Y/N and Uncle Naeher: USWNT Imagine
Request: Yo, could we get some preath x child reader where they’re introducing them to the team and they’re like super shy? But maybe they click with Alyssa and the team is shocked?
Warnings: None
Word count: 823
There was chatter throughout the conference room as the team waited for Vlatko to start the team meeting. Almost everyone was already in the conference room, only a few people were missing, the three people everyone on the team wanted to see the most. Within a few minutes, Tobin and Christen walk into the room with Tobin holding a sleeping Y/N. They give Vlatko the go-ahead to start the meeting, which calms down most of the team, something both Tobin and Christen were thankful for. If the team was calm, then Y/N might be a little more outgoing. At some point, Y/N woke up and decided they would much rather play with Christen’s hair than listen to the boring speech, so when Vlatko was done going over everything, and the staff left the room, everyone turned to the child in Christen’s lap.
“Are you ready to meet everyone, little gremlin?” Christen whispered in Y/N’s ear.
“Scary,” Y/N whispered.
“Meeting new people can be scary but I promise Mommy and Mama’s friends are nice. You are gonna love them.”
“Otay”
Christen turned Y/N around in her lap so the team could see their face and Y/N was met with many smiles.
“Everyone, this is our kid, Y/N,” Tobin tells everyone.
Y/N looked around at everyone with wide eyes before deciding that they had no interest in meeting new people.
“Dinner?” Y/N asked Tobin and Christen. Tobin laughs and shakes her head.
“Of course you want food, little gremlin,” Tobin says with a smile. “Is there ever a time when you aren’t hungry?”
Tobin tickles Y/N, getting some quiet giggles in return before Christen and Tobin head towards the meal room, signaling to the team that they will try to introduce Y/N to everyone again later. After getting Y/N a plate of their favorite foods, the family sits down at a table and begin to eat, but are soon interrupted by Becky and Alyssa walking up to the table.
“Is it okay if we sit here?” Alyssa asks looking at Y/N rather than Tobin or Christen. Y/N looks at their moms before turning back to Alyssa and slowly nodding.
The meal is a quiet one. The adults talk a little bit about what has been going on in their lives, but everyone at the table just wants Y/N to be okay. Y/N quickly finishes their food, then decides it's now time to eat food off of everyone else’s plates. After stealing a few bites from their mom’s, Y/N turns their attention to the other people at the table for the first time since they sat down. After a small tug on her sleeve, Y/N has Alyssa’s attention.
“Cawwots peas,” Y/N asks softly.
With a smile, Alyssa moves her plate closer to Y/N, who happily eats all of the carrots off of Alyssa’s plate. After that, Y/N goes back to their own world until Tobin announces that it is bath time, then the small family leaves the team for the night.
The next morning, the family arrives pretty early to breakfast in hopes that Y/N will be more outgoing if they get a quiet start to their day.
“Y/N, go pick a table and we will get breakfast.”
After scouting out every table in the meal room, Y/N finds themselves standing next to Alyssa.
“May we sit wit you?” Y/N asks.
“Of course you can,” Alyssa responds. “I would love a breakfast buddy.”
“I’m Y/N!” Y/n excitedly tells Alyssa. “What do I call you?”
“My name is Alyssa.”
“Wyssa! You wike to wead?”
“I love reading. Do you like reading Y/N”
“I think Y/N’s love for reading might be enough to rival you and Becky,” Christen says, coming to the table with two plates of food.
Throughout camp, it became normal for Y/N and Alyssa to sit next to each other during meals. Alyssa would even watch Y/N for short periods of time so Tobin and Christen could get a few moments to themselves.
“Looks like Uncle Naeher has themselves a little friend,” Pinoe teases when Alyssa walks into team bonding carrying Y/N.
“Unca?” Y/N asks. “Are you a boy?”
“No but sometimes people call me uncle,” Alyssa explains. “It’s like a nickname.”
“Do you have no gender?” Y/N asks. “Mama and mommy says lots and lots of people have no gender and I can be any of the genders. Do you have many genders?”
“I only have one gender,” Alyssa explains. “The nickname uncle doesn’t have anything to do with my gender, it is because of my personality.”
“Otay! You my unca now with one gender!”
“Y/N, do you want to play soccer with me?” Kelley asks.
“No tank you,” Y/N responds. “It’s Y/N and unca time”

Secret Santa (Alex Morgan x Reader)
Tumblr media
Reader is in the military and surprises her wife and daughter (with a little help from Preath). Merry Christmas from @literaryhedgehog and Me!!!
“Little bit still hasn’t told you what she wants for Christmas yet?” Kelley asked, munching on some pretzels and hummus.
Alex rolled her eyes sliding into a seat next to her. “No, she utterly convinced that it won’t come true if she tells anyone but Santa.”
“Didn't she write a letter? Why didn’t you just take a peek?” Tobin interjected, sitting on Kelley’s other side. Her fiancé had been so excited to have her niece for the day.
“She mailed it to god knows where with Christen before I could,” Alex sighed, shaking her head. She had been fine with the whole mailing letters thing (actually watching your four-year old try to write out something heartfelt in blue crayon was kinda adorable), but then Camren had insisted on mailing it herself. Alex felt a little bad for the person in Antarctica who was getting the random letter.
“Damn,” Kelley huffed, blowing her cheeks out, trying to drum up ideas.
“Yeah, apparently it’s a Press family tradition or whatever, and Chris did it because Y/n isn’t here to. If she was she at least could have curbed some of her enthusiasm long enough to take a picture of the letter.” Alex grumbled, chewing thoughtfully on a pretzel. Your big sister had been picking up a lot of slack while you were away with the SEALs, but it just wasn’t the same as having you there.
“We hired a Santa, so just listen to whatever she tells him,” Tobin shrugged, a look that Alex didn’t recognize crossing her features.
“And pray to god it gets here overnight,” Kelley snorted. Hopefully whatever Camren wanted could be found at a local Walmart.
 *****
The holiday party was in full bustle. There were benefits to doing training in Florida, so while Camren still had her heart set on snow for christmas, the adults had strung the outdoor tent with string lights and decorated it with holly and mistletoe. Camren had promised to eat at least two bites of every food there -- even the healthy ones that looked weird (her words not Alex’s) -- before she ate too many of Emily’s double chocolate chunk brownies, and so Alex was feeling rather proud of herself. She and her daughter were both there, dressed up, and only 15 minutes late for the party-- not bad for single parenting skills. Maybe after Camren was done talking to Santa, Carlie or Lindsey could be persuaded to babysit for a bit so Alex could go introduce herself to that lovely bottle of merlot she saw hiding in the corner.
