticed her foot, which was hidden inside the way-too-big dress, was tapping impatiently. He couldn’t see it, but the rise and drop of the hem gave it away.
Clearing her throat with a swift flick of her wand, Jorge suddenly felt something heavy in his arms. He looked down and felt his eyes water.
A beautiful, wonderful, pristine jar of mayonnaise.
“Oh.. oh.. thank you.. thank you so much! Oh this is amazing, I - thank you..” he repeated, like a religious chant. Hugging the jar, he looked up at his savior.
“Can I marry you?” he asked. The lady laughed.
“Oh, to be honest, I’m too good for you. Why would I find myself attracted to you?” She said cheerfully. Walking up to him, she stared him directly in the eye. A smirk found its way onto her lips.
“Wait till the ‘jar’ stops ticking,” she laughed.
Jorge looked at her wide-eyed, his arms shaking. Then he looked down at what was his so called jar.
He was then permanently blinded.

Before The End of Time
Before everything came crashing down
I was living in a little town
My sister and I
Would let out a little sigh
As we watched Peter go by
He would waltz on away
In front of us everyday
But that was before
Those murderers tore
Through our little town
Making us frown
Now, we are stuck
And we are running out of luck
Not a soul could we tell
Of this dreaded place we called hell
What do we do? I say
They answered with “Just pray”
Two years pass
Not a sight of the poisonous gas
To think we could have been free
Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be
My father gone
And with no bed to lay on
We march in the cold
To a beautiful place we are told
Where we can all fall asleep
Without letting out a peep
Too soon I was to let go
Of this beautiful world we call so
At age fifteen I must leave
My name is Anne Frank, please do not grieve
My life was a good one
For in the end, the allies won.

When the Skies Laughed
Frederica idled on the edge of wakefulness, her face buried into the crook of her husband’s neck. She shifted, arms wrapped around his shoulders as he stirred awake from his spell. There his eyes fluttered open, grey hues so bright without the faint sheer of his glasses.
“Mornin’ Al.” She kissed him briefly on the cheek. Al sighed in contentment, lips forming a small smile.
“Morning to you too, Freddie.”
She felt her body protest as she slipped off under the warm covers. The morning sky was still young, baby rays of sunlight seeping through the curtains. Frederica picked up her watch from her nightstand. She felt the blood in her body run cold as 5:01 glared in red.
“Damn it!” She shouted as she ran towards her closet, “We have a vote at 5:30 — and it takes at least 20 minutes to get to the House…” Frederica cussed under her breath as she hastily pulled out a random outfit.
Alfred, with his glasses on, stood behind and wrapped his arms around her waist. She sighed and sank under his embrace. “Hey, relax. I can drive you.”
“But you have work—“
Alfred silenced her with a loving kiss. He pulled away and met a dazed expression.
“If it’s for you, it’s all right with me.”
Frederica pouted playfully. “I swear I’m too sinful for you!” She ran to the bathroom and threw on her pant suit outfit. As she brushed her teeth violently, Frederica could hear the grin from his remark.
“If you were sinful, I would have gone back to Canada!”
Frederica choked on her toothbrush and laughed out loud. “I’m surprised you’re survived Florida. I mean, for an ice guy, you could have died.” Washing her face, she opted out on makeup and ran a hand through her brown locks. Alfred snorted. He stood next to his wife and buttoned his white waffle shirt.
“It’s better to be ice cold than melt to death.”
Frederica scoffed. “Lord Almighty, it ain’t that bad. I’m questioning how you can survive 10 degree weather—“
“That’s not even cold—“
Frederica interjected, laughing. “In Fahrenheit!” She smoothed out her outfit and glanced at her reflection. “When you live in America, things are confusing and weird but.. that’s why I serve for my country, Al. There ain’t a day where I ain’t saluting to the Stars and Stripes, Alfie.” She turned to him and adjusted his tie, feeling his gaze. “That’s why I’m in the Senate. It’s hell sometimes but I love it.”
Alfred chuckled. “I love the maple leaf but if it’s for you, I’ll cross over borders for you, baby.” Frederica shoved him playfully, a hairdryer in one hand.
“You’re so cheesy, oh my goodness!”

Your words were once music to my ears.
Now, they’re the source of my tears.
Three years ago, on this day,
I thought that you would say,
Those three words that meant so much to me,
But clearly you failed to see
That we were meant to be.

