anyway my top ten fave episodes (in order of appearance, not preference because that's far too hard) are:

MAG 11: Dreamer: love this episode. love the imagery, love the pacing, love oliver banks. we stan a clairvoyant king

MAG 32: Hive: this is the episode i've listened to the most. I love this episode so, so much. If I ever had to audition for a thing I'd do Prentiss's statement because of how hard it fucking slaps. I want to write like this.

MAG 34: Anatomy Class: academia comedy

MAG 81: A Guest For Mr Spider: iconic for a reason. after the sheer chaos of the last 2 episodes of S2, to strip it back to just jon talking about a book he read in childhood is so so good. 

MAG 99: Binary. this episode scares me shitless for reasons i can’t name. it’s genuinely changed some of my thinking. ‘the angles cut me when i try to think’ is such a haunting and memorable line. the fact that s2!jon was taking advantage of the woman- only took her statement in the first place so that he could get help with gertrude’s laptop- just really adds that extra layer of tragedy to it.

MAG 160: The Eye Opens: obviously

MAG 171: The Gardener: best depiction of anorexia I’ve ever seen, anywhere- and I normally hate EDs in horror! ‘to be loved, you must always be less’ hit me somewhere deep inside BIG oof

MAG 187: Checking Out: the best episode of TMA. thank u for ur time