Alex was surprised with how comfortable her daughter seemed on Santa’s lap. Camren was a bit nervous walking over, but it was nothing compared to her fear last year, when she had bawled until you eventually gave up and held her behind the poor man. Perhaps it had to do with how tenderly the poor suited person seemed to hold the small child, and the little glimmer in their eyes. .
Santa’s eyes met Alex’s for a split second, and the sense of security the slight contact brought her was slightly alarming. They looked so familiar and sent warm tingles through her chest.
“Did you get my letter?” The little girl asked, drawing the bearded one’s attention back to her. Alex bit her lip, there was no way this random stranger got the letter addressed to Rudolph at the North Pole.
The Santa nodded, their features softening. “I did. It seems you were very concerned about your mama getting her gift?”
The little girl nodded rapidly. “How do you know where to take it, if she’s on top secret missions all da time?” Her brow furrowed, “what if she doesn’t have a chimney to hang her stocking on?”
“I just know. Remember I know if you’ve been good or bad, or if you move. I promise she’ll get everything she wants. Now back to you. What do you want for Christmas?” Santa tried to explain.
The little girl thought for a moment, her finger tapping on her chin, before she leaned up to cup the person’s ear. She whispered a few words, leaned back to look the bearded person in the eye. The (very fake) white beard at the top of the red coat bobbed up and down in a nod, and Alex saw a sparkle in their eye as their lips twitched above it.
“Well that’s quite the order.”
“Pwease? Its not that tall, and It’s the only thing I really want,” Camren pouted, pulling the puppy dog eyes that never ceased to make her parents melt. This was important, and if she only got one real chance to talk to the person who could make it happen, she wanted them to know just how much she wanted it.
“I’ll see what I can do,” the Santa said, nodding seriously and stroking the beard as Camren jumped up and ran back to Alex.
“What did you ask for?” Alex whispered. Good grief, wasn’t the whole point of hiring a Santa to hear what the munchkin wanted?
“Can’t say. Want it to happen,” Camren whispered back, twirling slightly as she buried herself in the hem of her mom’s skirt. This was going to be the best Christmas ever.
****
Alex smiled widely as the Santa pulled another wrapped present from the gaudy red bag. It was a nice spin on their usual tradition, and she just hoped Pino didn’t get her for a secret Santa. That woman forgot every year, and Alex’s name hadn’t come up yet and that bag looked suspiciously empty. No wait, there was one- nope, that was Beckey’s present from Alyssa. Maybe there was a gift card in there somewhere? Alex looked down at Camren, who despite practically nodding off in Sonnet’s arms an hour ago, had woken up during the secret santa exchange. She was now sitting on the ground playing with the toy horses, blind to her surroundings.
“Hey, um Kelley? Who was running the secret santa exchange again?” Alex whispered, grabbing her arm. “I think my person forgot to get me a present.”
“What?” Kelley, turned to her shocked. “I think maybe Tobin was in charge this year, we’ll ask her if someone wrote down who your person was.”
“Oh that’s not necessary,” Christen’s voice broke in. Alex and Kelley turned to look at her and Tobin, who were standing with a very confused Emily.  “I’m really sorry, we just didn’t get a chance to wrap your gift. You’ll get it at the end of the party.”
“Isn’t it like against the rules for Christen to get Alex since they actually spend Christmas together every year?” Sonnett whined. If she couldn’t buy presents for Lindsey, and Sam couldn’t do it for Kristie then that totally wasn’t fair.Sister-in-law and fiance-of-sister-in-law definitely had an unfair advantage on the ”knowing what presents to buy” front. She had to buy Jullie’s gift, and had just settled on some tea-rex patterned socks and a starbucks gift card.
Lindsey glared in her direction. “Can it disonny,” she wasn’t about to let her girlfriend mess up a surprise that had been 6 months in the making.
“It’s fine Chris, you didn’t have to get me anything,” Alex smiled sadly.
“I mean that would have been cruel since Camren has been campaigning pretty hard for your present,” Christen snorted. It was all your daughter could talk about. She had even harassed every Santa she saw while they went Christmas shopping, and wrote several letters (that she forwarded to you) about the issue.
“She told you what she wants, and you didn’t tell me?” Alex asked exasperated. She had been fighting with your daughter for a month to know what she actually wanted. Why on earth would she tell her aunt but not her mom? She was going to have to have a conversation with Camren about how Santa had different rules from wishing on a star or a birthday candle. Namely that she should tell her mom what she wanted!
Christen shrugged, a smile pulling at her lips, though Alex didn’t know what she was so amused about. “Well, it was for you, so I get a pass,”
“I for one think that Christen’s present is totally on point, even if it’s wrapped in ugly, sweaty red velvet,” A new voice joined the conversation, just as arms wrapped snugly around Alex’s waist.
Alex froze, her eyes going wide and her mouth opening and closing several times.
You chucked from behind her, spinning her around so you were face to face for the first time in almost a year.
“Hi love.”
“Holy shit,” Alex breathed. Her hands reached up to touch your cheeks, the sense of touch confirming what she couldn’t trust her eyes to see.
“Surprise,” You mumbled, leaning in and finally connecting your lips. You sighed into the kiss, thoroughly enjoying the way they moved together, and the taste of your wife. She impatiently pulled down the beard when you paused to breathe, and your hands found her hips, pulling her closer, while her fingers tangled in that baby hairs at the base of your neck. “Let’s do that again,” you said, your breath fanning against her lips before she pulled you back in. You had an awful lot of time to make up for.
“Why is mommy kissing Santa Claus,” Camren asked from somewhere below your feet. You were fairly certain you heard one of your wife’s teammates explaining in the background that Santa left a little while ago, and Mama had just dressed like him to surprise Mommy. You were a tad busy to explain anything right now.

Overprotective: Alphas Preath x Canadian omega reader
Tumblr media
A/N: I hope y’all enjoyed this! This was based on a lovely request for overprotective alphas Preath x reader. My requests are open so feel free! Ps. I triple checked, but please let me know if I misgendered Quinn at any point so I can fix it.
Y/N shook a little as she put on her red jersey. She was the newest call up for the Canadian National Team and of course her first start was against their bitter rivals, the USWNT.
“You okay little one?” Christine Sinclair asked, causing Tanc, and a number of the other veterans to look over in worry.
Y/N was able to fight off the urge to roll her eyes as a small smile appeared on her face. At 20 she was one of the younger players on the team which always leads to the veterans being protective, but it was a whole other thing that she also happened to be an omega who had not found her mates yet.
This meant that she was rarely left on her own, the older omegas and alphas alike on the team always ensuring that she had everything she needed, that she was comfortable and safe and that other alphas didn’t get too close to her.
“Yeah, just nervous.” Y/N said, leaning in to the woman who had basically became her Mom since she had joined the National Team. And Sinc was the first to find out that she was going to join the Portland Thorns after this year, planning to take her last few credits online as she was going to graduate a year or two earlier than expected. Which had of course made her even more maternal and protective.
