BIGFLIP:✅ Landing this one was a battle! Though I had a feeling I could do this one. For some reason I was able to do fakie big flip almost a full year before I could do a regular tre flip. How that works I have no idea! It just makes sense in my brain. A bigflip though? I had to work it out in my mind, feel it out. I tossed one the other day to get a feeling for it. I do this with tricks every once in a while. Sometimes I don’t try a trick for a while and then end up trying one just to see how it feels. That day a bigflip felt like it might work. I battled it and landed a couple ugly ones. A few days later I went out to work on it again. This was the first one I landed that I really felt good about. Nollie heelflip? ✅😭 I don’t even know how this happened. I’d been considering Nollie heelflip recently but wasn’t sure if I could actually learn how to do it. It seemed so out of the realm of possibility that I couldn’t imagine landing it. I went out the other day to skate and ended up tossing one. Then another.
