@childoffaketown gave me the link on my other account (@natsspammityspamspamham). I’m just here to add some stuff to the Anime News Network article. I also made some cast/character comparisons.
Of course, I still plan on making an overview of the whole series, but that’s going to take... quite a while!
You can find their official Twitter (Japanese) here: https://twitter.com/KokuhakuStage
"Executive Confession Committee"
That’s the English name of the group focused on in the first movie called Zutto Mae kara Suki deshita.: Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai. You can find more information with that link which has information (English) about the movie plot, cast, etc.
A series project focusing on HoneyWorks' songs:
"Confession Rehearsal" (告白予行練習/Kokuhaku Yokō Renshū)
"First Love's Picture Book" (初恋の絵本/Hatsukoi no Ehon)
"A Solution to Jealousy" (ヤキモチの答え /Yakimochi no Kotae) [The title directly translates to Yakimochi’s Answer, but I used the English title that’s more often used]
The following is from the Anime News Network Article:
Stage production company Stage Project Illuminus announced on Tuesday that it is producing a stage play based on HoneyWorks' "Confess Your Love Committee: Romance Series" project. The play, titled 70-oku Bun no 1 no Koi ~Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai~ (Love of 1/7 Billion ~Confess Your Love Committee~), will run at the CBGK Shibugeki!! theater in Tokyo from March 6 to 15. Kōki Yamamoto is directing the stage play and penning the script.
Cast:
Shūsuke Saitō as Yū Setoguchi
Rikako Nagino as Natsuki Enomoto
Shōta Takasaki as Sōta Mochizuki
Yuri Kawashima as Akari Hayasaka
Shō Katō as Haruki Serizawa
Kasumi Hasegawa as Miō Aida
Natsuki Ōsaki as Koyuki Ayase
Yū Yoshioka as Saku Akechi
The project features Vocaloid songs by the "monster creator unit" HoneyWorks, and has thus far inspired two films and a six-episode television anime special. The series' first film, titled Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita: Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai (I've Always Liked You), openedin Japan in April 2016. The second film, titled Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan o: Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai (The Moment You Fall in Love), opened in Japan in December 2016. The Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart. special premiered in November 2017. Crunchyroll is streaming both films, as well as the special.
The first film was based on the "Kokuhaku Yokō Renshū" (Confession Rehearsal), "Hatsukoi no Ehon" (The Picture Book of the First Love), and "Yakimochi no Kotae" (The Answer to Jealousy) songs. The Moment You Fall in Love shares the same title as the musical group's third album, and specifically centered on the HoneyWorkssongs "Ima Suki ni Naru" (I'm Falling in Love Now) and "Sankaku Jealousy" (Triangle Jealousy).
More cast information will be mentioned below!