“Don’t be nervous kid. You know we’ve got your back. Plus you’re one of the best players in the world right now. You’re going to crush it as always.” Tanc said, messing up her hair making Y/N pout.
The team laughed and Janine patted Y/N’s arm. “You got this kid.” Janine said pulling Y/N into a side hug, rubbing her back comfortingly for a few seconds before she got called away, pressing a quick kiss to Y/N’s cheek causing her to blush and pout about being babied constantly.
Jessie smiled at Y/N as she watched all of your other teammates bombard her. Y/N stuck her tongue out atJessie, knowing that she enjoyed the fact that they didn’t baby her quite as much anymore now that Y/N had joined the team.
Jessie just laughed, shrugging her shoulders, knowing that just like her, Y/N secretly enjoyed the older players doting on her.
Y/N lined up behind Quinn with Rhian behind her. Y/N started to tense up, her hands shaking. “Hey Y/N, what did the fish say when it hit the wall?” Quinn asked.
Y/N looked up at her friend, knowing what they were doing. Quinn has an uncanny ability of always knowing when Y/N was anxious and how to snap her out of it.
A slow smile creeped up on Y/N’s face as she looked at her friend. “I have no idea Quinn. What did it say?” Y/N asked.
“DAM!!!” Quinn screamed, starting to laugh obnoxiously. Making Y/N giggle at her friend’s dorkiness.
“There’s that smile. You got this Buddy.” Quinn grinned, grabbing their mascot’s small hand as the walkout music started to play. Y/N looked at her little mascot, her brown hair in a ponytail and a gap between her teeth.
The little girl beamed and took Y/N’s hand into hers. The little girl had to be 4 or 5. “You do good!!” The little girl squealed confidently making Y/N smile and laugh as she walked with her cute mascot onto the pitch.
Y/N’s nerves started to calm down as she was surrounded by her teammates in the huddle “I know we’ve got this game. I know everyone is counting us out but we have luck on our side because it’s baby duck’s first start today! They won’t know what hit them!! Tank cheered.
The team laughed at Y/N’s exaggerated pout at her nickname. Before long Y/N found herself in her place on the back line in front of Erin, who was also really protective of her little defender.
“Ready to crush your first start ducky?” Erin asked, making Y/N’s nerves disappear fully as she playfully glared at one of her favorite people.
“Well I know y’all have my back so I think so.” Y/N said sincerely and Erin grinned and ruffled her hair. “Show them what you’re made of kid!” Erin called as she took her place between the posts.
The ref blew the whistle and I focused on the game as USA kicked off.
It was nearly half time as Y/N was taken off her feet once again by a US player, this time it was Lindsay Horan. Erin helped Y/N up as Tanc and Sinc yelled at the ref for not calling the umpteenth foul that was committed against Y/N.
“They wouldn’t be going after you if you weren’t crushing it kid.” Erin said, clapping Y/N’s shoulder. It was only a few more minutes until the whistle was blown at halftime.
Coach tried his best to give his halftime pep talk as all of the veterans doted over Y/N, Janine and Sinc putting ice on her right ankle and left knee as Tanc ranted that “If my child is taken down one more time there will be hell to pay.”
Y/N couldn’t help but smile, though she’d never actually admit it she enjoyed her teammates babying her most of the time.
“Okay ladies, I heard Press and Heath are subbing in at the half. Mark them well and watch for Press’s speed and Heath’s ball skills. Okay we got this. Let’s go ladies!”
The team headed back out and warmed up for a few minutes before both teams lined up and Sinc kicked off the second half.
Right from the get go Y/N was amazed by Heath’s ball skills. She was able to contain the play with her speed, until she was clipped in her already sore ankle, going down with a temp of pain and a few tears slipping down her face.
She could hear the uproar as pretty much all of the team’s veterans were yelling at either the ref or the player who had gotten her in the ankle.
A soft hand touched her shoulder and she looked into the green eyes of the US striker and felt the mate bond settle into place.
Before Y/N could see much Heath jumped in and as Y/N met her eyes, she felt the mate bond too. Christen held her tightly as Tobin yelled for medics and proceeded to push Sam Mewis backwards with a snarl for hurting her mate.
“What the hell Tobin?!” Rose asked as she patted a shocked Sam’s shoulder. The Canadians stopped yelling, confused by Tobin going off on her own teammate.
“You hurt my mate, I hurt you.” Tobin growled, starting to throw herself at Sam. Everyone’s eyes widened as Pinoe caught Tobin, Quinn helping Megan hold Tobin back.
“Oh hell no!” Tanc and Sinc yelled as they stomped toward where Christen was a holding Y/N as she cried as the medics were moving her ankle.
“Get away from her!” Tanc yelled, letting out dominant pheromones, causing Y/N to cower a bit, her mega close to the surface because of the pain and finding her mates.
Christen glared at the Canadian veterans but did her best to remain calm for Y/N, releasing calming pheromones, which made the younger omega relax into her embrace more.
“Tons and I won’t hurt her Sinc. You know that.” Christen said.
Sinc sighed and nodded as Tobin came rushing back just as the trainers said “It looks like a sprain, we’re going to take you off, but you should be good in a few days to a week.” The make alpha said, going to help the omega up and to the sidelines. Christen and Tobin growled, Tobin carefully picking up their newfound mate and starting toward the sideline, Christen glaring at anyone who dare to come close.
Sinc, Tanc and Erin were loath to admit it, but they could all tell that the two American alphas were going to be good for their little ducky.
“Heath!!” Sinc yelled as Tobin and Christen made their way back to the field after making sure their mate was comfortable on the sideline.
Tobin turned toward her club captain as Christine smirked a little “Congrats but you hurt her, and they’ll never find the body.”
Tobin rolled her eyes but smiled, clapping her Canadian friend on the shoulder “You know we won’t but thanks for looking out for her.”
Sinc nodded as both the teams went to line up again, both Mewis and Heath being shown yellow cards.
Y/N watched the exchange and blushed when Christen winked at her after scoring a goal. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad having two more overprotective alphas in her life. Y/N thought with a smile.

3 Women And A Baby (Preath x Reader)
Tumblr media
@everygayiam Request: Could you do a preath x reader where they are starting to have a family and they're going through the process of finding a donor, getting pregnant, etc.? If not, any preath would do.
You grimace rolling back and forth as you attempt to get comfortable, though the second a hand settles on your protruding belly, you smile, the woman behind you mumbling, voice rough from lack of use.
“Y/N? Are you okay?” Tobin rasps and you nod, wiggling back against her, the woman smiling as she buries her nose in the back of your neck.
Christen is soon alerted to you discomfort, wiggling until she’s able to duck down, and bury her face in your neck.
Her hand settles on top of Tobin’s, the feel of kicking feet beneath their palms.
