Nailah's first reaction to most things is to hide, and personal difficulties are no different - rather, she's much worse about them. She hates having her issues spill over onto others and isolates herself in any way she can, retreating within herself if she can't retreat to privacy. Pressing her on this only reinforces her stubborn distance, and she bluntly shuts out people who try and force her to open up.

This doesn't stop G'raha from trying and to his credit, she does soften for him. Slightly. She still prickles at the thought of bothering him and is an endless font of apologies through much of his fussing, but she knows better than to try to change his mind once it's set. Under her grumbles she does appreciate his kindness, and she tries to pay him back by offering her support in kind.
