Anyways! This is my Mommy kink blog, I just felt like it should be separated as it has different vibes from my main blog. I just like being called Mommy and having it as a title and a vibe? in a way. My Mommy kink usually goes hand in hand with being softer, gentler and more caring usually.

Some MTG mechanics I’m working on. Been a while since I posted any new cards on here. I made a legendary for each of the five mechanics here, and none are really meant to mesh together. This isn’t like mechanics for a custom set, just ideas. On mobile so no renders yet.

Retreat

Retreat is a keyword action meaning to untap a creature and remove it from combat. It is a shortening of part of the Gustcloak ability. I flip-flopped between this version and one with it as a keyword ability that is the full “When this creature becomes blocked, you can untap it and remove it from combat.” Still not certain I want to settle on this version. I imagine it as a mainly White ability like all the Gustcloaks. Green is secondary as it gets creature untap and damage prevention. Blue gets it tertiary because it also untaps and could use another combat trick.

Marius, One-Man Legion 2GWU Legendary Creature - Human Knight Trample Whenever another creature you control is blocked, you may have it retreat, and if you do, ~ gets +1/+1 until end of turn. [i]Many retreat from a battle they find hopeless. But I don’t believe in such a thing as hopeless fights.[/i] 3/3

War Charge

War Charge X (If an opponent has taken damage this turn, you may cast this card for its War Charge Cost)

An alternate cost mechanic like a mixture of Bloodthirst and Prowl. Some cards get an additional ability if cast with War Charge but I avoided +1/+1 counters so it doesn’t feel too close to Bloodthirst. Mainly Red, some Black.

Valdbrandr, Daudfinna Captain 5RR Legendary Creature - Human Berserker Haste, Trample War Charge 3RR (If an opponent has taken damage this turn, you can cast this card for its War Charge cost) When ~ enters your battlefield, after your first postcombat main phase this turn, there is an additional combat phase, followed by an additional main phase. Untap all creatures you control at the beginning of that combat phase. 4/4

I don’t speak Old Norse so I used an online dictionary. According to that his name is roughly Wolf-blade and he is the captain of death-visit.

Compost

Compost (When this creature dies, create a 1/1 green Saproling creature token)

A simple ability I could imagine in Green and White or Black depending on the set. I feel plenty of people have made this before, probably down to name.

Augur

Augur (When this creature dies, Scry 1)

This is one I’m really unsure of. Especially since it is a nested keyword. But it is a simple one. I could kinda imagine all colors getting this with focus in Black and Green or Blue.

Thanarios, Elder Haruspex BG Legendary Creature - Human Shaman Augur When another creature you control dies, Scry 1. During your end step, if you’ve Scried three or more times this turn, return ~ from your Graveyard to the Battlefield under your control. 2/3

Snap

Snap [Cost] (You may cast this card for its Snap Cost. If you do, it becomes snapped.)

A kinda reverse kicker. Snap is less than the regular cost but has a weaker effect. It is an Instant and Sorcery mechanic, unlike Kicker which can be on any spell.

Wyatt, Deadshot Spellslinger 3UR Legendary Creature - Human Wizard Prowess, First Strike When you cast a spell for its Snap cost, it doesn’t become Snapped. 2/5

Since they don’t become Snapped, Wyatt allows you to pretty much get them at a discount with no drawback. The flavor here is a Wild West style one with Spellslingers instead of gunslingers. Snap is a quick draw and shoot, you don’t get as much time to build up or aim the spell but you get it quicker.