“You sure you’re okay?” Christen asks sleepily. “She seems a little livelier than usual.” She smiles as the unborn child kicks her and Tobin’s palm.
“I wish she’d break dance during the day.” You yawn, the two women giggling, Christen pressing a kiss to the tip your nose while Tobin kisses the spot just below your ear.
“Maybe she’s getting us ready for when we have to wake up in the middle of the night?” Christen giggles and you yawn.
“We?” You snort. “You and Toby are on nightly baby duty for at least 9 months.”
The two women share a glance, both smiling.
You smile when both women cuddle into you, your hand resting on there’s as you all snuggle together.
“I think we can do that…” Tobin shrugs, nuzzling into the nape of your neck, Christen’s nose playfully nudging yours.
“You did carry her. I think you deserve a break.”
You grin.
“Best girlfriends EVER.”
Tobin grins.
“We know “
You roll your eyes, pecking Christen’s lips before rolling over, pressing a kiss to Tobin’s lips as Christen snuggles into your back.
“Sleep.” Christen whispers as she and Tobin snuggle back into you, hands on your stomach.
Soon you can no longer fight your fluttering eyelids, eyes heavy with exhaustion.
You mumble, voice slurring as you fall headlong into the world of dreams.
“I love you guys.”
                                                           ***
“It worked... I’m pregnant.”
You would never forget the look on Christen's and Tobin’s faces, the two women bursting into tears, their hands on your stomach as they peppered your face with kisses.
After multiple times of the IVF not taking, after many tears and many thoughts of giving up, it had FINALLY taken, you, Tobin and Christen were going to be parents.
Christen sniffled, pressing a kiss to your lips before Tobin followed suit, their kisses salty from your and their tears.
“We’re going to be mommies.” Christen sniffles and you grin, wrapping your arms around the both of them.
“And I have two of the best mommies right here.”
Tobin and Christen each cup one of your cheeks.
“You’re going to be the best mommy too Y/N.”
                                                           ***
You wake with a smile, the dream of one of the best days in your life making your heart swell.
You glance around, grimacing, realizing both Tobin and Christen must’ve waken early, but the smell of bacon makes you grin.
Christen’s head pokes into the room, the forward beaming when she realizes you’re awake.
“Look who’s awake.”
Christen moves towards the bed, leaning down to press a kiss to your lips as you wiggle around until your feet touch the floor.
“There she is.”
Tobin makes her way into the room, leaning down to steal a kiss too, the two women helping you to your feet.
“How’s our kick boxer?” Tobin laughs and you groan.
“She’s using my bladder as her kicking bag.” You grumble, your girlfriends giggling as they lead you to the bathroom.
“You both know I can walk right.” You snort, the two of them sharing a glance.
“Yes...” Christen mumbles.
“BUT...” Tobin grins. “We just want our two girls to be safe.”
You shake your head, the two women helping you into the bathroom before taking their leave.
“We’ll be right outside the door.” Christen smiles and you chuckle.
“Of course, you will.”
                                                           ***
“You look like you’re about to pop!”
You pick your head up, your bottom lip jutting out at the words Kelley had just said, the defender’s eyes widening as she flails her arms around.
“No! No! I’m sorry, don’t cry.” She winces as your eyes fill with tears.
“Now you’ve gone it.” Emily grumbles as she slips passed her, wrapping her arms around you.
“Y/N... I’m so sorry.” Kelley hurries to the couch, wrapping her arms around you too.
“I’M FAT.” You cry out, drawing the attention of Christen and Tobin, the two women joining in on the group hug.
“You have our little girl growing inside you.” Tobin kisses the top of your head.
“You’re beautiful Y/N.” Christen kisses your temple. “Even more beautiful for carrying our baby inside you.”
You look up at the two of them, bottom lip trembling.
“Really?”
They both nod.
“Really. We love you.”
Christen and Tobin pepper your face with kisses, Emily and Kelley watching with beaming smiles.
“They’re going to be such a good family, aren’t they?” Emily whispers, and Kelley nods, beaming.
“The best.”
                                                           ***
You wiggle on the couch, grimacing.
“What’s wrong love?” Tobin asks as she plops down beside you, immediately wrapping her arms around you as you lean against her.
“Cravings.”
Tobin hums.
“What do you want? I can call Chris.” Tobin nuzzles into your hair and you shake your head, tears gathering in your eyes.
“I’m just annoying.” You pout, Tobin quickly slipping off the couch to kneel down in front of you.
“You are not love, your body is going through a lot.” She cups your face, ridding your cheeks of tears.
You sniffle as you lean into her touch.
“There’s a baby. OUR baby. Growing inside you, you are NOT being annoying love.”
Tobin kisses the tip of your nose and you giggle, the woman peppering kisses all over your face until you’re unable to stop laughing.
“Now, tell me what it is you want honey, so I can call Chris and tell her.”
You hum.
“Peanut Butter? Pickles? Ice cream?” Tobin guesses and you shake your head.
“Wings.” You shrug, the look on your face telling Tobin you aren’t done.
“Maybe some Lucky Charms and Ice Cream... Peanut Butter... Maybe Beef Jerky?”
Tobin laughs, leaning in to press a kiss to your lips.
“Whatever you want babe, whatever you want.”
                                                           ***
Christen and Tobin watch you with smiles, the women shaking their heads as you dip wings in vanilla ice cream, and peanut butter, snacking on it like it’s the best thing in the world before doing the same with the beef jerky.
Emily opens the front door, walking in as if she owns the place.
“What in the ACTUAL fuck are you eating?”
You wiggle happily in your seat, ignoring her as you chomp on a wing, covered in ice cream, peanut butter, and lucky charms.
Christen giggles as she watches her pregnant girlfriend eat the strange combination of food, a smile on your face as you inhale the beef jerky.
“She’s so cute.” Tobin whispers, eyes glazed over and Emily groans.
“Don’t be all lovey while I’m here, just had Chinese.”
Emily misses it, but Christen and Tobin noticed the way your head snaps up at the mention of Chinese.
Lindsey makes her way into the apartment, sticking her tongue out.
“Way to wait for me Sonn.”
“You were taking too long.”
You grin as Christen makes her way into the kitchen, coming back seconds later with a menu from a local Chinese take out.
“How did you know?” You blush and Tobin grins.
“Your eyes lit up at the mention of Chinese.”
You hum, taking the menu and eyeing it intently.
“I’m absolutely starving.”
Emily’s eyes widen, the woman’s lips parting, no doubt to comment in the amount of food you’re eating but a deadly glare from Christen makes her mouth snap shut.
The blonde dives behind Lindsey, the woman snorting.
“She has murder in her eyes.”
“Because Y/N is sensitive and you don’t think before you speak.”
“I know, it’s a problem.”
