𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚'𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 A heart-shaped gold locket with the front engraved with an EV cypher (E for her father and V for her mother). The locket contains the hair of Duke Edward and Duchess Victoria of Kent. It reads " Present from her Mother to her beloved Victoria on the First Anniversary of her Birthday 24 May 1820. The gift from the Duchess of Kent was one of a group of jewels that were placed in the " Albert Room " at Windsor Castle after the death of Queen Victoria in 1901. The room was the same one in which Prince Albert died in 1861 and the Queen left instructions for a specific list of her personal jewellery to be placed there and not passed on in the family. #queenvictoria #queenvictoriaofengland #dukeofkent #duchessofkent #locket #royaljewellery #royaljewels #britishhistory #britishroyaljewels #historyroyals #historicalfigures #womeninroyalty #womeninhistory #jewellery #victorianjewelry #victorianera #history #royalhistory #royalty #royalfamily (at Kensington Palace) https://www.instagram.com/p/CjqMS5qITBJ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Today marks 122 years since Queen Victoria died thus ending her remarkable reign and ushering in a new reign led her by her eldest son and heir Albert Edward who would become King Edward VII only ruling for nine years before he would be succeeded by his only surviving son and heir George V would not only lead England through World War I but also peace while at the same time changing the name of the family house from his father and grandfather Saxe-Coburg Gotha to Windsor as a means of trying to heal in the country together during the brutal years of World War I. What none of them knew was that George’s eldest son and heir Edward would throw the dynasty into a crisis by abdicating the throne just 35 years later to marry Wallis Simpson which ultimately led to his second son succeeding and his daughter who was their descendant Elizabeth Alexandra Mary passing Victoria and her reign to become the longest reigning monarch in history. All three of them would be proud of her especially Victoria as she was able to do exactly what she did which was put The Crown first just like Charles and William are doing right now during a time of crisis. I highly recommend that everyone find and watch Private Lives of The Monarchs on Queen Victoria and also the TV series Victoria. #ukmonarchy #ukhistory #britishroyalfamily #queenvictoria #queenvictoriaofengland #kingedwardvii #edwardvii #georgev #kinggeorgev https://www.instagram.com/p/CnvPoAuON1uE8ohWV7FyXVXB_JXVtEMu6Nyr7k0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Issac Newton walked up to the palace, Queen Victoria had invited him over for some tea, and he didn't seem to have any trouble with it.

((Can we also RP historical people who weren't in HH?))
We have Christopher Marlowe in the RP, and visits from Richard Cromwell and Claudius, so yes, we can stretch to that.

OOC message: I just read through your date messages and I just wanted to sayyou are perfect, I love you, you are brilliant, you are amazing. I'm a die-hard Rickardian and basically worship the air he breathes but I think your Bobsy is actually even funnier than his.
What no what how do you FUNNIER THAN HIM I can't that isn't I have lost ability to can I'm sorry but oh my gosh that makes me so happy
Now I would go [ahem] and then write out a response that's actually coherent but I DON'T THINK I CAN...
THANK YOU SO MUCH... I love Larry and Bob Hale so much, so to know that I'm doing him justice is really, really wonderful.

There is a wonderful show that I love and want another season of about the early years of Queen Victoria’s reign called Victoria which is similar to The Crown about their descendant Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. These two pictures are from the final season/series of the show although unfortunately there are only 3 seasons. Both of the actors who played Victoria and Albert looked just like the two of them in the paintings and portraits from those years that are depicted in the series just like the actors that have played the royal family on The Crown although there is one actor that appeared on both series: the actor who played the abdicated Edward VIII II in the first two seasons of The Crown plus the season 5 flashbacks also played Victoria and Albert’s uncle Leopold I of Belgium who was basically the matchmaker for his niece and nephew just like his relative Louis Mountbatten played matchmaker for Elizabeth and Philip who ended up having a loving marriage like their ancestors. Out of the deceptions of the royals that I have seen so far and I know there are so many more I haven’t seen yet, my three all-time personal favorites are Victoria, The Crown, and The King’s Speech. Both Prince Philip and King Charles III were like their ancestor Prince Albert in terms of wanting something for themselves while at the same time Charles knew that he was going to be end up being King 🤴 when his mother died just like his ancestor Albert Edward knew he was going to end up being King 🤴 when their mothers passed although none of them had any idea they would have such long reigns. Watch this show as it is so good and we see so many similarities that have passed on the family line through the generations! #victorianroyals #victoriatvseries #victoriatvshow #jennacoleman #tomhughes #victoriaandalbert #queenvictoria #queenvictoriaofengland #princealbert #princealbertofsaxecoburgandgotha #kingedwardvii #edwardvii #edwardviioftheunitedkingdom #edwardviiofuk #ukroyalfamily #britishroyalfamily #britishroyals https://www.instagram.com/p/Ck89Pc6vW6Z/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

"The crown is a heavy burden. To bear it, you must have the right person at your side." This quote fits Queen Victoria and Prince Albert easily because that is exactly what he was to her and also partly why they worked so well together as a couple. He was who she needed to stand by her side. #ukroyalfamily #britishroyalfamily #queenvictoria #princealbert #victoriaoftheuk #princealbertofsaxecoburgandgotha #queenvictoriaofengland https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj5xqjkOZd9/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

No one else wants to come to the party so far, right? Are we going to settle on 8/9pm then?
Besides Caligula, who said to you he's coming, that's right.
So that's 9pm for you, 8pm for me and 2 or 3pm for some American people. Yeah.

Mr. Sotherby, your bravery is admirable! Charles II must be very grateful to have such a loyal man at his side!
It's very kind of you to say so, Your Majesty, but really it's what any loyal Englishman would have done.

OOC message: Her majesty wants to ask you if it would be possible for her to have a tea party here sometime? You have probably noticed by now how much she loves tea parties....
Of course her majesty can have that! What were you thinking of for it? Make a nice event out of it, ask people to attend beforehand to ensure you'll have some visitors, different style of roleplaying like everyone's in the same room?
What time would you like it? Then we could make a post, perhaps detailing what time that is in different time zones so people know if they can come.

I already voted but since you asked for convenient days/times: evenings always work best for me, i.e. after 9pm (German time). As for days I guess every day is okay, weekends preferred.
Thanks for letting us know! We'll probably do the event during the weekend, as I'm sure it'd help with availability. I'm happy to say that I think that time is pretty compatible with UK and American time zones, at least.
