He tried learning them as he grew up but they were either troublesome or he downright forgot about them. It wasn't as if he intended to be that way; though, it had been a bit hard trying to reform his personality into what would be agreeable to society.

They were walking leisurely around the forest, enjoying the great weather that day. He had asked her that morning if she wished to walk with him; his head was full of negative thoughts that he couldn't shake off. Normally, he would go to have his favourite ramen, and he planned to do just that later. But right now, he needed someone to voice his thoughts to. Naruto turned to his redheaded companion, opening his eyes to look at her. 

〝  I accept my flaws. Accepted them long ago，〞 he told her, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. 〝  I don't let anyone get to me， not anymore．〞 He sighed, then gave her a small, awkward grin. 〝  It's just...quite difficult to become what everyone expects me to be， heh.  〞

Besides them, only a small handful of others had seen it. He guessed she was the primary one with how much time they spent together. And how easy it was for him to relax around her. And actually made him feel like a person...

Well, today was the first day of October. The fall season was in full swing now and Kakashi was enjoying it inside the hokage office. It wasn’t all bad though, he had his dogs all over the place taking naps so that was nice. Would he rather be outside? Definitely.

It was the turning of the seasons that was truly interesting for Madara. Even on the island of the Dreams Country. Yumegakure had a view festival that lasted all day and even the lone Uchiha took part in it. Nothing special, he was just there as an attendant just like anyone else. Residents from the Dream Country and even the neighboring island of the Gold Country and Earth Country came to partake in it. 

He wasn’t used such a crowd of people view nature, but it was a welcomed change of pace.

Despite maturing over the years, there were still times that Rock Li’s mouth moved quicker than his brain did and he spoke without thinking.  Today was one of those days.  His brain’s warning of, “Saying that will come off as flirtatious of even predatory!” Arrives after his words leave his lips.

“You have a fantastic physique.” Li spouts in the middle of a Kirigakure marketplace towards a very muscular and red-headed person.  “Your muscles are very defined; I can tell you have worked very hard to achieve such a shape. It is very impressive.”

And then comes his brain’s warning. His brown, freckled cheeks become rosy with the feeling of being mortified.  Cue a quick, deep bow.  “I am very sorry; That did not come out right.”

“Can we just… be together for a while?” DoYoung didn't look too good, that was easily her third cigarette and she was almost through a bottle of Soju as she touched at the gauze along the middle of her stomach.

What a ridiculous question as if he had anywhere else to go. As if anyone else is wanting him or waiting for him. Maybe death does want him, just maybe? Nah...he was wounded so many times yet Amaterasu deny him, his soul, and she forces him back to live a pointless life.

Is this what he can hope for to watch how others die? And how do their Gods accept their souls no matter how dark and twisted they are? Shisui plucks the cigarette from her mouth and takes a deep pull resting by her side, smoking his forever-lasting vice. It feels good the smoke the acid taste the after feeling.

He had no words of comfort to offer her, he doubted that she ever wanted those, his unlikely soulmate. With each day they discovered something new about their bond. This was the last discovery, the wounds they would receive in battle would mirror the other.

"Well, let's see how you will deny me this time Amaterasu. With a wound along the middle of my stomach." Shisui looked to Do leaning his forehead to hers

Once a long time ago Shisui enjoyed reading poetry, this is the best consolation he can give her.....

[ Astra was tired. This time when the shinobi came for her.. she fought--but ultimately she couldn’t kill the team of ANBU. She only really wanted Atreus to make it back home, anyway. After she had been assured that her brother would be fine... that they were only there for her, she surrendered herself willingly. Not that she really wanted to--but just because she knew there was no hope of escaping it this time.

She was eleven--the incident with her uncles scarred her and left her weak, but stronger in a way.

                     ❝ I’m not going to be married to anyone, am I? ❞ 

The ANBU that carried her seemed to do a double take.

❝ No. ❞

She nodded, satisfied.  ❝ That’s all I wanted to know. ❞

It was still scary. They killed other ninja, but she already knew death. All she could do was grip onto the one carrying her tighter as he sped on ahead. And then--to Kirigakure. The village.. and the people in it.. were terrifying. She could tell they killed. She kept her eyes averted--just in case her bloodline ability activated. She had always been told that shinobi were evil. That they were greedy and wanted everything for themselves and they sold themselves and their abilities to whoever would pay the most.

That they had no honor.

❝ Kid, this is where I leave. You’re going to go home with DoYoung. You’re waiting in Mizukage-sama’s office for her. ❞ 

She nodded.

She hoped whoever DoYoung was--that they were nice. Anyone could have been nicer than her mother--even an angry snake!

The Mizukage didn’t even look up as she was shuffled in--and she spent the time making the small ice moons--at least until a pretty woman walked in. Or at least--Astra thought she was pretty. She tried to keep her eyes low--tried not to look at much of anything. 

❝ This is the child. ❞ The Mizukage pointed at her. She almost flinched.  ❝ She holds two kekkei-genkai and I’ve been assured by the others that she is decent.. at fighting. She will make a suitable shinobi if she’s trained correctly. This is the one from the land of fire-- Atria Astra Stellaris. ❞

She hesitantly held out the small ice-moon--it had a green tinge to it--the color of her chakra. She.. wanted to make a good impression.  ]