                                                           ***
You let out a growl, your girlfriends sitting up as you roll around between them.
“How the fuck am I supposed to sleep when I’m this fat?" You grumble eventually ending up on your left side, facing Tobin.
“Better?” She asks and you nod, curling your legs slightly.
You smirk when Tobin shuffles forward, her stomach resting against yours.
“Oof!” She grunts when she feels the baby kick, kicking so hard Tobin was able to feel it against her.
“Someone is going to be good at power shots.” She grins and you laugh.
“I mean she DOES have two of the best forwards in the world as mommies.”
Christen snuggles into your back.
“Don’t forget one of the best mid-fielders.”
You grin, tears welling up in your eyes.
“No tears.” Tobin whispers, gently swiping the tears from your cheeks as Christen snuggles closer, arms wrapped around you as she kisses the spot just behind your ear.
“I just love you guys so much.” You sniffle, the two women beaming as they pepper kisses all over you.
“We love you too.” Tobin grins, and Christen nods.
“So, so much.”
You don’t reply for a beat, the two women worrying slightly, but when a loud snore sounds from your parted lips they giggle both whispering.
“Night Y/N, we love you.”
You let out a sleepy mumble, voice slurring.
“Love you too.”
                                                           ***
“Oh, my FUCKING GOD.” You yell from the other room, and Tobin comes rushing in.
“Chris said we need to stop swear-
Tobin freezes her brown orbs wide when she realizes what had happened.
“Did, y-y-your water just break?” She asks and you nod, your eyes bulging out of your head when they lock with hers.
You let out a grimace, grabbing your stomach.
“O-O-Okay. I...”
“TOBIN!” You cry out in pain, the forward springing into action, albeit it stumbling as she does.
“Come on, I’ve got you lets go.” Tobin takes your hand, helping you out of the house and to the car, grabbing the overnight bag she and Christen had prepared, the two of them double checking it every morning.
Tobin’s phone rings the second she gets you in the car and you grimace, groaning loudly.
Tobin starts the car and slams on the gas, zooming down the street as she answers her phone.
“Hey Tobe what’s-
“SHE’S COMING.” She screams into the phone, cutting Kelley off, the defender turning to Emily and Christen who she was with.
“THE BABY IS COMING.” The defender screeches, and Christen’s eyes widen, the woman sprinting out of the mall, Kelley and Emily a good few yards behind her, considering Christen literally ran like Usain Bolt.
“We’re on our way!” Kelley yells, hearing a guttural howl from the background.
“MOTHERFUCKER.” You scream and Kelley grimaces, holding the phone away from her ear and Emily snorts.
“So much for not swearing.”
                                                           ***
Tobin barely gets the car put in park, the woman stopping at the emergency room entrance and sprinting inside.
“MY GIRLFRIEND IS HAVING A BABY.” She screams, a number of nurses following after her, wheelchair at the ready.
They help you out of the car, tears streaming down your cheeks as you grimace, the pain becoming unbearable.
“LINDSEY PARK THE CAR.” Tobin yells, throwing the keys at the blonde, the woman’s brows furrowing.
“Who’s Lindsey? I’m not Linds-
“PARK THE CAR.”
Tobin races inside, not even realizing she’d given her car keys to an absolute stranger.
The woman is hot on your heels, piling in the room with the other nurses and your OBGYN.
“Looks like someone is coming a little earlier than expected.” She smiles, noting the wide eyed terror on Tobin’s face.
“Where’s Christ-
Suddenly, the door flies open to reveal a panting Christen Press, the woman’s cheeks flushed and covered in sweat.
“TOBIN! CHRIS!” You yell, the two women rushing to stand beside you, their hands covering your own.
“It’s alright, it’s going to be okay.” Tobin whispers, brushing a wisp of hair out of your face and you wince, the doctors working below the belt to get your legs up in the stirrups.
You lean into Christen’s touch, the woman cupping your cheek.
Tobin leans in, kissing your temple and you sigh, teeth gritting in pain.
“We’re about to meet our little girl.” Tobin whispers, tears swimming in her brown orbs, tears welling up in Christen’s green orbs when she realizes in fact that they were about to meet the little girl they’d all wanted for so long.
You chuckle despite the pain, your tear-filled eyes darting from Christen to Tobin and back.
“I can’t wait.”
                                                           ***
Christen slips an ice chip in your mouth while Tobin wipes the sweat from your forehead, the two women doting on you considering labor was taking a LOT longer than expected and you were absolutely exhausted.
“You’re so close Y/N, can you try and give me one more big push?” The OBGYN asks and you grimace, taking a deep breath, Christen’s hand in yours and Tobin’s hand in the other giving you the strength you need to push as hard as you can.
It’s then that the most beautiful sound in the world pierces your ears, the sound of your little girl’s first cry.
Christen and Tobin pepper kisses all over your sweat covered face, the two grinning as the OB beckons them over, the little girl still wailing in her arms.
“Who wants to cut the cord?” She asks, Tobin and Christen sharing a smile.
“Together?” Christen asks and Tobin nods.
“Always.”
The two women hold the scissors, cutting the baby’s cord before she’s given to you, the baby snuggling into your bare chest.
The little girl immediately goes quiet, as she cuddles against your chest.
Tears stream down your cheeks as you hold the tiny body in your arms, the little girl you, Christen and Tobin had been waiting for, for so long was now in your arms.
Christen and Tobin smile lovingly at the little girl, Christen’s finger running back and forth along her cheek while Tobin runs a gentle hand down her back, the little girl yawning in your arms.
“She’s perfect.” You whisper, brushing the little girl’s bottom lip, the baby suckling on your tip of your finger.
You’re in utter awe when the little girl’s eyes flutter open revealing your bright Y/E/C orbs to the three of your, tears gathering in your eyes as the baby looks up at your face curiously.
“Hey sweetie.” You whisper, the babies eyes darting around your face as you lean down, kissing her forehead.
“I’m your mommy and I love you so so much.”
Christen and Tobin grin, tears in their eyes as you look up at them, nodding to the little girl in your arms.
“Come meet your daughter.”
                                                           ***
It’s a few hours later when Kelley, Emily and Lindsey make their way into the room, their eyes lighting up when they see you fast asleep in bed, the baby in Christen’s arms, also fast asleep.
“Oh my god, she’s so precious.” Emily’s bottom lip trembles as she moves to look at the little girl, stroking her finger until the little girl takes her finger, the hazel orbed blonde sniffling softly.
Kelley brushes some of your hair out of your face, smiling.
“She’s exhausted.” Tobin whispers, smiling when you smile in your sleep, the forward turning towards Lindsey.
“Do you have my keys?” She asks and Lindsey’s brows furrow.
“What are you talking about?” She snorts and Tobin’s eyes widen.
“I-I... I gave you my keys, didn’t I?” She asks and Lindsey shakes her head.
