Thinking about an AU where Ritsu is the one who ends up being Reigen's student instead. Say he's there when Mob sees the sign, dissuades him from going in because "it's probably a scam anyway!" But then of course, little envious Ritsu ends up coming back the next day, unable to help himself at the chance, the possibility that someone could help him develop psychic powers like his brother. He figures Reigen out almost immediately, of course, because he demands to be shown Reigen's power. But Ritsu is desperate, and Reigen has always had a kind way with words, and soon enough Ritsu and Reigen are going ghosts adventures! Leaving Mob behind :') Even more alone than before :'))

And as S&S fills up with things of ACTUAL spiritual significance, like artifacts and purified salt and herbs at Ritsu's obsessive insistence as he tries to find an in to psychic powers and Reigen tries to encourage him without encouraging him, Ritsu and Reigen get closer. Ritsu is more surly than Mob, less inherently trusting and more emotional, more easily annoyed—but he has no reason to hate Reigen in this verse. Reigen has never even met Mob, much less used his powers for his own gain. Reigen grows incredibly fond of this desperate boy, good at everything but the one thing he wants to be good at, and tries to lead him away from those feelings of jealousy and inadequacy. In turn, Ritsu himself is healthier. A little easier going, though still almost perpetually bristling with temper 😮‍💨

He and Mob are closer as a result! He becomes Mob's only friend, more open with his own thoughts and feelings and, thanks to Reigen, far less afraid of him. Mob is more emotionally stunted than ever, and though he has some tentative acquaintances in the Telepathy club, he's still mostly alone and isolated. All of Reigen's helpful advice on dealing with his autism (identified by how Ritsu speaks about his Shige-nii and the behaviors he says he exhibits) is relayed through Ritsu, who comes to understand Mob a little more because of it.

But—oh, didn't I mention? This is a soulmate AU :)

Ritsu has two marks; one for Mob, and one for Reigen. Mob never develops a mark for Ritsu, but he expects that, obviously. Reigen also doesn't develop a mark for Ritsu, but given their age difference, Ritsu also expects that. He's a smart boy, and he knows that not all soulmarks are reciprocated. It's fine. They don't need to be. Ritsu has mostly made peace with his lot in life.

That is, before Mob and Reigen finally meet in person. And instantly develop matching soulmarks.

...Ritsu's psychic awakening is only slightly better than his brother's.

Okay I am proposing a tagging idea:

What if the adult profic mp100 community used the tag "mobu saiko 100" instead so we won't run into kids or antis?

(Using profic and proship to just mean "ship and let ship" and "fictional portrayals are OK" and no harassment and that stuff, but tagging some problematic ships just because people in those tags would probably be into this idea)

Right, this is a long shot that I wish I'd remembered earlier - but I've had an idea for a project for a long time and have only just realised the best way to do it is with help... Like a lot of help.

So calling any and all* artists of the mp100 fandom

I'm trying to turn something absolutely ridiculous around either for the end of the countdown or ASAP after, and I'm looking to collaborate with... Well as many people as possible to get that to happen.

I do want to be coy about the specifics in public, but the art to do for each person will be flexible for what you feel comfortable committing to, and is intended to be accessible for all skill levels. And that'll all get pulled together in a big canvas - so a decent photo, scan or a transparent PNG is basically the only requirement.

I'm still nailing down the final scope and figuring out what might be feasible, but if you'd be interested in taking part in a community Collab project and want the details please get in touch through inbox or DM and I'll fill you in with a more specific brief. And I will stress again - this isn't going to be a selective process!! The more people join in the more this project will "work"

—things exploded and led to one thing and another and now, im writing a Ed/winry/Al/Riza fic. Thank you, friends. it’s fake dating which im absolute trash for and having the best time of my life.

—was reading fic again and read ‘aomine has made bad decisions drunk’ and went, huh, okay and start to write about Aomine Drunk and Bad Decisions. I didn’t honestly know where I was heading for it, just had a line in my head and ran with it… and it ended turning into Aokaga, lol and im having so much fun with this.

