Welcome to the Cuphead show neighbor!

The residents are all here from the splendiferous neighborhood of Inkyhomes! Having a grand ole time in the sunshine

Even the Devil and Dice are happy! Today's a day where the residents all come together unfortunately no today is not June 13th but! It's still a flourishing day anyways

Reminder I do apologize for the lack of my au content I know you lot actually loved my au and I did too but I simply couldn't bring myself to draw it lack of motivation I guess I'll try harder to make more for you neighbor's!

Maybe for lore wise I'll try and copy and paste stuff from my document to here to save time yep! That's right because I'm the way I am I have a document to help type out lore and ideas for my OCs and Au so I won't forget anything I just modify and add changes here on Tumblr

“Dance! Dance with me!”

Note: I used the boss form design for Nina which was created by @eve-pie pie (awesome lad)

Story time!

Silky was always a weird Ostritch, she originally resided with Esther Winchester but left due a bit of a disagreement with how Esther acts and behaves. Alone, Silky sees Sally Starplay one day performing and desperately wants to join in a show. However she is unsure of herself, and despite being naturally gifted with dancing she is still nervous. So one day when she is dancing alone she sees Nina taking account of her dance skills. Still shy and quite embarrassed she is hesitant until Nina encourages her to keep dancing. Inspired, Silky dances and starts to teach Nina what she knows. To Nina’s surprise; Silky is one very talented ostritch. And together the two dance for hours and hours until eventually Silky became tired. (Which takes several hours for that to happen)

Silky: “yes! Like that! Be swift and nimble and watch your footing! Keep it long yet soft! Yes yes!!!

Lately I did say I was practicing more ostrich art for Silky, and despite her spooky month design being based off an ostrich, I decided to make her Cuphead design one as well!

Mostly inspired from this animation is Disney Fantasia.

Tada! A Cuphead au relationship chart! Since I'm finally more comfortable with my au and the people within my followers I decided that we should go by clown's rules everyone can be shipped in the au!

Expect my only rule is don't ship barnaby and Wally they are technically brothers here, and Poppy is a lesbian (she's married to Miss beagle) other than that go crazy do what you want have fun! This would also include Julie's siblings they're free to be shipped with

Wally and Barn are in fact adults now because I said so they're just small due to being a cup and a mug

Alright now I've made ✨Sally starplay✨ and ✨elder partridge✨

Elder partridge is a little old and may or may not have severed in the war which afterwards led her to be jumpy and frazzled at the slightest sounds which doesn't help due to Barnaby and wally's antics she's just a concerned grandma

Sally starplay used to be friends with Wally and Barnaby and would often invite them to plays but of course she was pissed off when the cup and the mug came to get her soul for a stupid bet wally lost but she did forgive them afterwards

For the Cuphead Au

After switching and reforming Silky design, I turned her into a ballet ostrich.

How would Sally Starplay react to seeing the talented Silky dancing and accidentally stealing her spotlight? (Silky doesn’t mean it, but dancing ostriches are a sight.)

Sally would obviously be tremendously jealous but she wouldn't do anything to sabotage anyone her worlds a stage and it's time to shine! She would want you to wear your face with pride!!

And you are right a dancing ostrich is certainly a sight which is why she would let it slide it'd be good for stageplay i also like to believe Sally would not like silky but would end up warming up to her the more they preform together

She would still hate her spotlight being taken much like all the welcome home characters if Sally does get closer to you she'll give you a nickname like how she calls Wally: waliford, or Howdy: Howardson

I've recently reached 70+ followers!! So here is yet another surprise

Note: The bots I create are not exactly accurate lore wise to the au this is due to the fact I didn't code in any other character and because well it's an AI

So no the devil and king dice don't exist here neither does Wally or Barnaby These bots were created just for fun!!!

More of my Cuphead au!!

