SemMéxico. Cd. de México. 20 de agosto de 2018.- Sólo en 2016,  20 mil mujeres al día sufrieron violencia de género. Esto es siete millones 703 mil 409  resistieron algún tipo de violencia por parte de su pareja o en espacios públicos; el 61.66 por ciento tenían entre 26 y 55 años; solamente cerca de cien mil, 0.07 por ciento,  reportaron estos crímenes a la autoridad, más de 84 mil mujeres denunciaron peligro a su integridad y amenazas de muerte, reveló la Secretaría de Gobernación en PREVIM una nueva plataforma digital de información para la prevención instalada con recursos del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), la participación de sociedad civil y varias universidades.

Presentada ayer en público, difundida con un escueto boletín, al navegar en su contenido deja ver que en 2016 en  los espacios públicos o comunitarios, en el transporte, los  centros laborales, escuela, parques públicos y caminos vecinales, las mujeres vivieron violencia sexual y acoso en 34.3%, principalmente en los estados de México, Ciudad de México, Veracruz y Jalisco con cifras  a la alza, no obstante las declaratorias de la Alerta de Violencia de Género contra las Mujeres(AVGM) en 91 municipios de los casi 2 mil 500 del país.

Esta plataforma nace 11 años después del mandato de la Ley de Acceso de las Mujeres por una Vida sin Violencia y todavía está pendiente la creación de un verdadero y actualizado banco de datos. Lo nuevo es la forma en que se presenta la información que según SEGOB permitirá revitalizar un trabajo de información y prevención de la violencia contra las mujeres.