—new wip! ridiculous aominecest idea that’s been on my mind actually, for some time….I Definitely think that …I have no idea as to how I was gonna finish that sentence, lmao. only past me does.

—new wip! just kagakise + kisses. I don’t even know where I’m going with it… I just had this line in mind and started to write. lets see where it goes!

—KAGAKISE LIVING TOGETHER, FUTURE FIC, GETTING TOGETHER AND SO MUCH FLUFF yeah it’s a new wip with that trope “we kiss and don’t notice until a bit later” oh my god im so in love with this idea. —okay I was thinking about midotaka and luck because I saw this super adorable art of mido with a takao bear and was like TAKA WOULD DEFF BUY HIS FOR MIDO FOR LUCK and then remember the “kiss for luck” thing and how perfect it would be for these two and started to get writing loving it <3

—nobamai! okay, so it’s six sentence day today and I was like… what idea should I start on? I didn’t want to do for the knb ones (current fandom im in) so i decided my playlist to choose for me and it was — jjk, and thing is. I should have went for a itafushi idea but… I don’t really have any of those and so I should have went for a itafushikugi idea because of the music that came up…. but I cheated and went for nobamai because I have a lot in there y’know. For this idea, I kinda already had something in written… took that and started writing! and EXCITED to get to the noba & Mai interactions because it’s gonna be hella fun

—originally I wasn’t going to do “edition one” but! I was like, it’s good to do it because im actually on working on them! and put it up to my playlist to decide, it said aot, and so I worked on here we breath part two. it was really just editing and FINALLY choosing between the two diff versions I had (coin flip, it decided the first) and im actually closer to finish! whoop! but also I really didn’t want to finish it because I’m not really in aot mood.

—considering that one wasn’t really an sss day thing. I did playlist shift again, and it went with knb but I didn’t want to do work knb as sss day, skipped and it was orv! VIOLENT/GORY VIDEO GAMES.

If you don’t hate people who play violent video games, don’t attack mobrei shippers.

Or ritmob/ritrei/any of the sort. I don’t care, i don’t actually ship any of the above, but i am a rational human being who could move past my initial emotional response.

I just think it is wrong for people to be actively anti- these ships, and i’ve seen enough of your hate. You are no different from people who thought video games can make people prone to conducting violent behaviors.

Try attack my logic, do not use emotional claims. That will help you really think about what you’re really doing.

Age Swap Ritrei is antagonistic actually. And not even in the same way regular Ritrei is—regular Ritrei antagonism is usually really one-sided; Reigen never actively tries to piss Ritsu off, he does it by just, you know, existing.

But little Arataka does! :D Do it on purpose, that is—and he does this through flirting, because he knows it throws Ritsu off the most. Though he doesn't actually have any romantic feelings for Ritsu (though he definitely wouldn't say no if Ritsu went for it) he finds it incredibly funny to make him blush because he always hisses and spits like a flustered, angry cat. Flirting is Arataka's secret weapon ✨

Like,,,,Ritsu insults Arataka by calling him a little rat, making fun of his schemeing personality and birth year, and the next tjme they go out for lunch Mob holds the door open for them and Ritsu goes to go in first and Arataka just "AH AH. Fleas before beauty." and waltzes in before him while Ritsu bluescreens for a solid two minutes. Then he goes all red and runs after him to dunk him in the restaurant aquarium tank for being a brat.

Ritsu holds something up above Arataka's head so he can't reach it and when he realizes that climbing Ritsu won't work, Arataka drops to one knee and whips out a (eaten) ring pop and starts proposing; Ritsu drops the desired object on Arataka's head and then flees the room claiming hives.

So, basically:

Ritsu: "You suck"

Artaka, without batting an eyelash: "I swallow too"

Mob, sighing and smiling at the ensuing dogfight: *just happy his two favorite people are getting along*