“No... You didn’t I got here just after Sonnett and Kelley.”
Tobin covers her face with her hands.
“Holy fuck I gave someone my keys.”
Christen’s green orbs widen.
“You what!?” She whisper yells, the little girl in her arms waking with a cry.
You immediately sit up from a dead sleepy, eyes blinking rapidly.
Christen hands you the little girl who snuggles into your chest, going silent after a moment before the two of you fall back asleep.
Christen and Tobin share a glance, the two women moving towards the bed, leaning down to kiss you on the head before kissing their daughter.
“We love you both...”
“So so much...”
Finally the thing they wanted for so long was currently fast asleep in your arms.
And they couldn't be happier.

Stuck with the Best Moms [Preath x Daughter!Reader]
Tumblr media
requested by anon: Heyy! Love your writing! Could you do one where R is Preath teen daughter? And how they are doing during quarantine?
A/N: i tried to get this done when they announced their moved to man united but oh well better late than never
“Ma! I’m bored.” You whine.
Tobin chuckles at your position on the couch, as you’re upside down, head hanging off the edge.
“What are you complaining about?” Christen calls, entering the room.
“Mom, there’s nothing to do!” You exasperate and move to sit up right. Your mom rolls her eyes, taking a seat next to you.
“(Y/N), you are 17 years old. Certainly, there’s something you can find that will entertain you.”
“But I wanna do something with you guys.” You huff. Christen and Tobin soften at that and exchange a silent conversation. During the lockdown, the two forwards had been quite busy with re-inc, leaving you to your own devices.
“Have you been feeling a little neglected, kiddo?” Tobin coos, moving to the other side of you.
Leaning your head on your ma’s shoulder, your cheeks flush. “No.” You mumble.
“(Y/N), you know you can tell us anything.” Christen takes your hands in hers.
“It’s just—— When we went into lockdown, I thought we’d finally get to spend some quality time together, but you guys have just been really busy with re-inc.” You spill.
“Why didn’t you tell us?” Your mom asks, her eyebrows furrowed in concern. She knew that her and her wife’s schedules were always so busy with travel for both the national team and their respective clubs, leaving little time for all three of you to spend quality family time together.
“I didn’t want to bother you, and I know how important re-inc is to you guys.” You sigh. Because of how often either one or both of your parents were traveling, you were a very independent teenager. Therefore, you never really wanted to disturb your mothers, as you were very proud of their accomplishments both on and off the field.
“(Y/N), will you look at me?” Christen gently lifts your chin, causing you to look directly into your mom’s green orbs. “Yes, re-inc is important to us, but you are a thousand times more important to us.” She emphasizes, as Tobin nods along in agreement, rubbing your back.
“Chris is right.” Your ma adds. “And we are so sorry that we haven’t been making enough time to spend with you.”
“It’s okay.” You give your mothers a soft smile.
“We love you, (Y/N).” Christen whispers, kissing your temple. “So much.”
Tobin wraps her arms around you, pulling you in a tight hug. “How bout this?” She starts. “I’ll try and see if I can get us into Providence later today, then we can go pick up some Gilda’s on the way home, and we can watch whatever movie you want tonight.”
Your eyes widen at your ma’s suggestion, as you nod your head excitedly. Although you were already getting call ups from the national youth team and scholarship offers from many D1 schools, you were always eager to get some touches on the field, and it didn’t hurt that two of the best forwards in the world were your parents.
“Alright then. Why don’t you get changed, while I make a call to Mark, and then we’ll walk over there.” Before Tobin could even finish, you were already rushing to your room, leaving your moms to chuckle at your enthusiasm.
—————
Upon arriving to the field, you immediately pull out a ball and start juggling. Before beginning their own warmup, Christen and Tobin stop to watch their daughter, their hearts bursting with pride for the young woman they’ve raised.
The three of you spend almost two hours at the training center. Tobin and Christen put you through a couple of drills and competitions and then all three of you play a little keep away.
“Did you just meg me?!” Tobin gasps, chasing after you.
“Don’t hurt me!” You scream, giggling, as you run away from your ma, who eventually catches up to you.
You pass the ball to Christen, before Tobin tackles you to the ground, tickling your sides.
“Stop! Stop! You win!” You pant, as you try to catch your breath, admitting defeat.
“That nutmeg wasn’t very nice, kiddo.” Tobin playfully scolds.
“You were the one who taught me that!” You tease your mother, who throws her head back with a laugh.
“Alright you two.” Christen approaches with an ear-splitting grin across her face. “Let’s go get some food.” She helps the two of you up, as you pack up the balls and head over to Gilda’s.
—————
Entering the apartment, takeout in hand, you place the food on the counter, ready to dig in.
“Ah, ah ah.” Christen grabs your wrist, stopping you from opening the container. “You go shower. We’ll dish out the food and set the table.”
“But—” You protest.
“Go! You stink.” Your mom insists, sticking her tongue out at you. Pouting, you reluctantly head to your bathroom.
Once you’ve cleansed yourself off and changed into a re-inc crewneck and a pair of bike shorts, you reenter the kitchen, smiling at the sight in front of you. Tobin was finishing setting the table, whistling along to the soft hum folklore in the background, while Christen was bringing the plates of food the counter, humming to the music. You wanted to cherish these small moments with your parents, not only because of how rare they were, but also because you would be heading off to college soon.
“Kiddo!” Tobin beams, noticing your presence. “C’mon let’s eat.”
Taking your seat at the counter, you dish out everyone’s food. A couple of bites in, you let out a moan of satisfaction.
“Ugh. This is delicious.” You shove another mouthful of pasta into your mouth.
Both of your mothers share a light-hearted chuckle. “I take it you like it, love?” Christen smirks, as you nod enthusiastically, your mouth too full of food to respond.
“So, kid, anymore offers?” Tobin casually brings up, receiving a warning glare from her wife. College had been a delicate topic the past couple of months, as you were having a difficult time choosing a school that met your needs both athletically and academically, causing you a great deal of stress.
You gulp down your food. “Ummm. Yeah. I got some calls from Duke, Portland, Cal, and Washington. And USC, Stanford, UCLA, and UNC called again, wanting me to meet the rest of the team.” You mutter, fidgeting with your hands.
Tobin bounces in her seat like an excited child, going to ask you more questions. But before she can speak, Christen shoots her another glare, effectively silencing her.
“That’s exciting, dear. You excited for the Premier League to start?” Your mother smiles, before changing the subject, knowing you didn’t particularly like talking about college. Christen herself was not particularly fond of the subject either, not ready for her baby to leave her. Although, you wouldn’t be that far, considering you’d most likely be called up to the national team pretty soon.
As dinner progresses, you and your mothers catch up, discussing recent events, soccer, and even a little gossip. Tobin eventually does coax the college conversation out of you, resulting in your moms having a mini argument over Stanford versus UNC.
