Well, actually, I decided to go with a pear bundt cake because it's. traditional Minnesotan dessert and shit. And somewhat simple, but not too simple. Obviously spruced it up a bit, specifically with a maple syrup icing to honour Greg's moose heritage. It turned out good! Next time might be cooking instead of baking. He picked it up pretty quick, I think.

i did do many fun things in Minnesota- saw the sights, did some activities such as a sleigh ride in the park. i, uh, i met Tom's folks again, got to spend a wee bit more time in their company than i'd previously been able. they're nice people

Tom also baked up a storm so i got to be an official taste tester for that, which was mint.

overall it was a pretty chill, relaxing holiday for me. couldn't ask for anything better.

uhh yeah, i think i've heard of it once or twice before... i wouldn't say i'm completely unfamiliar. it's, like, a greek myth or something, right? or- it's an 80s rock band i don't think... could be, though

i guess i'm not overly familiar with it. i don't know a ton about ancient history or, um, mythology or anything, haha, i'm no expert. the most i know of greek myth really is from the game Hades. which is super fun, by the way, totally recommend it even if you're not usually a fan of roguelikes

oohhhh. well, in my workplace i'm actually fairly high level. so i'd be very near the top but, at the same time, i am also an assistant? so... sort of like at the bottom of that upper level. you could say i'm at. the bottom of the top.