I had a think think Brain blast moment and decided that I needed to think of designs for the cuphead bosses

But couldn't cause theirs nine neighbors and I'm not skilled enough to make home a boss let alone a villain because he's a silly little house

I already made a few neighbors a boss

Sally starlet as Sally stageplay (referred to as Sally starplay in this au)

Eddie dear as the devil (referred to as Eddie devil dear in this au)

And Frank as king Dice (referred to as Frank Dicey in this au)

However anyone outside of that are heros or just normal people

Julie joyful as Miss Chalice (Refered to as Miss joyful in this au)

Wally darling as Cuphead (Referred to as Wally Cupling in this au)

Barnaby b Beagle as Mugman (Referred to as Barnaby b mug in this au)

Poppy partridge as elder kettle (Referred to as elder partridge in this au)

Ms beagle is also in this au as a caretaker for barnaby she's married to poppy

Howdy pillar as porkrind haven't figured out a name or design for him yet currently under construction

(Barnaby and Wally are step siblings in this au however barnaby knows they aren't related while Wally fully believes they are brothers)

Anyways So I was left stumped for a while however I decided like any normal person would do I took some welcome home OCs and made them bosses I tried to make them still look like themselves but mixed in with a random cuphead boss

Dandy.... As Dandy carnation (btw Dandy's power's are flower related because of course)

Note: (Dandy's personality is mixed in with the boss so if I did anything wrong or misinterpreted him entirely I will happily fix it please let me know this is the first time I've ever did something like this)

Phase 1

Dandy is taking the place of cangey carnation however unlike the normally evil flower dandy is an absolute sweetheart at first! they work as a gardener and occasionally sells a few flowers but when hearing that Wally (Cuphead) and barnaby (mugman) was out to get his soul then he became defensive Dandy is the first boss you face

Phase 2

Dandy starts to become more serious and determined they don't necessarily wanna hurt Wally and Barnaby however they are after his soul its either him or them becoming a tad more aggressive and angry showing that he can be as much of a threat as them

Phase 3 final form

In this form Dandy is very aggressive and capable of using fire! Everywhere on them is thorny and spikey they refuse to lose to Wally and Barnaby especially if his soul is on the line

I kinda based this boss of the snapdragon and chomper from plants vs zombies and of course the piranha plant from Mario

Dandy is capable of

Fire breathing only in final form

In all forms Dandy can use vines to attack along with other flowers

Growing varies plants such as trees etc

Growing thorns anywhere on his body and around him however there's a limit to how far the thorns can go at least 20 feet in front of him

And dandy has any ability that the actual cangey carnation has

Dandy can also grow and shrink his size final form is at least 10ft

Next up is Millie Valentine as Baroness Von bon bon who shall be now known as Baroness Millie Val bon bon (or baroness millie for short)

Millie with a popmodour canon!?!

Phase 1

I uh kinda struggled with Millie I may make a few changes to her

Anyways the baroness may appear as a sweetheart who will share sweets with you however she's uh a little crazy to say the least due to an old curse keeping her inside of candy land she hasn't had normal human contact in years outside of her little candy people

Whenever she meets a normal person much like the baroness inside the show (cause in the game she's immediately aggressively) she will put up a mask and act sweet until you break a rule when meeting Wally and barnaby she did just that however the moment millie found out they were there for her soul that facade immediately faded and she became aggressive

Since Millie is still a work in progress I won't show her other phases

Finally some Cuphead au art!

Along with some lore and fun facts!

For height differences

Cuphead Wally is a little shorter than original Wally he's a least 2ft

Mugman Barnaby is the tallest of them all he's at least 4ft

And Miss joyful is a few inches taller than Wally she's 3ft

Eddie devil dear and Frank Dicey are both 6ft

Howdy pillarind is 8ft

Elder partridge and Mrs beagle are 7ft

Sally starplay is 5ft

The joyful siblings are taller than Julie obviously! Franny is 6ft Jonesy is 8ft and Bea is 7ft

Eddie hates Wally but why? That dumbass overthrew him, violated their contract in the name of friendship, and is just annoying he wants to just snatch his soul but he can't there's something no someone protecting him? Who exactly you'll see sooner or later..not in this post ha ha

Before I continue here some fun facts

Julie was a rainbow monster because of course! they were a rare species often known for their shapeshifting abilities most famously their abilities to disguise themselves as cups such as a Chalice which were more advanced and high class cups due to being often referred as royalty they were unfortunately wiped out during the famous cup war at least that we know of

Wally and barnaby are both cups yes mugs count they are currently the last of their species that we know of because of this war

Elder partridge or Poppy partridge does know Julie but doesn't recognize her as a cup if she saw her as a ghost then she'd know her

Julie hates to be referred to as her actual name if your not her siblings so everyone knows her as Miss joyful

Howdy is probably a wanted criminal but you didn't hear that from me

Each rainbow monster has they're own set of abilities related to plants

Wally and Barnaby have powers they were born with them unlike in the original game where they drunk a potion

Wally is very clumsy and stupid

Miss joyful and Sally starplay have a past relationship that ended bad

Howdy is a butterfly in this au!