As you finish up dinner and clear the table, Tobin starts making some popcorn for your movie night.
“What do you wanna watch, love? It’s your choice.” Christen asks, turning on the TV and grabbing a couple of blankets.
“Can we watch Clueless?” You give her a cheeky grin, knowing your mom didn’t particularly like the chick flick.
“Of course.” Christen sighs, playfully rolling her eyes, as she kisses your forehead.
“What’re we watching?” Tobin plops down next to, popping a piece of popcorn into her mouth.
“Clueless.” You grin, as your ma throws her head back, groaning.
“Again?”
“You did say it was my choice.” You sing.
“I guess I did say that.” Tobin grumbles, snuggling into your side, Christen doing the same, so you’re sandwiched between the two women.
“Good, because it’s starting so shh.” You stuff your mouth with a handful of popcorn.
—————
Towards the end of the movie, you find your eyes slowly drooping. You move to lay down across your moms, your head in Christen’s lap, your feet across Tobin’s.
“You tired, sweetie?” Christen runs her hand through your hair.
“A little.” You mumble.
“Yeah, you played pretty hard today, kiddo.” Tobin massages your calfs.
Turning around, you look up at your parents. “Can we do something tomorrow?” You sheepishly ask. “I mean, like it doesn’t have to be as time consuming as what we did today, but maybe a game or just like sitting down for a cup of coffee.” You elaborate.
The two older women feel their hearts melt, wanting nothing more than to spend time with their daughter.
“Of course, (Y/N/N).” Tobin squeeze your leg.
“We would love that.” Christen adds, placing a kiss to your hair.
“Awesome.” You beam and turn back to face the television.
As the credits start to roll, you stretch.
“I think I’m gonna head to bed.” You yawn.
“Alright, good night, kiddo.”
“Good night, baby.”
Getting up from the couch, you give Tobin a hug and kiss Christen’s cheek. “Thanks for today, moms. I had a great day.”
“See, it’s pretty awesome being stuck inside with your parents, eh?” Tobin smirks.
“Uh, I wouldn’t go that far.” You call back to her, biting back a smile, as you make your way to your bedroom.
Although being stuck in lockdown was extremely boring, you had to admit that you had the best moms, and yeah, it was pretty awesome.

Tobin Heath x daughter!reader
Having a parent that is a soccer star can be challenging for a kid, but not for me because my mom was at every game and school event. Even if she wasn’t she would send one of my Aunts to fill in for her and tell her what she missed.
Being the child of a soccer star, and having the world knowing about you it puts a lot of pressure on you to be like your mom and better. Especially in the world of sports, everyone wanted you to follow in your mom’s footsteps and play soccer, but your mom sat you down and let you know that you could play whatever sport you wanted and you loved that about her.
Once sports came into play you essentially started playing two sports because you always loved a challenge and that’s what came with playing two sports. Also with playing two sports, came double the responsibility, practices and whatever other challenge that came with playing two sports at a time.
—Skip to moments before the Basketball game—
“Are you nervous?” Mom asked while I was lacing up my shoes to get ready for the game that was to take place in less than an hour.
“Is it weird if I say I’m not?” I asked.
“It’s not. You have dealt with a lot more challenges than playing in a championship game.” Aunt Christen said —who in my opinon should become my mama, but that’s another story—.
—Championship game—
Everyone knew how much this game meant to not just me, to the team, the school, this town, and the state. This would be the first championship that the school had won in over 5 years. Every year they would just fall short of getting to the championship, but not this year and not if (Y/N) Heath has anything to do with it.
——
We are now in the last minute of the game and a foul that I have never seen or witnessed had been done, an opponent from the other team pulled on my ponytail. As soon as she pulled it our fans went crazy, but all I heard was my mom’s screaming at the referee to call something, but sadly she didn’t. That was the extra push we needed in the final stretch of this game.
—30 seconds—
We are down by two and I have the ball dribbling up the court while watching the time slowly dwindling. Looking for either an opening to the basket or an open teammate, the shot clock showed we had 15 seconds to get rid of the ball or we would face a shot clock violation and our chances for that championship are as good as gone. Thankfully I saw the opening I needed and I knew they were gonna send a double my way no matter what. So as I’m driving to the basket I see out the corner of my eye a teammate is open in the corner for a three, so instead of settling for the basket I get an assist out of it and my team takes the lead.
All we can hope for now is a steal or two more points to have this out of there reach.
Once they inbound the ball, one of my teammates runs and steals it and passes it to me for an easy two as time expires, but as I come down from the layup an opponent pushes me while I am still in the air and she causes me to fall. But the way I fell caused nothing as we won the first championship for my school in basketball in 5 years.
After shaking hands with the opposing team and having the ceremony, my cheering squad has vanished from the gym, but I know where they are. As I am walking back to the locker room I get stopped by the US Women’s Olympic basketball teams coach asking if I would like to play with them.
“I would have to ask my mom.” I said.
“That’s alright, here is my card and call me when you are ready and nice win.” She said. I thanked her and walked a little bit further and got stopped again by someone I wasn’t expecting, Coach K.
“Hey (Y/N) good game out there.” Coach K said.
“Thank you coach that means a lot coming from you.”
“No problem, I know you are in the 10th grade, but how would you on behalf of the women’s basketball organization and the women’s coach at Duke, like to come and play with the team for a day?” Coach asked.
“That is an amazing opportunity, I would just have to ask my mom first that’s all.”
“I understand, take my card and give me a call ok.”
“Thanks again coach.”
—locker room—
As soon as I walked into the locker room I was sprayed with water as if I was drenched in enough liquid. But in all that I was given hugs and told congratulations. The person I was looking for was in front of my cubby with a huge smile on her face and arms waiting for me.
“I’m extremely proud of you.” Mom told me with tears in her eyes.
“Thanks mom.”
“I have two announcements to make.” I said grabbing everyone’s attention. “The first thing is, I was invited to play basketball in the Olympics by the coach” I say and everyone starts cheering “that’s not all. I was also offered to play with the ladies basketball team at Duke for a day by Coach K on behalf of the women’s coach.” After saying the last part mom hugged me and everyone else surrounded that hug.
“I’m sooo proud of you.” Mom whispered in my ear.
———
On the way home mom said Aunt Christen was coming over to hangout and I was fine with that because I love Aunt Christen.
While we were waiting for Aunt Christen I told mom I wanted Aunt Christen as my mama and she wanted my approval before she did anything.
—1 1/2 years later—
Hi and before you ask, yes, I am still playing two sports. Yes, mom and mama are still together. Yes, it is time for me to pick where I wanna further my education and athletic career. But throughout this entire process, I love challenges and I love what they bring.

