For @choicesmcmadness week 1: shelter

I have a few HCs for Sadie and Ethan about camping because these two love the outdoors

They have a cabin in the woods in New York state that they use pretty often

It was Ethan's since before they got together

If they're going camping somewhere else, though they use a tent

They go camping pretty often, so they have plenty of high quality equipment

Sydney and Ethan love the outdoors, but Sydney prefers a little more modern version of camping

He's a big fan of glamping tbh

So, Sydney and Ethan own an RV camper

Sydney decorated it himself and made it very boho

Jackie and Thomas own a cabin in the Pacific Northwest (I haven't decided exactly where yet, but if y'all have any suggestions I'd love to hear them)

They also have a beach house in Malibu

But if they're camping somewhere they don't own a house, they use a tent

Gabe, Sav, and Aislinn go to a hotel when they go "camping"

Gabe and Aislinn are city folk lol

Sav can definitely handle roughing it, but he doesn't like to as much

They don't go often because they already travel a lot for work, but they still go sometimes

So, they usually stay in the camper when they go

Tyrstan was definitely hesitant at first, as he had no experience with this, but Jenna told him if they were going to to camping they were going to do it right

Jenna's dad took them camping a lot when they were young, so they're really good in the outdoors and taught Trystan all he needed to know

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do? Sadie: honestly, quite a while tbh. Sadie is perfectly content with just sitting with her own thoughts. Sav: like, 10 minutes. max. they need mental stimulation like All The Time. also, with their Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, they can only sit still in one position for about 45-60 minutes before it starts to hurt.

29. Do they usually live up to their own ideals?  Sadie: Yes, she works really hard to make sure she does Sav: Sometimes, yes. They try really hard to, but something they set their ideals a little too, unrealistically high. Not on purpose, but you know.

B. What inspired you to create them? Sadie: I wanted an OH universe with Ethan x MC where they had kids, but I really felt like Sydney and Ethan wouldn't have kids, so I decided to just... make another MC lol. I love making MCs hehehe Sav: I wanted to write for/share stuff about an MC in a throuple and Sav x Aislinn x Gabe was just perfect. I love them so much hehehe

1. Who sleeps/sits in the middle? Do they switch? Most often it's Sav, but sometimes they switch is up. Especially if Gabe or Aislinn have a bad day or whatever and could use some extra cuddles.

4. Which two got together first? Or did they all start dating each other at once? Sav and Aislinn got together first, then Sav and Gabe got together as well. Gabe and Aislinn starting hanging out outside of work more once they were both dating Sav, and they ended up catching feelings for each other as well, so they all started dating!

14. Who ends up clinging to one or both of their partners in their sleep? Aislinn, mostly. Sav can also get clingy sometimes, so often Aislinn and Sav cling to each other. Gabe isn't as into physical touch as the other two (although he loves it from them, it's just not ranked as high in his love languages as it is for them).

1. Who sleeps/sits in the middle? Do they switch? They switch sometimes, but most often it's Sav.

2. What does the bed situation look like? Gabe, Sav, and Aislinn all sleep in the same bed, most of the time. Their place has three bedrooms though, so they can all have their own space when they need it. Each room has a bed that's big enough for all of them, so they can choose where to sleep each night, but most of the time they sleep in "Gabe's" room.

5. Who do people usually think is the third wheel? Gabe, because he's the least interested in PDA.

19. Who is forced to drive while the other two make out on the back seat on road trips. Most often Gabe drives, sometimes Aislinn though. Sav is a terrible driver, so not him, pretty much ever. Gabe doesn't necessarily drive so Aislinn and Sav can make out (although it does happen), but because he enjoys it the most.

20. Who is banished to the back seat while the other two talk in the front on road trips Sav. He likes the space anyway and doesn't mind just putting on some headphones and zoning out. He tends to not be super talkative during long drives, but Gabe and Aislinn love talking, especially bc they're the ones who drive and they can't zone out while driving lol.

Jackie Winters- pretty young, like middle school. identifies as bisexual and as a demigirl. celebrates pride by going to pride events, posting supportive posts and resources on social media, and donating a lot of money to lgbtq+ organizations

Sydney Valentine- also fairly young, like middle school/early high school. identifies as bisexual (w/a preference for men) and as a demiboy. celebrates pride by advocating for equality in health care and access to gender affirming care for everyone. also does a lot of work for edenbrook's lgbtq+ health center.

Sadie Oakley- early/mid high school. identifies as bisexual and cisgender. celebrates by donating to lgbtq+ organizations and advocating for lgbtq+ health care and education. also does a lot of work for edenbrook's lgbtq+ health center