Poppy and howdy were both in the same war as Julie and her siblings

Poppy and Mrs beagle are married in this au but historians will call them close friend's, besties, roommates, colleagues anything but lover's history hates lovers!

Oh and Wally doesn't actually have a nose that's a button he glued on himself he doesn't have eyebrows either

Yo wait before I forget finally I present howdy's design he takes the place of porkrind in this au!

Howdy pillarind

So he sells possibly illegal things to Cuphead and Mugman Wally and barnaby for their adventures like for a video game standpoint he would sell healing items, weapons and potions he does this for a living standpoint however rather than healing he would sell weapons, potions, or any illegal tool from fireworks, firearms and all that jazz to Wally and barnaby he doesn't have a permit for his bodega or anything he sells and he may or may not have been part of the war so yes he's a wanted criminal

Soo Why would I bring up the joyful siblings? Well congratulations I finally made a design for them in this au! They take the place of the three Mausoleums sorry the three joyful's

They're last names are still joyful after all!

And here's Julie's ghost design

Fun facts

Julie's abilities are mostly related to flowers much like Dandy carnation (see this post) she can grow and manipulate flowers for her bidding she can even talk to them all of the siblings can

Bea joyful being a healer her abilities are mostly mushroom related she can grow other herbs and plants for the making of healing and what not her mushrooms exploded if she threw them for attacking purposes

Franny's abilities were mostly related to trees and strength she could grow any tree and or throw them she was the strongest of the siblings

Jonesy could grow moss and other things such as vines or stuff you'd find in a swamp although he's quiet his magic was stronger than the rest of the siblings

See their horns are a reference for power Jonesy's being the biggest he was the strongest with his abilities Franny was second, Bea was third and between all of the siblings Julie was the weakest

TW: when talking about what happened to them and how they ended up in their position can get a bit heavy Soo I think some people would just wanna skip this part again I honestly don't know just a precaution mentions of war and death

Now the joyful siblings severed in the war with Julie and Poppy! Franny was in charge of coordinating, tracking, and planning out their attacks, Bea was the stealthiest of them all however when not getting called to missions she took care and fed the survivors of the war they could find, Julie and Jonesy would go out and fight Jonesy working with bombs and what not while Julie was more swords and spears! range and close combat basically

However much like all stories theirs came to an end presumably Bea was first

Bea got her eyes taken out which she survived but later in the week she was shot and killed in an ambush nobody saw coming

Devastated and felt like it was her fault Franny stopped sending Julie and Jonesy out of missions to protect them little did they know they had a rat on their team that tried to frame Jonesy by killing Franny with a bomb Jonesy name was cleared but Franny still died

Jonesy and Julie stook together through everything and they were doing well except Jonesy caught an illness and he didn't wanna worry Julie but she found anyways rather than receiving treatment Jonesy started getting worse and worse when Julie finally found medicine for Jonesy he'd had already past

Being the last sibling Julie was determined to finish what her siblings started and later earning the name as the legendary Julie joyful however after the war was over Julie was unfortunately killed by Eddie

When the joyful siblings finally reunited with each other they all found out they had the ability to change back into a cup, Chalice or whatever for a while or in their case with astral cookies (if you eat one a ghost will take the place of a living soul until they switch back out) they didn't want Julie to get hurt again so they trapped her in a vase it wasn't until Wally and Barnaby defeated the siblings and free Julie did the joyful siblings fail to protect her hence the delicious last course (Cuphead dlc)

Unlike the cuphead show the siblings can turn to ghost by their own free will she didn't sell her soul to the devil I hated how Chalice backstory was protrayed in the show