I know it’s just Tobin, but it’s a flash of Preath at the end.
This imagine was also inspired by the Gif above.

Baby Preath
Tumblr media
Preath x Baby!Reader
Finally finished this. I wanted to write it about the game Angel City had against San Diego recently, but changed it to OL Reign. Hope y’all like it!
masterlist
Los Angeles FC vs OL Reign
It would’ve been the first time Christen and Tobin would have played against one another after getting married, but Christen unfortunately is out due to injury. They haven’t publicly said that they were married, but the hard Preath shippers know, but respect their privacy.
During the players’ warmups, the big screen shows Christen Press walking out of the tunnel, with her crutch, being escorted by Jennifer Garner and Glennon Doyle, waving to all the vans who showed up to support. Tobin sees this and her lips subtly tug upwards.
Christen sits down at her seat and watches everyone on the field, sneaking in glances at Tobin, not bothering to hide her smile when they lock eyes. Before you know it, the game had started.
Eight minutes in, Angel City was able to get around OL Reign’s defense and get a goal by Ali Riley. The crowd goes wild. Even Christen gets up from her seat to cheer her teammates on from the audience. Eighty minutes in, Angel City was able to get another goal to put them up ahead 2-1.
All of this cheering, however, reached all the way into the locker room, where your little ears wears able to hear to crowd’s excitement. You stirred, sitting up, rubbing you eyes with your fist. Looking around, you look for where your Mommy could be, but couldn’t see her.
Your eyes started to water and bottom lip starts to quiver, you just wanted you Mommy. Looking around, should started to recognize where you were, so you looked for the door, opened it, and started walking out. You’ve been here many times, so you knew where everything is, especially how to get to the field.
You walk a bit more until you see the light at the end of the tunnel. You begin walking faster, but not much as you have short legs.
As you get closer, the noises got louder, a little too loud for your liking.
“Woah.” You said to yourself. You were amazed by how many people you see all around you, distracting you from your quest to find your Mommy. Unfortunately, the crowd cheers again, even louder than before.
“MOMMY!” You cried out. “MOMMY!” Tears started streaming down your face. Luckily, the person that was supposed to be watching you comes running out of the tunnel, your backpack hanging from her shoulder.
“Hey, Y/N. It’s okay.” She crouched down, wrapping her arms around you. She was one of your favorite staff members on the team. She always watched you and played with you while Christen was practicing.
“I wan Mommy!” You cried into her shoulder.
“Okay. Let’s go to Mommy.” She stood up with you still in her arms. She walked up a couple of steps, seeing Christen sitting on one of the seats. “Hey, look who’s over there.” She said pointing towards Christen’s direction.
You lift your head out from her neck to look at where she was pointing. “MOMMY!” You yelled, wiggling in her arms, trying to escape. She sets you down on the ground, where you immediately run off to Christen. “MOMMY!” You yelled again, crashing into her good leg, trying to climb up.
Christen is surprised, not expecting to see you. She sees you lifting your arms over your head, picking you up and setting you on her lap facing her.
“Hi, Bubs. What are you doing up from your nap.”
“Too loud Mommy.” You lay your head on her chest. “I miss you.”
She wraps both her arms around you. “I missed you too bubs.” She grabs your earmuffs from you bag, the bag that the person that was taking care of you gave to her, and puts them over your ears, hearing you sigh in relief.
You were now happily watching the game with your ear muffs, seeing your Mama play. The last couple minutes left, your Mama gets subbed out.
“Mama no play no more?” You ask Christen.
“Yeah, Mama all done.”
“We go see?”
“In a little bit.”
“Otay.”
Before you know it, everyone is cheering loudly again, celebrating an Angel City win.
“MOMMY WIN!” You cheered, holding you hands over your head.
“My team did win baby.”
“But Mama lost.” You said sincerely. You are happy that Christen’s team win, but also sad that Tobin’s team lost.
“You have to give Mama a big hug to cheer her up.”
“I give bes hugs!” You wrap your arms around your body, hugging yourself.
Christen sets you down on the floor, you walk next to her carefully on the field. Then, you see someone with a microphone and someone else with a big camera walking towards you and your Mom.
“Hey, Christen, could we ask you a couple of questions?”
“Yeah, sure.” She answered with a big smile. “Stay here and hold onto Mommy’s leg okay.” She told you.
“Otay Mommy.”
“We are here with Christen Press. Christen, how do you feel about the win tonight?”
“Very proud of the girls on the win. They did amazing either the ball movement, communication, yeah.”
As Christen’s interview goes on, Tobin is also getting interviewed a couple feet away. You see her from the corner of your eye.
“MAMA!” You yelled, letting go of Christen’s leg, running straight to where Tobin is, crashing into her legs making her stumble a bit.
“Hi Munchkin!” Tobin matched your energy, picking you up and setting you on her hip, your arms going around her neck.
“And who’s this?” The interviewer asks. You pick your head up, turning your head towards her.
“I Y/N, I this many.” You say holding three fingers up.
“No Bubs, you’re four now remember.” Tobin corrected, putting up one more of your fingers.
“Oh, yeah.” You said in a ‘duh’ tone, slapping your forehead.
“She just had a birthday a couple of weeks ago.”
“Really! Well happy birthday to you.”
“Tank you.” You mumbled into your Mama’s neck, shyly responding.
“Hey, guys.” You hear the voice of your Mommy behind you.
“Mommy! Look! I found Mama!”
“You did find Mama.” She said with a big smile.
“Mama lost. Sowwy you lost Mama.” You said giving her a kiss on the lips. “But Mommy team won.”
The family of three were busy in their own world completely forgetting about the camera pointed at them for the interview. The camera panned away from the family and to the interviewer.
“I’ll just leave the family be, but that was Tobin Heath. What a cute family.”
People watching this interview from home was shocked by this interaction. They were happy for the Preath content, but a four-year-old child calling them Mommy and Mama, now that made people speechless.
In the stadium, many had their phones out, recording and capturing this family moment, their hearts melting seeing baby Preath.
“Can we go eat ice cweam now?”
“Let’s go get ice cream.”

PREATH BABY?!
Christen Press (Angel City FC Forward) and Tobin Heath (OL Reign Forward) shared a very cute moment after the game and the fans can’t stop talking about it.
On Saturday, July 9, 2022, Angel City FC played in their home stadium against OL Reign. Everyone was excited to see Heath and Press in the same place at the same time, but that’s not all that got them freaking out.
During Heath’s post-game interview, a small child was heard running towards her. What she said shocked fans. The child, Y/N (four-years-old) was heard calling her ‘Mama’ and when Christen Press joins them, the child had called her ‘Mommy.’
Is this a confirmation of Preath and a Preath Baby?
———
“Looks like little munchkin is famous.” Tobin said, putting her phone down on the bedside table.
“I guess she is.”
