When your favorite pistol comes in in your favorite color, it's a no brainer.

Zero day evidence

Gabriel carried a backpack that contained spare ammunition for all their weapons, 7 pipe bombs, a roll of duct tape, and 4 butane lighters.

Gabriel's M1 .30 carbine was essentially an assault rifle; it was used by the United States Armed Forces from World War II through the early sixties. It is capable of accepting 40 round magazines (Gabriel had only 15 round magazines) and fires each time the trigger is pulled. His pistol was a copy of the well known Colt .45 semiautomatic used by the U.S. Army since 1911. Kreigman's shotgun was typical of 12 gauge shotguns designed for hunting. Kriegman sawed off the stock behind the pistol grip, reducing it's length to about 34". His revolver was a standard .357 revolver, and the Glock automatic pistol he carried is the same model used as a police sidearm.

Andre Kriegman carried a Smith and Wesson Model 3000 12 gauge pump action shotgun, a Glock 21C automatic pistol and a Ruger GP-100 .357 revolver. He wore an "urban camouflage" (black, grey, and white) T-shirt, black cargo pants, and black sneakers. He had a spare magazine for the Glock 21C. He also carried a Cold Steel brand fixed blade combat knife.

Kriegman and Gabriel carried a large amount of spare ammunition. There was 189 rounds of .30 carbine, 100 of which was loaded in stripper clips (a military device to speed up loading), 109 rounds of .45 ACP for the Glock and the Norinco, 76 rounds of .357 magnum (6 loaded in a speed loader) and 67 12 gauge shotgun shells, mostly buckshot.

The two gunmen were not experts with their weapons. They mostly used their longarms; they used the handguns in situations where their targets were confined with them at close range or immobile. Contrary to what some pundits have claimed, video games, no matter how realistic, are not a substitute for actual training. Both assailants were familiar with firearms in general, and they had fired .22 rifles. But the tapes and other accounts seem to bear out that they only had one chance to fire the weapons they actually used in the attack. They never fired any of the pistols. Shortly after the firefight with (Special Resources Officer) Leon Stetz, Kriegman switched to his revolver, firing it with one hand and carrying the shotgun in the other. He did not hit anybody with any of his 6 shots. Nobody in the hall way was hit badly enough by either Kriegman or Gabriel to stop them from running. Their lack of experience somewhat mitigated a terrible tragedy

CBS Colardo: Self-proclaimed white supremacist and convicted felon held on weapons charges after trying to establish "white private community" in Colorado

A Colorado man has been ordered held in federal detention and his 11 guns were seized after the FBI says he illegally possessed those guns. He allegedly professed Nazi and white supremacist sympathies and wanted to establish a "white private community," according to investigators, in Fremont County, southwest of Colorado Springs.

Chad Edward Keith, 41, has been charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person due to a previous federal weapons conviction. If convicted on the new charges, he could face a fine and up to 10 years in prison.

Keith bought two adjacent properties and is alleged to have been planning to build a school for kids younger than high school-age with an "anti-Semitic curriculum." 

Eleven guns, along with ammunition, were seized at Keith's property by federal agents, including:

A .300 Magnum bolt action rifle with no serial number;

Mossberg 500 12-gauge shotgun;

Savage model 93 R17 17HMR caliber;

Glock 21 .45 caliber;

Scoped bolt action rifle with a hand-engraved serial number;

Winchester model 62A, .22 caliber;

Century Arms C308 Sporter;

Ruger 10/22 .22 long rifle;

Mossberg 590 12-gauge shotgun;

Century Arms WASR-10 7.62x39mm caliber;

Ruger Super Redhawk .44 magnum.

Keith pled guilty in 2003 to one count of possessing a "destructive device," a felony, for which he was sentenced to four years in prison, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

While his indictment doesn't detail that original conviction, news articles and court documents from 1999 through 2004 show a man with the same name and age as Keith having been charged and later convicted of planting a homemade bomb in the bathroom of Coushatta High School in Coushatta, Louisiana, where a Chad Edward Keith, 18 years old at the time, was a senior.

The bomb was detonated, causing damage to the school, but it was evacuated before it could go off and no one was injured, according to the Associated Press.

Court records show Keith is being represented in the Colorado case by the Federal Public Defender's Office.

In his indictment, Keith allegedly expressed antisemitic viewpoints to the FBI informant. He "has described himself as both a "National Socialist" and a Nazi. I know from my training and experience that the term "national socialism" describes a white supremacy ideology consistent with Nazism," a special agent with the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force wrote in her application for an arrest warrant.

Keith allegedly told the informant he has some "serious fucking concerns" that he would "absolutely" die for.

He's due back in court on June 12 and a jury trial has been set for July 24.

Coworker shooting time has gone really well. My buddy has brought his groups from basketball or larger sized to smaller than a racquetball size in only 2 lessons.

He was happy as fuck today when we returned to the range and he put all 5 of his first shots in to the 10 ring. We shot 50 rounds each taking our time and working on form. I also need to be training as much as possible.

It felt great building his confidence with the platform and pistols in general. We shot a box of 45 out of his super redhawk Alaskan, and his groups with that majorly improved as well. Fucking Ruger Alaskan super redhawk is badass.

Then we shot the model 67 Winchester .22. I have never been a big .22 advocate, but looking down those iron sights at our little rifle range target in the desert was a great experience. It sounded like a star wars blaster when we shot it, and drilled VERY small groups even with just iron sights.

We are going to try and keep a 2-3 day per week training cycle going, maybe adding an additional day to shoot bottles and cans with the .22 or clays with the weatherby.

Project Proposal - Discussion. Part 6.

I decided to check out David MK's artwork.

I really enjoyed his Springfield rifle, and I wanted to look more at his works to get inspired.

I love the shading, colours and details of this pistol. It shows that the artist has gained plenty of experience from previous works to perfect his craft.

And the attention to detail is amazing as well - with each material having a different material texture, and even with some grease and dirt around the pistol - shows that the author is professional in his work.

What is really interesting is that he used only Blender and Substance Painter during the creation of these assets, which is very interesting for me. While I do plan to learn other software besides the ones I already know - I want to reach a masterful level first in creating various assets beforehand, so that I learn how to make high quality work before I begin learning a new software - which would take some time.

From the work above - I understand that presentation takes an important role here. For my final project - I will dedicate more time into the final render, by adjusting the camera settings, and scene lights and background.

In the 1950s, he made his first pistol in .22lr, called the Ruger Standard, based on the design of the Japanese Nambu pistols.