Regret
Monday Morning 11:32 a.m.; Anna’s House
“Anna! Open this door right now!” The familiar voice of her best friend, Charlotte, brought hope to Anna.
She had been cooped up in her bedroom all weekend, refusing to leave, not even to eat. Her mother had tried countless times to draw her out from her room, but each time Anna refused.
This was all because of her boyfriend, or rather ex-boyfriend, Mark. He had broken up with her on Friday right after school. Just thinking about the incident brought tears to Anna’s eyes. She remembered it so clearly.
Mark had called her over to Bruno’s, the local diner. It also happened to be where Mark had asked her out. Anna didn’t think much of it at first, but when she arrived, his face didn’t have the same warm smile it always had. As soon as she sat down, the three words she never expected to hear, resonated from Mark’s lips.
“Let’s break up.”
In that moment, Anna couldn’t think. Her eyes filled with tears and she could feel her bottom lip trembling. Don’t cry. Don’t cry. She kept repeating to herself over and over. Mark, noticing the tears, immediately apologized.
“I’m so sorry Anna.” He had said. “It’s just, I don’t think this is going to work out. We’re both leaving for college soon and it’s going to be hard for the both of us.” Up until that point, Anna was understanding. After all, what he was saying was true. Mark had been accepted at UCLA and planned to head there. She, on the other hand, was accepted at the University of Chicago. They would be two thousand miles away, but she had never imagined Mark would say what he had said next.
“I also can’t guarantee that I’d stay faithful to you...” He murmured, trailing off.
At that point, Anna had had enough of his words.
“I thought you were better than this Mark.” She whispered, while silent tears flowed down her face like streams.
“I-” Before Mark could offer a pathetic excuse, Anna had gotten up and left, running to her car. Three years. Three years down the drain. She thought.
Everything after that was a blur. She didn’t even remember driving. In a matter of no time, she had reached her house. She immediately ran upstairs, ignoring her mother’s worried look. From then, all Anna did was sleep, cry, and sleep some more.
Until Charlotte came.
Charlotte had been Anna’s best friend since third grade. Charlotte was new to town and had moved in next door. It just so happened that the girls’ parents soon grew close, becoming the best of friends themselves. That was when their journey started.
Anna was always there for Charlotte whenever she was going through a breakup. They would eat ice cream, binge watch tv shows, and gossip all night under the stars. That was Anna’s remedy for Charlotte, but Charlotte had never needed a remedy for her best friend. After all, Mark was Anna’s first boyfriend and they had been dating since freshman year of high school.
When news of their break up had reached Charlotte, she was shocked. Mark and Anna were the perfect couple; the power couple. All the girls envied Anna and all the guys were jealous of Mark. They were a match made in heaven. Literally.
Charlotte didn’t know what to do, but at the same time she knew what she had to do. So, she did. First thing Monday morning, she had raced to Anna’s and demanded to see her. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out as well as she thought it would. Anna refused to let her in.
“Anna! Open up or I’m knocking this door down!” Charlotte yelled through the tightly closed door of her best friend’s bedroom. There was no response. Of course. As a last resort, Charlotte took a bobby pin out of her hair and started to pick the lock.
On the other side of the door, Anna could hear Charlotte’s attempts picking the lock. She was never good at that. Anna had thought, until the doorknob turned and the door to her bedroom opened.
“Anna, get up.” Charlotte demanded, in an ‘I’m too tired to deal with your bull’ tone.
“Let’s get you ready for school.”
“No.” Anna said. “I’m not going. I don’t want to see that jerk’s face.”
Charlotte sighed. “Stop being so stubborn and go shower. It stinks in here.”
Anna grinned, knowing Charlotte was just trying to get her to cooperate.
“Fine.” She said, finally giving in.
Fifteen minutes later, Anna stepped out of her shower and into her room where Charlotte was picking out an outfit for her.
“Here, wear this.” Charlotte said, tossing a cute, white off-the-shoulder crop top and a pair of jean shorts at her.
Reluctantly, Anna changed into her outfit and looked at herself in the mirror. Boy, I don’t look so good.
“Come here.” Charlotte demanded, patting the bed, which now had tons of makeup sprawled out on it. Anna listened and waited as Charlotte did her makeup.
Charlotte had always been good with everything that was related to beauty. She liked to be flashy and stylish. Anna had always admired that aspect about her.
A few minutes later, Anna was ready to go. She looked at her reflection in the mirror one last time, admiring Charlotte’s work of art. Much better.
“Let’s go.” Charlotte called, already leaving the room.
“All right, all right, wait up.” Anna pleaded, rushing to gather her school stuff.
12:08 a.m.; Serendipity High School
“Briiiing!” The bell for fourth period rang just as Charlotte and Anna had arrived on campus.
“What class do you have?” Charlotte asked.
“English.” Anna answered with dread. “Mark’s in my class.”
“Oh, you’ll be fine Anna. I have gym, but I’ll see you at lunch.”
Before Anna could reply, Charlotte disappeared into the crowd of students, leaving her all alone.
I can do this. Anna thought. She walked to the classroom, slowing down with every step she took. Just as she arrived in front of the door, she hesitated. Come on...
Finally, Anna opened the door, and walked in, pausing as she met Mark’s eyes. Those familiar, warm brown eyes called to her, but she refused to stare at them any longer. Oh crap. I sit in front of him. Sighing, Anna made her way to the desk in front of Mark’s. As she sat down, she couldn’t help but notice Mark’s eyes lingering on her.
Mustering up the courage, Anna turned around, and looked Mark straight in the eye. She smiled and said, “I’m so over you.” She turned back around, her ponytail swishing across her ex-boyfriend’s face. She knew he was missing the scent of strawberries that he had always said he loved. She knew she looked nice today. Somehow, Charlotte had managed to pick out Mark’s favorite outfit. She knew he regretted his decision. But most important of all, she knew that, for the first time in days, she was fine.

Six countless hours,
I wait for the bell.
The buzz of the bell is all I want to hear.
The clock is ticking.
I wait for the bell.
I wait so anxiously.
The clock is ticking.
I keep on sitting.
I wait so anxiously.
Off to my locker.
I keep on sitting.
Hallelujah.
Off to my locker.
I leave and go home.
Hallelujah.
I feel relaxed.
I leave and go home.
I put on a smile.
I feel relaxed.
Until the next day, that is.
